Thank you, gentlemen! The name "Stootie" really resonates from my past and younger years at Telford Street. Great times. Peter MacKinnon was the player who was as close to me as any Caley Player could be. A super, genuine soul and a real gentleman who lived next door to me when we lived in Dunain Road. He married the neighbour's daughter and their family was very close to me in my younger years. He has passed on now but I still think of him and still am in contact with Margaret (Pete's wife) and the Gibson family .

Chairman resigns
Yes, being ignored is a real downer. Say what you like to my face but please don't ignore me. It always seems to be such an insult when a quiet and polite word can be the difference between an alliance to the person or the alternative poor feelings towards him or her. However in the case of our alliance and loyalty to the club we just have to thicken the skin and move right on..

YMIP As you probably know I live overseas now for many years. Genuine condolences on your loss. I was wondering if the name you mention , Roshie Fraser, could possibly be the "Stootie" Fraser that I recall as a young lad was the interesting name given to one of the early Caley Players? Or have I got it wrong. That was a long time ago for sure.

Best ict goals
The reference to Miller I presume means the guy who also played for Vancouver in British Columbia. That Miller got the ball in his own half on that particular day, waltzed down to the opponent's goal at speed and scored handily. Unbelievable piece of footwork I must admit. It was like he was going through soft butter with a hot knife. "The MIller of old from Rangers as I remember.....?

Chairman resigns
I am sitting here both aghast and emotionally deflated. A very disappointing and stunning prospect awaits us. Since I am not a "Johnny on the Spot" then the best thing for me to do is to soak up as many viewpoints as provided and see all, hear all but say nowt. Then keep my fingers crossed , my powder dry and await developments with bated breath. Especially since I have never met the current officials who are running the club. As things apparently stand at the minute, then my incredible and incredulous emotional high that attended the viewing of the Scottish Cup win by ICT those few years ago does now seem like just a distant and possibly one-time paradoxically elusion. But things are seldom what they seem and there is a way out ,. Except that that will come at a high price I fear. So, onward and upwards, chums. S.P.

Reporting that I completely lost the end of the Podcast and found it really difficult to resume it. Then at the end I got it up and running only to fail again. Not complaining or nuffink', just reporting it.

Fort William - first league win in 882 days
"Why, Caleyboy? Where is the hurt, or diminution of ICT's stature, by fans showing positive feelings?. Any fan worth his or her salt surely approves of other teams always being enterprising and constantly seeking to improve by accepting offers by other , bigger teams, to help them and help blood their own up- and- coming players. What would you prefer to see? Teams languish and die or just fade away because someone, somewhere, refused to lend them a helping hand. It's called …"helping a lame dog over a style"...……. eh?"

Fort William - first league win in 882 days
Whew! Caleyboy, not a very positive attitude. Our boys are playing for the Fort and all fans should encourage them or other smaller teams to forge on, always trying; whether to improve or win matches it makes no difference. How do young players get experience if they aren't playing games anywhere they can get the nod knowing that our team is encouraging them.?

Cost of Football
And often fans go to a game with studied boredom in their sights but know that one or two great pieces of skill, or a great goal, will have their emotions stirring so hard that the "Ooh what a great game " factor seems to overwhelm them and thus they go to the next game ,,etc. Especially when there is nothing else for them to do on a Saturday afternoon except listen to the wife bawling.."Henry, the lawn badly needs cutting, cherub".

Though I had to scart around trying to find the correct link to open it up. Kept at it and finally found it though - with a sigh of relief I may say...…… podcast perseverance pays off proudly, Percy.

And it's valuable experience for the younger and/or newbies on our teams. Deffo not to be sneezed at....especially if we can win aplenty!!

I get that to post negative comments after a game like that is counter-productive , and some. Emphasize the positive and inspire the fans etc. If the players do not perform and lose a game then that alone , in their present euphoria, will teach them that success follows constant application and dedication. I, e hard works, dearies. There you go for the youngsters on the team. Stay positive and work hard.

Cost of Football
Compare that to ice hockey in the National Hockey League in Canada and the U.S .This is the premier league of ice hockey and the money poured into it is immense. I have read that tickets can easily cost well over $100 per game (at 1.56 dollars to the pound) I have yet to verify that though and crowds at the Vancouver stadium are rarely less then 18,000 t0 23,000 fans .For that they demand very fit and highly skilled players and those who don't, or can't, perform soon languish elsewhere....either in the minor leagues or just out. The game is very fast and skilled and expectations of quality performances is very high so generally speaking the players realise what a great career they can have and on balance work very hard to perform and succeed. However ownership of the franchises are usually by very wealthy individuals and money never seems to be an object so that does make a difference doesn't it?

NoS Cup v Clach
True. Every game brings something in the door even if it's a diddy game in the eyes of some fans. . And provides entertainment for those who are not able to get to Inverness. And, of course can provide an opportunity for the younger players or newbies to the club to get experience and shine.

I think I recall some fans putting MCart down but, from my perspective, he seems to have been an excellent signing for ICT for a considerable time really. In that vein of thought surely he can only be expected to get better and better; with encouragement; not the opposite though. The younger the player the more encouragement is needed because he does not have the past experience to allow him to successfully assess his own capabilities. So cut him some slack , praise his good moves and watch him blossom into Bobby Bolt (centre half for Caley when I was a wee boy.Ha!)

All in all. this podcast thing is moving right along and even if I live 5000 miles away I think it has a terrific future, Thanks guys, ...............S. P.

Not possible Danylo. I am not a member of Facebook. Nor do I have a cell(mobile) phone because "old codgers" don't need one -- we older folks just watch the younger folks wasting their time on phone call after phone call whilst we older and wiser guys just watch the girls go by. My wife has had a few mobiles but they have conked out, one by one. Maybe these poor folks need to spend big on a Huwawie one. I'm a canny Scotsman so I view all this as a needless waste. Now I will leave the final word to IHE...
