Black and Mihadjuks as well of course. Personally I disagree with a few other points you made Bronson but I must also admit to agreeing with a fair bit of what you say also. Whilst I think Dundee will still win the league I think we will be closer than we would have been given the state of the squad a couple of weeks ago. I am also very happy with the areas Butcher is reported to be looking at strengthening as well. He seems to identified the poisitons that need working on and where new faces are needed and this is very welcome indeed. If / when we get boys in to fill in the final few pieces of the jigsaw who knows what might happen. As I say, right now I think Dundee have the edge but plenty of time to get some more faces in and then who knows what might come about from it. One thing for sure is I can't wait for the football to start again. I am eager to see how we fare in this league. Bring it on :P

The strips looked very smart Joe. Saw you guys go out on penalties at the Quarter Final stage of the Quaich. Hard luck. We had a tough group with Muir of Ord and Milne High dominating proceedings. MH went through as group winners after we held Muir of Ord to a draw in the 2nd last game. Ended up with 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses and went into the Toilet Bowl where we swept through to the final defeating Forres in a 4 - 1 win ( name on the Highland League website and all :P ). Absolute cracker of a day to be playing football as well. Made the early start from Aberdeen worthwhile.

Oddly the P & J reports Cox today as being a "promising forward". I would love it if we somehow managed to get Morais back in. Think he would be a quality addition to the team.

Must admit I am not exactly sure but a lot of Livi fans have rolled over far too often in the past as their club lurches from one catastrophe to another. Basically I feel they could stand up for themselves more but as you say at the end of the day fans hold little sway in the goings on higher up the food chain. They seem to be very easily taken for a ride, more so than fans of other clubs. It's only now that the majority are starting to see through Massolini and the rubbish he spouts whilst we have been saying it for ages. It's the signings of the divisions top striker in Griffiths and (possibly) Particks main midfield man Harkins that is causing people to sit up and take note and be very wary of Dundee.

We played Elgin in a friendly after they joined the SFL but not in a competitive game AFAIK.

Interesting given Bennett is aiming for a squad of 18 Kencar - I completely forgot we had Odihambo signed up. Happy with those 4 (Odihambo, Foran, Barrowman and Rooney up front). Granted they didn't find the net regularly in the SPL we didn't often provide them with the chances they neded to score goals. I am hopeful we can pick someone up from somewhere to replace Morais / Wilson and a Rankin style player in the middle to offer a threat going forward.

Indeed. Dundee will be raging at having to console themselves with Harkins and Griffiths. Hope we follow this one up with a couple of creative midfielders and perhaps another striker.
