St Mirren -V- ICT : Matchday thread
What was that all about? Illegal sombrero wearing? The old 'standing up' issue, I think....... I believe it may have been alcohol related, rather than just standing. (which is against the rules of the SPL).

Top 6 Baby!!!!!!
Setanta have looked at it as an option, but fingers crossed it stays where it is. No confirmation on their listings yet.

West Stand is still available to you as far as I know. There was just a new ruling that meant you had to exchange your tickets, this was in line with SPL rules that you should sit in the seat you have a ticket for. No problem though, just don't all try to exchange tickets immediately before the game. If you want to go to the West Stand you should sort it sooner rather than later. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

LOSERS
Didn't manage to get a total weight loss on Friday, but I'll do a bit of research and post an update soon. Before Mr Bannerman surfaces, I will confess attending a sports dinner last night, but now that we are weighed in on a Friday, we have some extra gym sessions this week to work it off. Les Kidger was also in attendance, but just to show his comittment to the diet, he didn't have his usual trip to Burger King on the way home. :015: :015: :015: If laughing burns calories, we can't have done too badly - great night.

JJB Gym
........... is falling down, falling down............................... Roof tiles blown off and brick work fell inside, beside the swimming pool I believe. Ouch. It is obviously closed, but for safety the road around it is also closed, causing mayhem at the retail park.

ICT Quiz night
Even with Charles Bannerman in our team we failed to max in the ICT section. :023: Headline round saved our blushes with a credible 8 out of 10. We did okay and enjoyed out night. Well done to all concerned. :021: :021:

Police and Stewards
To be fair I think it's a bit late now. Best done at the time. The club are aware of some of the incidents, but seat numbers, names/numbers of unhelpful stewards/police etc would help a lot. Specific details can be dealt with. Lots of people on here saying that they reported 'away' fans to both Stewards and Police and nothing was done. This is not acceptable, they should have been asked to leave - end of. As I see it If you see an 'away' fan who is causing offence i.e. wearing colours or inappropriate behaviour/celebrations, you should in the first instance report them to a Steward, who (assuming he has the appropriate licence - which should be obviously displayed as a blue credit card size ID) should ask the person to leave as they are breaching the ground rules. Not breaking any laws at this point, just rules. Only if a criminal offence is comitted by the person will the police get involved as they are only there to maintain the law of the land rather than the rules. If the said 'away' fan caused a breech of the peace, by refusing to leave the ground, then the police are quite entitled to remove the person and possiby arrest them depending on the circumstances. This is my understanding of the procedures in place. If there is a breakdown in this, record seat numbers and the buyer of the ticket can be traced, or if the stewards tells you they are not taking action, ask them for their badge/licence no and record their name, same applies to the police. Only then can complaints be efficiently dealt with and acted upon. The hospitality thing is a bit different - I'm not going to say that they pay more and deserve to do what they like, but there are a number of companies in Inverness who support the club through hospitality and sponsorship packages on a regular basis. If you are a Company owner and are taking clients to a match, it's possible that you may have supporters of the away team within the group, you might even choose who should go on that basis. This in no way excuses their behaviour, but hospitality seats are always in the main stand for ease of access to the facilities. You couldn't take a group and split them into home and away fans. People of their status should know how to behave and shouldn't cause offence to home fans. There have been hospitality clients removed from the stadium in the past, so it's not a case of them paying more and being allowed to do as they please. They have to comply with the same ground rules as anyone else. I hope that you find this helpful in dealing with any future incidents. I must stress that this is just my opinion and not any official information. Now open the gates for the abuse which is sure to follow - just trying to help.

Police and Stewards
I don't know what the Supporter's Club might be doing, but I did bring it up at the monthly meeting between the Supporter's Trust and the club. Unfortunately despite my request on here, I didn't have any specific complaints to take to them, just general comments. For us to raise it more forcefully we needed more specific information and nobody decided to provide us with that. It's one thing to come here mumping and moaning, and rightly so, but I asked for names and seat numbers, which would have been followed up by the Trust and the Club, but not one person got in touch. :012: The Supporter's Trust can and will take supporter's issues to the Football Club on your behalf, but fans need to take the issues to us in the first place.

Caley Sign Imrie
I remember reading somewhere that we couldn't extend his loan period as it was written into the loan deal that it couldn't be extended. I think we signed him on a pre-contract, but then negotiated his release for a nominal fee. Can't actually confirm this, but this was my understanding.

LOSERS
Weigh in again on Friday, so we'll update you then. Maimie is in the lead at the moment. Just be glad you didn't offer the same deal to the men. :001: Charles, we should take you up on your offer, but I think round the block would suffice for most off us. :001:

Kilmarnock Bid For Bayne
I don't think he involved in team selection. Brew is out of the Country, but he identifies who he wants and GB does the negotiating. I know that Grassa has worked hard over the last couple of days to tie things up. I can see no reason why we would want to let Bayne go. I was merely clarifying the comment on the radio which said Graeme didn't want Graham to go. Just a comment by Charles Bannerman, which doesn't imply that Brew didn't know anything about it.

Kilmarnock Bid For Bayne
Graeme Bennet is Director of Football. How could he not have a say. I'm sure he speaks to the manager about offers before deciding.

Kilmarnock Bid For Bayne
What he said was that Graeme didn't want Graham to go. :003:

Transfer News
Nish now agreed a fee to join Hibs immediately Robson to Celtic in a cash plus player swap deal with O'Brien from Celtic going to Utd until the end of the season.

Transfer window nearly shut
No, O'Brien, but he's gone to Dundee Utd on load as part of the Robson deal.

Transfer window nearly shut
We're also trying to secure a loan deal for a young Celtic attacking midfielder.
