Striker pecking order
You've written Sanchez off after one game so you're just as bad! :P I didn't think Rooney had a great game for a striker but in terms of playing a target man style role he did well. As with the majority I would expect to see Foran start most games and I personally liked having Sanchez as a second, "further back" forward but to be honest I would be pretty happy with any of the rest of them partnering Foran.

Good luck with that. Get one of your pals to text you updates on the match while you sit outside the ground :P

That steward was excellent on Saturday. I think once he realised we just wanted a laugh and a song he left us to it unless we overstepped things. For those heading to Dundee you will not get away with standing up as Taysides finest will have you out on your ass if you try and do the same as we did on Saturday. I am sure a number of you won't need to be reminded of the problems we've had at Tannadice in the past.

There already are galleries up from earlier games this season so I guess a Dunfermline album will be up soon enough.

"Poker face" and "Falling in love with you" were great although the latter always goes down well

Last Minute Winners
Again not a winner but it felt like one at the time. Wyness getting 2 goals in the last 3 minutes against Ross County in a New Years Derby game in Inverness after we were 3 - 1 down.

It's nothing to do with alcohol. You can easily get a few drinks in Inverness before going to an ICT game. I think it is, as you say, the ability to group like minded folk together and get a good atmosphere going from that.

I wasn't being serious with the 358 figure. It was 393.

Ticket Availability
Tickets won't be sold out for this one so you can turn up and get one at the gate as you go in with no problems. See the aforementioned link for prices. I come through from Aberdeen for each Home game (apart from midweek Cup games due to work). Been doing it for about 8 years now. I have developed an intense hatred for the Aberdeen - Inverness line.

The Newbies
What are fans early thoughts on the new guys Butcher has brought in? A number of them made their league debuts yesterday and I think some offered some real promise with some maybe needing to improve on a couple of things / play more games until we see the best of them. Bulvitis - seen this guy in two games and I think he looks stronger than Mihadjuks but not so good when it comes to communication as Proctor found out a few times :( Certainly looks like he could form a strong partnership with Munro given time and hopefully Grant will help him through the games as I thought sometimes he "drifted off" a bit. Eagles - linked well at times with Djebi Zadi but looks pretty slow for a winger. Had the chance to send in a couple of good balls yesterday which weren't always great but, again, there seemed to be a degree of promise there if he and DZ can link up like they did on Saturday. Cox - "We all love Cox" covers it quite well. Ian who? Love this guys energy and bite in the tackle. Might not be as creative as Blackie was for us but he can tackle and win the ball which is always a bonus. He has impressed me most since coming in. Stratford - Not sure yet what his best position is. I thought at times he was slightly wasteful with his passing but he covered a lot of ground and didn't go missing when Dunfermline turned up the pressure. Another who will maybe take longer than the others to get settled in. Very handsome. Possibly starred in a Gillette advert previously. Hayes - the opposite of Eagles. Faster but maybe with less skill. Let's morph the two of them! Could be a very useful player to bring on towards the end of the game with the opposition tiring. Hopefully not another Fetai. Sanchez - Juanjo Mk II. First touch with his feet was poor but he was excellent at bringing others into the game, dropping a shoulder and going the other way and playing a neat pass that set up a goal scoring chance. If he can get stuck in a bit more and control throw ins with his feet then he is another one who could do very well for us.

About 358 I think. If you can't get those you end up paying about ?30 for a "Saver Return". I've already got my train tickets for Ayr United and Ross County booked :(

Word(s) of advice - book your travel ahead. Trains from Aberdeen to Glasgow / Edinburgh / Inverness are all pretty cheap if booked in advance as is the Megabus. I book my train tickets for going back to Inverness weeks in advance otherwise it gets to expensive to keep going back. IN one month last season I spent ~ ?120 in train tickets as I couldn't get any of the cheap deals.

- Dear Mr Butcher
Butcher signed Foran, Kerr and Odihambo. The others mentioned, Mihadjuks, Morais, Gatheussi and Byrne (I'm sure there were others I can't mind right now) were brought in by Brewster.- Particks Away Top
I thought their strip from last year was bad but that is even worse.- Proctor
He barely played for Leicester and from what we have seen of him so far he has played in CM and seems to be fitting in very well there. Would be odd to switch his position now.- Proctor
Alex has it spot on with his team I think and after Tokely and Foran come back expect to see them replace Proctor and Rooney respectively. Only possible change could be Stratford at RB instead of Proctor. I hope you are joking. Not meant as a dig but I assume you have seen neither of the Cup games? Cox has really impressed in central midfield with some already saying "Ian who?". Putting him at right back would be ridiculous and a complete waste of his talent.- Livingston FC
As I've said above this was a spurious proposition by McDougall and Rankine who were effectively holding the SFL to ransom over their position. I'm delighted that their attempt at blackmail hasn't worked. I doubt ICT could go to the SFL and say "Look, we had an SPL budget in mind for this season - can we get promoted again?" Can't see that happening.- Livingston FC
They'll be used to that though what with paying SPL wages when they were in the first using other peoples money to do so because they had none of their own. - Dear Mr Butcher
