  1. Bad decision I think. We seem to play better when Sanchez is involved, and I've yet to see anything from Eric that has convinced me he brings anything to the team. Watch him go get a hat trick now i've said that....hopefully!
  2. Forgot to add...Barrowman was mince. Nothing changes. :D
  3. Awful first half. Not sure if the tactic was to just boot the ball as long and high as we could, but that's all we did. At least Butcher changed it around at half time and we were far better in the second. Dare I say it, but Eagle did well when he came on. Not quite sure how Rooney failed to connect with Eagle's shot that came back off the post, but that was as close as we got. In saying that, that's the poorest I've seen County this year, and other than a flurry at the end they didn't really create anything either. Eric should've been hooked at HT, and Sanchez brought on. He's too lightweight, his first touch is woeful, and I've failed to be impressed by him everytime I've seen him. Duncan was my MOTM by a mile. Superb performance from him. A great point, considering County play Dundee next week. And we've got Foran back now. I said it before, but I think Dundee are going to drop out of it, and it'll come down to us or County.
  4. Um it kinda is since you are saying in your post that he should or will be playing. If you read some of the papers today you'd see he's the favoured choice to replace Foran. And he has the support of the rest of the team in that. And he'll have the support, if he plays, of all the fans there.
  5. That's us told then, sorry
  6. Yep, Sanchez has to play. No offence Nick, your time will come.
  7. I've a funny feeling Dundee are going to blow it completely and it'll be between us and County.
  8. 'Mon the Airdrie! :)
  9. Brilliant result for us. Down to 4 now.... They really are ***** away....and with 7 of their remaining games on the road then I can see them dropping a fair few points yet.

  11. Just wanted to wish them all the best for tonight :024:

Seeing as Dundee have won only 3 of their 10 away games so far, I don't see why everyone's expecting that form to change. They've looked very ordinary lately and I can see them dropping plenty of points in their last 11 games....of which 8 are away. Don't think it's a must win game on Sat, a draw would be ok I reckon.
  13. That was painful to watch. It's a good job Morton were so pish as a better team would've got a result off us today. Bit worried going into next week without Foran as we seemed to be clueless without him. Still, Golly was immense!

What we going to do at goal kicks????
  15. Rooney again!
  16. That's 4 times we've played them this season, and 4 times we've been by far the better team. We played them off the park up til the 75th minute, then as soon as Kerr scored you could see them getting a second. Not sure it's Munro's captaincy we should be questioning, it's his general play. Their equaliser came as a result of Munro giving Harkins all the time in the world to get his shot in. I really hope, if it isn't us, that Queens or County catch Dundee. I'd laugh my arse off if they didn't get promoted.

Reminds me of Bingham too. Great player, in my opinion, but just like Bingham, I wonder if he's to clever for the rest of the team. Aye, his reluctance to shoot can be infuriating, but the number of times he sets things up more than makes up for that. There were a couple of times today when he pulled the ball back perfectly into the penalty box, but, when all it needed was someone there to hammer it in.....well, there was no one there. Thats not his fault, it's the players around him who should be reading those kind of passes.

Surely it must've been touch and go if the pitch was playable or not, so what I don't understand is why not have the inspection at, say, 2pm? That'd given the ush a bit more time, which, when combined with the rising temperatures, would've in all likelihood meant the pitch was playable. The Queens fans are up here anyway, or enroute, so it's not like many would've been put out at waiting a few extra hours for a decision.
  19. Lionel was woeful again yesterday, but in saying that....the whole defence was. There was actually very little between the teams, difference was they took their chances, we didnt. And we certainly had enough of them...Rooney in the first min, the one where it seemed to run along the line, Foran;s shot, Rooney completely missing the ball. The problem with Lionel is, other than he's *****, that the rest of the defence gets pulled out of position far too easy when he's playing. He gets caught upfield so often, it normally results in gaping holes in the defence as one of them then has to cover for the missing left back. Not despondent at all after yesterday, we played some good stuff, but, as with so often this season, we werent clinical enough in front of goal. And, unfortubately, they were.

Good luck to him. Other than his superb goals against Hearts, and Motherwell the other week, I can't think of anything he ever did in his time here that'll make me wish he was still with us come Saturday.

Why? What has Dougie done that has made him hated by alot of the fans. He may blow hot and cold at times but he's still one of our best midfielders. We should be offloading others before him IMO. Never rated him from day one. I just can't see why some fans seem to think he's something special. He's fecking woeful...just my opinion obviously.

I'd be happy to get ?25 for him, let alone ?25000!!
  24. This is one aspect of our play that's really getting on my nerves this year. Why is everyone so reluctant to take a blast from outside the box? Instead we always look to play an impossible one two around the box in an attempt to get ourselves into an even better position. Everyweek it's the same, and the cries of 'Just shooooooooooot! seems to be the crowds favourite shout after Caley Caley Caley. When was the last time we scored a goal from open play with a 30yd rocket into the top corner??
  25. We could've won by 4 or 5 easily. Seems we want to walk the ball into the net at times though. The number of great chances we missed today was criminal. I didn't think either of our penalties were pens. The second one was a joke. The defender clearly got the ball first, and it looked like it was outside the area....not complaining though!!
