  1. For me: Cox Tokely Imrie
  2. I appreciated Girls Aloud :)
  3. The more I think about this decision the more I get worked up about it. It is an utter disgrace that the SFL have agreed to this. Livi are a dying animal and should have been put down. Teams like Clyde and Airdrie have had to lose staff to cut their cloth accordingly. Livi piss money away left right and centre, go into administration, face liquidation yet somehow get reprieves from the SFL with no punishment. Needless to say some teams aren't happy with the SFL over Livi (BBC story) but on the bright side they have appointed Gary Bollan as their new manger (BBC story) so relegation is a certainty.
  4. Biology is brilliant. One of the greatest pop songs of the 00's. Just don't play The Promise and I'll be happy. Although by saying that I know what you will play now!
  5. Quite enjoyed their album myself. Saw them in Snafu in Aberdeen about a year ago. Decent. Girls Aloud are a fantastic pop act. Anyone who says otherwise is just wrong. There is no debating this issue. I think we should run out to "Something Kinda Ooh!" or maybe "Long Hot Summer".
  6. What an uninspired and uninpirational reply..... Jyrojets had broken up last I had heard. Dead Or Alive would be an interesting tune to run out to. Caley D do you have anything by Girls Aloud?
  7. Utterly disgraceful decision and yet not surprising in the slightest.
  8. :018: @ Aberdeen!
  9. From the services of those two players about 0 goals I think but as has already been mentioned we spent most of last season either getting rogered or pumping the ball long up front and not in the manner I have talked about where Barrowman might flourish. First game of last season and Tokely fired that brilliant ball across the Aberdeen box and Barrowman popped up to finish. Easy chance yes but that is the player he is - a penalty box striker. And we need to play in a manner that makes the most of his abilities as such a player. If we don't then there is no point in him being on the pitch as he isn't going to get the ball down, speed past one defender, turn another inside out and then rifle it home like say Dargo might have done.
  10. RiG replied to CaleyD's topic in Caley Thistle
I would say that the vast majority of football songs are simply variations on each other based on clubs / players etc. There isn't a lot of original material out there when it comes to football chants.
  11. Not in the slightest! Some clubs take over the wages, or maybe a percentage or none at all. Same with some transfers. Look at Fowler when he moved to Man City from Leeds - he was still getting paid by Leeds even after he had left
  12. Hence my longing for a creative midfielder in the mould of Black or Rankin to slip Barrowman a wee through ball that sees him run off his last man and fire home. Obviously I don't expect him to run half the length of the pitch like Torres more someone like Boyd who seems to live off wee balls played to him just inside / outside the box. And that is the problem I feel - no one in the centre of the pitch can play that killer pass in the final third to allow someone like Barrowman to flourish.
  13. You never miss a chance to stick the boot in
  14. Moving Barrowman out on loan wouldn't free up his wages. Can't think of many SFL clubs willing to part with ?1,600 a week. We might save a small amount per week if he were too move. Still think he could be decent if we change our style to suit him. If we don't then there is no point in him featuring in the team.
  15. Is there a player list to look at before signing up?
  16. I just don't think a lot of fans cared about last night. I certainly didn't. It was only a friendly after all. The only games that matter just now are the upcoming league games and of course these Cup ones before hand. A friendly against Dundee United is hardly going to provoke a lot of debate.
  17. Put towards his outstanding rent for his executive Edinburgh flat more than likley. Rumours are that Massolini has refused the deal and has claimed he has money to put into the club himself.
  18. *Massone poised to miss deadline* This guy is an utter balloon No. The time to run the business was when you took it over last summer. You then started missing payments to players, companies and rent. That was definitely the time to start doing something about it! To then go on and miss more payments to players, not pay more rent and bills (electricity being one example recently) and end up in this sorry state then claim now is the time to start tunning the club is incomprehensible. This charlatan has shown next to no interest in running Livingston. This guy is in his own little world. The Livi fans hate him and want him out, he has been banned from posting on their forum and what they want is perfectly clear yet he still persists in hanging around like a bad smell and is on the verge of driving the club he claims to work so hard for into the ground. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the Livi fans a bit. Surely he would rather take ?25,000 and leave than get nothing and consign Livingston to the history books.
  19. Surely the guy who said "Bring back Brewster!" was joking? He can't have been serious!
  20. I think you are very wrong with this comment. How exactly? Having terracing didn't exactly create an electric atmosphere when we were last in SFL1.
  21. In fairness our ground still is one no one wants to come too but that is mainly because it is "too far away."
  22. First off I had forgotten I had already replied to this quoted post of yours earlier on Basically, we had posters a while back talking about ICT pushing for a top 6 spot as it was almost a certainty now some posters are saying we have no divine right to beat Montrose. The latter is quite correct but I find it interesting as to why we have no deivine right to beat Montrose but seemed to have some divine right to be in the SPL and in the top 6. It has absolutely nothing to do with that I can assure you! Nor is it to do with anything anyone shouted on Saturday in the stands. It's exclusively based on reading some of the posts on this forum over the years.
  23. Not aimed at anyone. I just find it an interesting switcharound. The SFL1 forum is rubbish. Populated by idiotic Dundee fans and general morons. I posted that due to an injury sustained by Abidal in training that Djebi Zadi was getting a France call up. People actually believed it.
  24. Given the game was still ongoing at 5:30 I find this hard to believe. Not aimed at you are anyone in particular at all more at the attitude that seemed to develop within the supporters on here whilst we were in the SPL which was that we were as good as shoes ins for the top 6 and relegation was never a likely scenario.
  25. This thread makes intriguing reading mainly because the posters who are telling folk to "get a grip" so to speak are ones that believed we had some God given right to be challenging for a top 6 spot every season when we were in the SPL.
