    I post as sophia on P & B.
  2. Quite possibly and you would like to think that he has but that was the reason why Aberdeen binned him. The same with players like Andy Bagshaw as well.
  3. His sttitude at Aberdeen got him thrown on the scrap heap.
  4. Indeed. Utterly disgraceful that a player is thinking about bettering himself financially. I am outraged! :irritated:
  5. Adams took over the only full time team in SFL2 whilst they were at the top end of the table, possibly even top, and got them promoted. That was the bare minimum he should have done. Aside from the Cup run County have been well down the league apart from maybe one 5th placed finish last season. Even this season, when he left, they were about 8th and this was despite big investment in getting players in to the club. Yes the Cup run has been fantastic for them but overall they haven't really moved forward in terms of where they are in the league.
  6. Whilst I agree with a bigger league I don't think you can point towards the Ayr v Hibs result last night as some kind of proof for it working. We destroyed Stirling a few seasons back when the teams were in similar positions (league wise). Will be interesting what that slimey goon Doncaster has to say. Bit disappointed that the other teams against the proposals haven't come out and backed up TB so far.
  7. Doubt it. No one outside of Scotland really cares about Scottish football and by that I mean fans of Italian clubs etc not ICT fans living in another country. That said this article is interesting reading... http://arabtrust.co.uk/current/?454-deportivo-fans-opinion-of-the-spl
  8. Translation: Rangers and Celtic don't like it because this means they will play each other less over the course of a season.

    Kieron or Nathan?
  10. Yup, will just need to see what happens.
  11. Hibs supporting friend of mine had a look at some of the Hibs message boards. Apparently some of the people "in the know" on there claim he is having a medical with Hibs today.
  12. I think around ?200k - ?250k would be the best we could hope for him to be honest. Would be a cracking deal if we could get that kind of cash in.

Or Dundee. 40 fans was it last time they were up?
  14. For a player with about 5 months left on his current deal? What would you describe as a decent fee for Rooney considering the circumstances? I think we'd do well to get ?200k for him sadly.

Revenue for Cup fixtures is shared is not?
  16. ?500k for Rooney?! Come off it!

But there's next to no rivalry between ICT and Elgin though. Saturdays game was only big for one set of fans and it wasn't ICTs hence the poor turnout from our side. It would have been great to see more folk along (I didn't manage myself incidentally) but the game just didn't mean as much to fans of ICT as it did to Elgin supporters.

  19. As Joe says its the Big Three in Portugal but I don't know if they get the lions share of the TV money. It wouldn't surprise me. There is an interview with Juan Carlos Garrido in 4-4-2 where he says that (Real) Madrid and Barcelona get the majority of the Spanish TV money so it could be possible that is applicable in Portugal but I don't know for certain.
  20. I think it would especially if we continue with the CIS Insurance Cup and Scottish Cup. The Portuguese League has a top division with 16 teams who compete in two cup competitions and that seems to work. Could be possible but it is quite a simplistic comparison there. Could be other issues that I'm not aware of.
  21. Yup as mentioned here: Earlier post He seemed to try and knee it back to Esson but obviously didn't get enough power behind the ball. Luckily Esson was quick off his line to sort things out. He really has saved us a lot over the last few games.

In the interests of fairness fair play to Neil Lennon to win the game yesterday. Must say I didn't see a Celtic win at Ibrox yesterday and certainly didn't see Samaras scoring two goals!
  23. Except it actually wasn't. ZING!
  24. He was out of the dugout on several occasions yesterday.
  25. In fairness the two lads from the police seemed to be fine it was the two twatty stewards that were the problem. In the end they buggered off and we were left alone for most of the second half. Hilarious attempts to get IHE thrown out. In fact the police said to one of the guys they don't have a problem with us standing as they could see we weren't any trouble but they were being made to act by the stewards / match commander. As Naelifts said, much like the Hibs stewards, these lads will do f'ck all when the Old Firm come. They just want them in and out with the minimum of fuss which means they can do as they please but when a smaller support comes calling then they can go all GI Joe. Pathetic.
