  1. Apparently Makalamity was subbed at half time
  2. TWS texted me at half time to say we are playing okay. Sounds like we could be having a repeat of the opening day win at Aberdeen here. Well done lads. Keep it up!

    lol
  4. Bingo! Of the promoted teams from recent seasons ICT have, if anything, gone backwards or, at best, remained stagnant. Meanwhile, Falkirk and St. Mirren press ahead with no stadiums, massively increased wage and transfer budgets and are assembling good squads - out bidding us for players and offering some of ours better contracts so they decide to leave. I've said this before but we seem to appear happy where we are and don't seem to be making any progress at moving forward. Other teams have been striving to move forward on and off the pitch and they are now reaping the rewards. It would take a very head strong ICT fan not to say they are a tad jealous of St. Mirren getting their new stadium and debt wiped out come January.
  5. Aberdeen were after Foran but 1) couldn't afford him and 2) thought he wasn't worth taking a risk on.
  6. One of the few!
  7. I've heard similar stories too. Ian Black told me about it when he came through to Aberdeen last week to go bowling with me down at Sunset Boulevard. He was a bit bummed out at not going to the Falkirk game so I bought him a Happy Meal to try and lift his spirits but it didn't work. He perked up when I let him beat me at Crazy Golf though

Kencar, can you update these states please?
  9. And there is the alleged problem of a lack of respect for someone who turned his back on the club only a couple of seasons ago. It has been hypothesised that many of the squad simply do not carry any form of respect for Brewster whatsoever.
  10. Yup, fair points there actually. Playing for pride I guess now if we have any left.
  11. I'm not a big Brewster fan but did anyone honestly see us getting anything from this game?
  12. Apparently it's a load of guff!
  13. According to someone on P & B Bobby Mann is the new assistant manager
  14. Not sure if it would be much use but perhaps folk could order stuff in the Zoo store that it won't have and ICT can then process the order and have it posted it from the stadium so while shelf space might not be expansive at least people will still have the full selection of ICT merchandise.
  15. Maybe the club can send players to the store to sign autographs and pose for photos in the run up to Christmas? Gets more fans along = more nagging kids wanting a strip = more cash
  16. Fantastic news - delighted to hear this No one will bother their backside to go out to the stadium most of the time unless it is for a game so a city centre presence is, as mentioned, vital in the run up to Christmas. Well done ICT! Ian Black looks like a wee scamp who has popped ino to kick a ball about and then leave without buying anything. Just like I used to do in Coutts (spelling?) :thumb04:
  17. Take it you missed the game v Celtic where he forced Boruc into a stunning save in the first half?
  18. RiG replied to tm4tj's topic in Caley Thistle
Are you saying that if people don't sing then you will boo the players instead?
  19. I think you are correct Alex. Make no mistake it would be a disaster if ICT got relegated and we would seriously struggle to get back. I always laugh at those saying they want to return to SFL1. The SPL might be getting somewhat mundane now after 4/5 seasons but it is the ONLY place to be in Scottish Football. Especially for a team like ICT.
  20. I think his record stood something along the lines of W1 D1 L1 for every three games so quite mixed at times though we did develop that fantastic Away record under Brewster.
  21. Surviving relegation is obviously our priority. Anything else, Cup runs included, is a bonus. Interesting to see a huge turn around now in the fans expectations when before it was that we should be aiming for Top 6 minimum
  22. I agree with TM4TJ - sure it would be nice to do well in the League Cup for the SPL is our bread and butter and that's where we should be focused on. If we won the League Cup but got relegated would people want Brewster sacked or be happy to keep him? I am not his biggest fan but I'd rather see us doing it in the league over the course of a season than have a nice wee Cup run.
  23. Should we? Falkirk are, like it or not, a bigger club than ICT. Better crowds, finances, budgets for wages and transfers as well as a much better stadium. Closely matched perhaps but I certainly don't think we should be looking at them as easily disposable.
  24. I'll be playing football at Strikers
  25. RiG replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Pretty much it Alex. I asked Rangers and was told that they had their own band to make a noise for the Home fans and that we wouldn't be allowed to take drums in. You can certainly try again but I don't recall any success in the past.
