A sub forum was set up for Section G / Singing Section style posts but it was removed. I think it was either hardly used by those who had demanded it. Was a couple of years ago in fairness.
  2. I have always found the staff in the shop to be really helpful. I remember buying a strip a few years back and I asked if I got discount on it as a ST holder. The girl I spoke to said she didn't think so but would provide the P & P for free which essentially equated to a 10% discount anyway. Very nice of her.

My personal feeling is that the site goes hand in hand with how the club are doing. We do well we get lots of positive posts and every one is happy. However we have been on a sustained downturn and as a result posting has generally been more on the negative side and emotions often boil over and things get out of hand. If we start going on a good run again I think you will find the forum change again. What do site users want from the forum and site in the future? Some suggestions might not be feasible but I am sure they will be considered if they are practical. I liked the idea of the "I Like" thing from Facebook. Maybe work that with reputation points or something along those lines?
  4. Doesn't matter who Scotland get in. They'll still be pich.

Robson went to Dundee United for about ?60k if I mind right.
  6. Not bothering with this one as I'd rather play my Sunday League game but will be watching it on BBC Alba. Will Radio Scotland have commentary on the game?

A mate of mine went to the Emirates Cup and said that the stadium is incredible but the atmosphere was pretty poor. But in fairness that was for a pre season friendly.

If possible try and get to a Stoke game. Apparently their ground has a fantastic atmosphere.
  9. Obviously we have to look at taking three points from every game we go into. However, I think we will collect the following: 28/11/2009 - Partick Thistle - Inverness CT 1 point 05/12/2009 - Queen of the South - Inverness CT 1 point 12/12/2009 - Inverness CT - Raith Rovers 3 points 19/12/2009 - Dunfermline - Inverness CT 1 point 26/12/2009 - Inverness CT - Dundee 1 point 02/01/2010 - Inverness CT - Ross County 1 point I hope the guys make me eat those words before anyone jumps on my pessimism!
  10. Some people have very odd ideas of what a hopeless performance is. I know I can be negative a lot of the time but I think some people are far to quick to criticise and slate the players at times.
  11. Scotland - :dancing03:

    "Let's all be negative!"
  13. I'll be writing the match report later on but in summary a deserved win against an Airdrie side who looked pretty tidy in places. Good counter attacking goal from Juanjo to open the scoring and Odihambos strike was awesome. Forans miss was hysterical, the attendance shocking, atmosphere and negativity in the stands an absolute disgrace and that wee kid with the horn was an nutjob :dancing03: Typical ICT performance from the last couple of weeks really.
  14. I think Tokely stands a better chance than Foran.
  15. Glad you agree with me regarding TJEs problem
  16. Indeed. Over 7 years of course which you fail to mention. TJE has posted more in this thread than I have on OTB in the last year. Looking at the stats I have posted 10 times in the last 2 years there.
  17. Nothing has been body swerved. It's been debated on here numerous times. Given how frequently you are on here I am sure you can find it pretty easily. Or are you just scouring this site for information before going on to P & B then starting a thread saying "I heard that" and then pass off what you read on here as your "source" like you usually do?
  18. Is TJE still posting on here? Maybe if he paid more attention to Ross County instead of posting about ICT he wouldn't have had to pull the plug on his own website
  19. Back again? You just can't keep yourself off ICT topics on here (obviously) and on P & B.
  20. That's very kind of you to say that. Thanks.
  21. No, not just now. Why do you ask?
  22. This thread is a beauty so far - keep these selections coming! After getting a pasting from the fans in the past for playing 1 man up front what do a lot of these suggestions incorporate? Yep - 1 up front. Abolsute belter! Dead Ball Specilaist has a good team there I reckon. I think getting McBain back into the side is a decent shout. He is good at retaining the ball and a better option in the middle than Duncan. I also agree with Starchief about the lack of a creative / passing CM - something we both talked about over the summer IIRC! No players like Black or Rankin to spark something in the middle of the park. Maybe Sanchez could be tried there and see how he goes? Better than having him out wide anyway.
  23. Very little but you were talking about these two players Butcher mentioned and one of them was Sanchez so I don't know why you're suddenly pulling other players into the argument to try and prove you are right about Sanchez who is anything but "absolutely awful" as you put it. But if you want my opinions of the other players: Bulvitus - a far less composed and well drilled Dods. He does the simple punt the ball to safety but his positioning is weak and he often gets caught on the ball. Barrowman - I think Barrowman would be a decent signing for us if we actually played him in the same manner that County did which is why he was so productive. Not once have we utilised Barrowman in the right manner since we signed him. Cox - Average. Started well but seems to have faded somewhat. Still an okay substitute. Eagle, Stratford and Djebi Zadi - Don't really reate them. But as I say none of these players and their abilities are of any relevance to your point about Sanchez. Our back 4 hasn't been good for some time now and the club gave serious financial backing last season in the SPL to try and secure our place in the top flight. But you need to face facts - hardly any team in Scotland is paying money for players these days aside from the Old Firm and Dundee. Even upper half SPL teams are signing players on free transfers. If these teams are doing it how do you therefore expect ICT to "stop signing freebies"? If only football was that simple eh? I've seen a lot worse than that but then again I have been able to accept the fact that ICT aren't that good, weren't really in with a realistic shout of the title and that Ross County are simply better than us as things currently stand. I think when you step back and take a realistic overview of everything that's going on with ICT at the minute you'll realise that we simply aren't up to scratch just now and it's better to accept that than have lofty expectations that result in you being disappointed. I never said you shouldn't be allowed to say anything. Oh - ordasity? :D
  24. The Jailender needs to decide if he supports ICT or County. He seems to have an unhealthy obsession with Inverness.
