  1. Aye, good luck in the future Bazza. A true ICT legend, and hopefully the ending of your time here is only temporary, and you'll be back when the time is right to lead the club to bigger and better things. You've given us all so many fantastic memories, but if I had to pick just one......well, that stunning lob at Motherwell in the cup was probably the best. ;) :thumb04: :018:
  2. Shocking decision. He's hardly been given a chance to show his worth over the last six months, so it kind of makes you wonder what the point of the original 6 month contract was?
  3. Doubtful. I was away in the hills all weekend, and was surprised how little I cared about finding out the result. Which is sad.....a few years back I'd never have arranged a weekend away when we were at home. Think I'll just save the money and use it for away days. Far more of a craic.
  4. Where has this 'beginning of the season' offer appeared from all of a sudden? Even in todays Courier Bennett says the players were offered new contracts only in October, and from memory, the club made a big deal of waiting to the October international break before sitting down with the players.
  5. Think he means the Dargo who scored 32 goals in 67 appearances for us?
  6. Seems to be an all too familiar scenario developing here
  7. ***** draw Wanted a wee team away!!
  8. The thing with Blackie though is that he's made no secret of how much he likes it up here, and I honestly believe if we offered him a decent contract (by our standards) then he'd sign. Obviously, like any footballer, he wants his career to progress to the highest level, and I've no doubt Blackie has the ability to do just that. At this moment in time though I think he's perfectly happy where he is, and the big move can wait until he builds his reputation some more. To suggest that tighter financial planning might be behind this is just madness, as we're in serious danger of losing our biggest asset for absolutely nothing. Like I said before, I've no idea what happens during the contract process, but this is all starting to sound worryingly familiar.
  9. He'll be away in Jan, trust me on that one
  10. Just what exactly is Bennet doing?! If that's true then it beggars belief. I think it was Esson saying after the Killie game how Blackie is the lynchpin in the team, the one who everything goes through, and how important a player he is. And we appear to be fecking him around :thumb04:
  11. He can be really infuriating at times, and he still blows hot and cold for me. In saying that though.....I thought he was mince when he first arrived, but he seems to be improving very quickly (I obviously appreciate the massive step up he initially made). I do love his 110% commitment as well, and I agree, he could turn out to be a very, very good signing for us.
  12. Celtic
  13. St Mirren Hamilton That's the only ones I know for those two.
  14. Blackie link Hope that works Gillian.
  15. Just seen the highlights. Barrowman was clearly onside when he 'scored'.....which, had it been given, would've spared us the nailbiting end! Good thread going on KillieKickback regarding Blackies booking.......seems he was very unfairly treated for having a bit of banter with the home fans?
  16. A couple of great saves from Esson. Barrowman on for Wood

    Rooney

    Agree.
  18. Only Munro signed didn't he? So that leaves Black, Fraser, and Cowie still to sign. This looks worringly like the Dargo situation, week after week there was no news, then he signed elsewhere. I've no idea what process contract talks go through, but find it worrying when there's no news about contracts that were offered a while ago now. With all the rumours about Cowie I think it's almost certain we're going to lose him very soon, but it's Blackie I'm more concerned about. If we were to lose him as well....
  19. Lots of huff and puff but no end product again. Much better than Wednesday, but we didn't really create anything, other than one almighty goalmouth scramble just before half time.....not sure what happened as it was at the away end, but both Barrowman and Rooney looked had the chance to tuck it away and I'm not sure how either of them didn't. Not sure how Blackie picked up his injury, but we really missed him in the middle. Can't say I agree with the marks above as I thought McBain had a decent game in the middle, at least he can pass to a player in the same colour shirt, unlike Duncan, whos passing is simply woeful. Barrowman.....it's hard to balieve we wasted the whole summer chasing this lazy *****. Rooney put himself about all day, and had a really good game, wheras Barrowman found it too much of an effort to jump for, or even move for, the ball. I don't mind losing if we at least put the effort in, and we certainly did that today.
  20. My point was.....Brewsters tactics could've (should've) seen us going in at HT 2 down, which we'd have found it very hard to have come back from. Yes, we managed to salvage a point, and maybe should've got all 3, but the point is, against a better team than Falkirk, we'd have been dead and buried by HT due to our managements tactics.
  21. In the same way, if Higdon had put away that easy chance he had after he'd scored we'd have gone in 2 down at half time, and that'd been game over.
  22. Our set pieces were a joke until Barry started taking them. Imrie was hitting them so high and deep the Falkirk defence must've thought he was taking the ****. And then he looked really fecked off when Brewster shouted to Barry to start taking them!
  23. Esson Tokely Duff Munro McBain Cowie Black Duncan Vigurs Rooney Wood
  24. We were shocking in the first half, and lucky to go in just the one down. Hastings had a mare, so did Proctor. So did the rest, but those two stood out for their truly woeful performances. At least he changed it in the second half, and we were much better....I'd have left if we hadn't been mind!! Rooney is by far our best striker, so why Brew is keeping him on the bench is baffling. As for Barrowman.... That was a game I really thought we'd get the three points from, but as so often happens this season, we're incapable of putting two decent performances (let alone results) together. The only stand outs for me were Rooney and Tokely. The rest were poor. A totally forgettable game I'm afraid.
