I was under the impression that the supporter's trust was supposed to be looking after the supporters. If that is their job, their clearly not doing anything remotely like it and in any other industry would be sacked. Don't know how I missed this comment. Not sure how you go about sacking the Supporter's Trust. The board members are all volunteers, who are all busy people, but give up time to do the work of the Trust. One of our main priorities is raising money, hence the events, much of this goes back to ICT to improve something or to buy some new equipment and we have sponsored the street league this year with equipment and first aid kits. We also do speak to the football club on a monthly basis and discuss any issues that have arisen, or discuss future improvements etc. We do take the fans complaints to these meetings and have organised special meetings when there has been problems to sort. e.g the initial problems with the singing section. We met on the Sunday night to decide how best to deal with the issues. I wish I had seen this post before I arranged a meeting with Mike Smith on your behalf. I am giving up my personal time tomorrow morning to meet with Mike Smith to discuss whether or not he should have removed your banner. I really wish I hadn't bothered. :008:
  3. But which will draw the biggest crowd? Ross's game was very last minute and they took Sheffield as they were about anyway. I think that Barry's testimonial committee have done a lot of work to bring a 'big' club. I'm pretty sure we'll see a sell out and hopefully we might see a few of the names we recognise from Liverpool. It'll be good to see some of the old faces back in an ICT shirt.
  4. Due to time constraints - the golf day has now been moved to Friday 27th June All other details remain the same as above.
  5. Well come on guys - who has been listening to the radio this morning - the long awaited announcement has gone to press today. It will come as no surprise to you that the game will be: ICT v LIVERPOOL XI Monday 18th August 2008 - Tickets ?15 Adult and Child ?7 - Family ticket (2 adults and 2 children - ?40) Some blasts from the past also possibly making an appearance. There will be a 1 week priority sale for the usual groups, starting I think from next Monday. There will be a formal press release sent to this site later where you will get more information
  6. For a moderator, I think this is a very poor post. You haven't offered an opinion, given an explanation or contributed to the discussion at all. What was your point? "For a moderator". You are quite entitled to think that it is a very poor post, but the reference to Moderator status is completely irrelevant.

First of all - for the record my season ticket costs me ?330, so I'm also entitled to my opinion. I am a supporter of the club and should be as free as you to have my say without it involving the Supporter's Trust. I am on the board of the trust, but it doesn't mean that everything I say is the view of the Trust. It also angers me a bit that you care to suggest the Trust don't give a Toss about fans, when we have supported you and your friends on numerous occasions and will continue to do so as required. We are the Supporter's Trust and we will continue to work with the Football Club for the benefit of all fans. I'm going outside now to enjoy the lovely weather
  8. Possibly the fact that we were playing Gretna... I don't actually believe that Gretna were all that bad yesterday. We had 6 goals from 6 different players, I don't care who we were playing I'll take it any week. I was feeling quite good after such a good result, but I can now understand why most of the players don't even look on this site now, where many have been regular viewers in the past. Such negativity would get anyone down. :012: :012:
  9. funniest rumour yet
  10. Congratulations you have answered your own question. I certainly wasn't making banners to have the manager sacked. I like the flags and banners and think the lads in Section G offer great support. But you can't give the support in one hand and take it away with the other. Brewster is our manager, whether you like it or not and for as long as he is we should be supporting him. What absolute bollox. So if the guy is the manager we should support him? What if he came out and deliberately lost a game or something and admitted it but didn't get sacked. Do we still support him? Have you ever said "I think we should sell _____" after a series of bad performances? Its the same for Brew. What utter drivel. Why would he deliberately lose a game, but if he did something terrible and we looked like being relegated then yes I'm sure there would be an army of fans on here asking for him to be sacked. We are safe in the SPL for another season and the activity in the summer transfer market will make or break us for next season and then I think we can judge Brewster the manager. We are not going to agree, to just you have your opinions and I'll have mine, but I see no benefit whatsoever in calling for the managers head with 2 games to go til the end of the season when we are already safe
  11. Congratulations you have answered your own question. I certainly wasn't making banners to have the manager sacked. 12. The only negativity I have is for the twats who had a "Brewster Out" Flag tied to the barrier, just beside the Magic Marius Romanaian Flag. Fortunately a club official took it down just after kickoff - and it turned out that the brave souls who had made the flag were sitting miles away from it. Otherwise a very good day. WynessLegend? Condradicting your name there. How can you back someone who's treated Dennis so badly? And I had to put the flag there next to my Marius one so that the players can see it. At least im making a fecking effort you t0sser I have made no secret of the fact that I was unhappy with Dennis's contract withdrawal, but you now seem to be in the minority who want 'Brewster out now'. Funny you couldn't have the banner beside yourself, making it look like others were responsible. Brewster will have to make some tough decisions over the closed season and next year will tell whether or not he is a good manager. Get off his case for now
  13. And I though we might have a bit of a positive day. 6 goals with 6 different scorers and we still have 'fans' moaning. What do they need to do to please some people.
  14. There is no chance that Barrowman will come on a lower wage the Dennis. We cannot get players to come to ICT on the wages our current squad are earning. That's why we shouldn't be so too hasty in getting rid of what we have if they still have something to offer.
  15. I don't think you can ditch Marius because you weren't happy with his performance. I actually agree with IHE here. On other threads you keep saying Dennis is rubbish. He isn't a rubbish player or he wouldn't have been playing at this level for so long. Everyone (including Marius) is entitled to an off day. I believe that Marius was the first to hold his hands up and say he could have done better. Yesterday was a fantastic team performance. We had the old Rossco back, Barry had a great game, Roy McBain worked away quietly but very effectively as usual, Imrie was also in terrific form and all round great team performance.. Good to see us passing the ball about and getting back to playing good entertaining football. Reedee - we are all entitled to our opinions after games, but try think a little before you post sometimes. It does nothing for their confidence when they come on here and get all this negative, negative stuff. Many others are guilty. Just remember how much you enjoyed your hospitality and meeting the players, they are real people with real feelings. I really hope we see Dennis on the park v St Mirren with a new contract under his belt, although I'm not confident.
  16. 2005/2006 58 points meaning on points we would have finished 4th, but obviously with the split we were 7th. See here
  17. Win our next two games and we better our best ever points total. Had this discussion last night and did we not end a season on the 55/56 point mark, making us 3rd on points, but obviously we couldn't be higher than 7th?
  18. Sorry I didn't make that clear. Imrie is reportedly on higher wages than most, if not all of our established 1st team players. So releasing Dennis won't leave us enough to bring anothe Imrie type player from lower divisions. For the record I thought that Imrie was immense yesterday, so it's nothing against him, but you can understand why some of the 1st team may be a little unsettled. That's why I think we need to try to keep some of the players we have who can still offer something as we don't really pay the money to replace them with better players.
  19. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: A bit early, even for you to be predicting line ups. Do these guys even play for Newcastle? :rotflmao:
  20. we can easily get better than wyness for the same cash he,s on,iam sure theres someone in div 1 who scores more than him,i have faith in brewster, look at imrie, people were slagging brew of signing him,but look hows hes turning out! sometimes a step up a divison takes time but imries settled in straight away But did Imrie come for the same money as Dennis is on, I don't think so. Next to Niculae he could be our next highest player. :014: Fair - No I don't think so, so I'm not sure how we will get replacements. Remember Dennis was worthy of a contract only a few weeks ago. I really really hope he is given the chance to give us at least another season. We need the experience of the Dennis and Barry's of this world combined with the young ones coming through.
  21. :rotflmao:
  22. Obviously the testimonial committee have to have the co-operation of the football club re the final details, dates, ticket sales, hospitality etc etc. I know that they have been very supportive and I think everything is now in place to make an announcement. This will include dates for tickets going on sale and some hospitality offers. As Maimie says Clacher, I'm sure we can ensure you get a ticket if you want one. There will be a lot of non ICT people who will want to come as support for Barry and I think we should have a full away stand too.
  23. ICT don't organise the games, the testimonial committee, chosen by the player, are responsible for putting everything in place. Looks to me like they've got it covered pretty well.
  24. Still some places left. Promises to be a good night.
  25. Fair enough Rosscoe everyone entitled to their opinion. We need to replace him then and a lot will depend on who is available. Getting players to come to Inverness is not all that easy. They have to relocate and we don't pay great money. Dennis is settled here and had already agreed a new contract so I still think it's been handled badly. I can see the theory of making him earn the contract, but I think it has had the opposite effect (not just with Dennis, but the rest who are trying to do the same) and made them very nervous.
