That was one of the worst games I've ever had to sit through. I should've done what the woman next to me did....left at half time!! We could still be playing now and not scored. If the whole crowd can see in the first 10 minutes that Rooney isnt going to win a thing in the air against Mensing, why can't the players see it too? There didn't seem to be any attempt to play a plan b. Not sure why anyone thinks Hayes had a decent game, that was easily the worst I've ever seen him play. And as for Cox...he was awful too. In fact, other than Gillet and Ross, the whole team was mince. I guess 3 points from 3 games isn't too bad, but these games against those we expect to be around us come the end of the season are really the ones we need to be picking up points from. Especially at home.

Nothing much to add except that Lee Cox is no right back!! He was awful there, the number of times their winger skipped past him was embarrassing. Other than that...comfortable win, dull match.

Ah right, cheers. Thought there must be a reason behind his continued non selection. Never knew that was it though. Shame, as he really has been in sensational form since moving to Cardiff.

What has Chris Burke got to do to get selected?? Seen him 4 times for Cardiff, on visits home, since the NY and he's been outstanding every time. By all accounts he's started this season in similar fashion.

What a performance that was!! McCanns goal was one of the best I've seen from an ICT player....can't wait to see it again. We could've easily scored 6 or 7 today, we were superb. Eric probably just shades MOTM for me, just ahead of Proctor. In saying that, every player deserves a 10 today.

Think we have to be realistic SP. We were playing a team who can sign the likes of Ledley, Juarez, and spend a couple of million on a striker no one has ever heard of. Let alone afford Bellamy's wages if he decides to join them.

Pretty much what everyone else has said. We were excellent in the first half, but got totally outplayed in the second. It could realistically have been 4 or 5 to them if they'd taken their chances, and didn't have Samaras. Defence was solid I thought. Esson was excellent. McCann looked very good, but Gillet was my MOTM. Great buy. Cox was a bit anonymous in the middle, and I thought Ross just didn't get into the game at all. Can't be too disappointed. It's the teams we expect to be around us we need to take the points off, anything against the likes of the OF is a bonus.

Great decision. It's clear who the leader on the pitch was last season. Foran was constantly encouraging, and haranguing those around him, and was a real leader. No offence to Grant, but he was never a great captain, and I felt his game declined when he was given the added responsibility. Hopefully, he'll now be back to his best. Anyway, as someone else pointed out....it's just an armband.

Agree with Joe, what a load of nonsense. I mind when Dundee Utd were up here a few years back, needing to win to survive. Robson's penalty saw a pitch invasion, pretty sure there was one one at the end too. Don't remember any fuss about those scenes, and rightly so. Last Saturday was just sheer enjoyment. There was no malice involved, and the folk on the pitch cleared themselves off it very quickly. It seems like every ounce of enjoyment and fun is being kicked out of football. Next we'll have wee printed sheets stuck to our seats telling us the dos and donts at every match. Going to a match is in danger of becoming a totally soulless experience.

So the only ones I've not seen mentioned as being offered new contracts (that's not to say they haven't, or won't be, offered one) are Bulvitus, Djebi-Zadi, Eagle, and Stratford. Of those I'd certainly keep Bulvitus, as he's improved as the season's progressed, and he's still very young. Eagle....thought he was mince when I first saw him, but he's done well in the latter part of the season, so aye, I'd give him a chance. Lionel, Stratford....nah. No idea what the position with the younger players like Duff, Morrison etc is.

Johnny Hayes is the best player ever, far better that that Pele bloke.
