  1. Makalamity himself is Belgian but his parents are from Congo.

Did you see some of the back passes he had to deal with on Saturday? He had one bad kick when under no pressure but the rest were all good and had good distance on them. Unlike Makalamity. You can't have been watching much of the game then as he came and claimed the ball on a good few occasions. As for the defence looking at him in despair (despare :015:) that's simply not true. If I was Ike I would have lambasted the defence for the reason pointed out above - he had to deal with some shocking passes back to him and Proctor gave the ball away cheaply in defence resulting in unnecessary pressure on the back line.. As for those easy saves he had to make with shots right at him you try telling Zibi how easy it is to save a shot that comes right at you in less than ideal conditions. It's not as easy as you might make out. It should be routine but we all kow how easily a keeper can slip up with run of the mill saves.

McGeady regularly switches sides during games. Depends who Celtic have in their pool on match where he might start but chances are you'll see him on either side during Sunday.
  4. You wouldn't happen to know an Ali Dia would you now?

I think a lot of the people who were criticised for slagging Fraser were in Section G. Now, after some praise, they seem to be *in favour* again.

I think I'd rather shale some salt into a cut than Deep Heat!

I'd rather have Proctor there. He might be able to match him for pace. Furthermore who says McGeady will start on the left for Celtic? Might see him switch over the other side at some point in the game.
  8. Did you drink more alcohol after these victories than three straight defeats? No Were you more affectionate to your Partner or someone else's Partner after wins rather than losses? No Did you become inspired and climb 3 Munros rather than three Corbetts? No Did you stop moaning? No Did you cheer more when attending games? No Did you sleep better? No Did you think Chick Young was 'nae bad' or that he was almost human? No Did life pick up and suddenly Craig Brewster was a really good choice as Manager? No Were you more productive at work? No Did you realise IHE as the clubs Pychologist was having a positive effect on Marius? No Did you think Rankin would pull his finger out and start playing good football again? Yes

A fair few of the folks in Section E taught the lads in Section G everything they know :011: Good to hear they are enjoying our old drums too :004:

You should just watch the BBC highlights on the net if you can. The Scotsport programme wouldn't look out of place on an episode of Playdays.

Just watched the highlights on the BBC - his saves from Flethcer and Kerr were both excellent.

Lone strikers don't need to have pace so long as they are ably supported by the midfield both from the centre and the wide areas with one of the left or right sided wide men tucking in to act as a secondary forward. Rankin I felt did this well by supporting from midfield superbly and I agree I thought he was perhaps a good candidate for MotM. I watched the BBC highlights and they miss out his 2 chances in the 2nd half.

I was in Section E of the North Haybarn and heard very little all game. I actually nodded off at one point. I did hear a few disconcerning grumbles after Frasers one bad kick of the day. I thought the drummers were very quiet.
  14. The Sunday Mail is an embarrassing publication and mistakes like that only serve to cement that opinion.

You know me Mee, I personally care not a jot what people think of me on here. It's only a message board after all. But I digress. Well done again to Black (that tackle not withstanding). He's really turned in some good performances even before that episode during/after the Well game. Maybe he can have a word with Pedz about his continuing mouthing off to officials?

I thought the stand(s) were quiet as always. We should get a singing section on the go.......

    3 - 0 against Falkirk!

BBC site lists only McGuire as being booked from yesterday.

His command of his box was excellent and good to see his kicking back to normal. Hopefully he told the people giving him stick the other week to ram it after yesterdays display. Well done Ike!

In Fairness Mee is onto something there with regards to grudges. Black did have a pretty nasty challenge when he went in two footed and I was surprised to see him walk away without a booking. He has really stepped up with regards to his behaviour on the pitch. A great way to stick 2 fingers back at those who questioned him last season. Well done Ian!

Sadly I'll miss it due to playing in a game myself but hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves. No reason why we can't get a result. St. Mirren did really well yesterday by all accounts so no reason why we can't get at least a draw.
  22. Well done lads. Solid performance indeed. Surprised how well out counter attacking worked at times but then again, by the mid way point of the 2nd half, Hibs had to go for it so they were more open at the back. How many fouls did Hogg get away with by the way? I thought Fraser was good yesterday, kicking spot on bar one iffy clearance. Wasn't helped by some ridiculous back passes from the team. Can't agree with Proctor being as good as some are making out. He seemed to get caught out on a few occasions at the back but on the whole he was good. Other than that I agree with Hislopsoffsideagains ratings. I thought McGuire did well as did Ranking and Black and Niculae took his goals well. Rankin had a cracking shot in the 2nd half that came oh so close to going in and we had other chances to make it 3 or 4 nil though that might have been a bit harsh on Hibs(/Brazil). Lets keep it going for the next few games lads! :003:
  23. But for how long though? Levein wasn't at Raith overly long before he left for United.
  24. :015: Just had a thought, is CCC expecting? Is this why you are doing it Gringo Jnr? :004:
  25. Goneon trial at Saint Johnstone supposedly.
