Yes and no. Whilst they aren't at the same level you can only compare them with the stats available to you. At the end of the day strikers are judged on goals. Was Bryan Prunty a better striker than say Iain Stewart because he scored a goal at Ibrox whislt Stewie bagged goals at Ochilview? I don't know. Did Schumacher race at Golspie? I would have gone to see him if he did...
  2. Great stuff B)

Just want to make sure I have this right - are you likening running about at a high physical tempo for 90 minutes to sitting at a desk for 35 hours a week?!

Very interesting reading Bronson - clearly shows that Foran and Rooney are our most successful partnership of recent times. Let's hope they keep it up!

Partick will get rogered by Dundee good and hard. Thistle are already into end of season mode and have nothing to play for.

Not really forgetting anyone but I think those 3 games are the biggest ones we face in the run in. Morton will be damn tough also as they are fighting for their lives just like Raith were today. It's nerve racking beyond belief and there is no way I can take more last day drama again
  8. Eh? Save your money for the next ICT game be it for an extra beer pre match or getting the train down the road. Sod going Dingwall unless you really, REALLY have to

Fingers crossed but we are going into a very testing stage of the season. QotS (A) and Dunfermline (H) could be tricky but one game that might surprise us is the game against Ayr (A). Up until today they have been on a cracking run and Somerset will be a tough place to go and get 3 points. We're in a great position but we need to keep the run going. Hopefully the lads can do it

Not that often really to be fair. He was crowded out quite a lot today. I think you are being very harsh on Sanchez. Some games he has been excellent this season whilst in others he hasn't been so great but I don't think many of our guys can say they have been consistently good week in, week out.

He wasn't the only one who got a "huge rise"...

lol If the criteria for a poor performance is missing the target twice in what, a 10 minute sub appearance, then a lot more ICT players would be getting hammered week in, week out on this forum for the number of chances theyf ail to convert in 90 minutes on the pitch. Yes he missed an easy chance towards end but both Hayes and Foran had easy chances too. At the end of the day it doesn't matter. What is important is getting set for the next game ahead of us as we move into the business end of the season. Christ am I actually being positive for once!?

I need to finalise my separation from Ian Black first.

Hayes missed an open goal too. I think I'll go and start a thread slagging him off...

Alex MacLeod will be raging when he sees this thread but I have to agree - I am not really sure what the point in the thread is either. We are about to go into the toughest part of the season and we are slating one of the players who we might well need to call upon during this intensive run in. FWIW I don't think Stratford is great but I don't think he is awful. If he plays I'll support him. That's it really. If he fails at being a footballer he can just go and model for Abercrombie & Fitch.
  16. Contact the club as they might have some leftover.
  17. Excellent stuff. Regarding the Foran incident now that the appeal has been dismissed can the footage be included or does it have to stay out altogether?
  18. Could this thread come back to bite a few people? Let's hope not but we have some tough games to go before the end of the season. We need to keep this excellent run going
  19. As it stands I am screwed. No trains, no buses from Aberdeen to Inverness. Maybe I could fly?

I moved it on to P & B but no one really fell for it. When I first read it I was quite worried until I realised what day it is.
  21. I think my signature, unless it has been changed, says it all about one particular poster
  22. Provided there are no extreme weather conditions I should be there. I actually thought we were playing QotS for some reason.
  23. Pretty much my thoughts as well. I think wilsononourwing should be credited for turning our season around!
  24. I bet it was TJE who wrote that.
  25. He's a greeting faced bag of soak. Happy to take the plaudits when County are doing well but spits the dummy when things don't go his way. GIRUH! :D
