I don't think it had too much of an effect really to be honest but would like to have seen the initiative combined with reduced prices. It doesn't bother me to be honest. I'd be glad if these people that did come along today because of this offer got ST of Half Season books for next season and swelled the crowd a bit more.
  2. Good for them. I have not said that you are talking crap. I am saying that I think you (and these other people) are grasping at straws if you need to rely on such a weak claim as that to try and get a penalty. Maybe you'll get to see for yourself on the TV however :003:
  3. Barry Wilson collected the ball at the byeline and drove towards goal, the Pars defender grabbed hold of his shirt and didn't let go, this was outside the box, this continued until he was inside the box at which point he fell to the ground. No idea what this 2nd foul could have been but I think the phrase that comes to mind is "grasping at straws".
  4. I know but it's very harsh to suggest that as soon as Caff comes into the team that he is the (hypothetical) reason behind the defeat. He made some great challenges in the game.
  5. So was "ours".

I never saw him make any kind of reaction. Mainly because he had just been stamped on and was in no way getting up from it!

There's other threads for that. This thread is for showing our disgust at that ned fanny :003:
  8. Some ridiculous conclusions being reached by some people here. Caff was fine. Read the game well and defended well when he needed to. We started okay but Dunfermline must have gotten their arses felt by their manager at half time because they came right at us and dominated the rest of the game. The first Pars goal came from a carving run down the left and Glass fired in just in front of goal. The 2nd (IIRC) came after a bit of a scramble in the box. The 3rd was a penalty which I am not convinced about but it made no difference really. We weren't going to win that game. Other talking points: 1) Penalty for Wilson - nope. The foul took place outside the box = free kick 2) MacManus is a knobber 3) So is De Vries I don't blame CC or the players. Dunfermline just wanted it more and were the better team and got what they deserved.

Well done to Blackie for not reacting to MacManus' piece of thuggery this afternoon :008:

Indeed. I found some of these crackers on the old Ian Black thread post Falkirk. I expect a friend to be along soon...

Don't expect any atmosphere. There is nothing to play for now so the fans will hardly be excited. If you want any kind of atmosphere go in the Falkirk end. Away crowds are always noisier than Home ones,
  13. ICT and Dunfermline have served up the 2 worst games of the campaign so far with only the worlds worst goal getting us a win in the earlier home fixture. This game is far from a guaranteed Home win.
  14. I work as a hitman. The hours are a bit rubbish but the pay is good.
  15. No sarcasm missed. Maybe people read it and paid no regards to it? :003:

If they are creating some kind of problem or safety issue inside the ground then the police will need to get involved. The Rangers fans then get more aggressive at the police getting involved, incident escalates until batons are drawn. Seem fair enough? ( Hypothetical scenario by the way).
  17. Indeed. Eto'o has got nothing on McSwegan and Ronaldinho can only dream of the ball control that Rory possesses.
  18. Indeed but what I am getting at is people shouldn't come on here after the game if it hasn't worked and slate the club when there are other factors that saw the Killie game get such an inflated crowd. That said if ours does increase significantly then we can postulate over what kind of crowds we might get for future games where a reduced ticket price is in operation.
  19. Aye I did see that in the news. I am going to this one because I never go to the games at Parkhead or Ibrox so I can afford this one. I expect a game to rival the Barca v Madrid game last weekend otherwise I will not be getting a season ticket next season.
  20. Take out Rory and stick Rankin in there with Johnny boy dropping to midfield and you've got yourself a deal. Going to the game?
  21. RiG replied to Harry Chibber's topic in General Football
    Why don't they deserve it?
  22. Gary Kenneth! :015: :015: :015:
  23. But it would be unfair to draw serious comparisons with the Killie promotion as they also halved their prices. We shall see though.
  24. :015: x a lot at the doubting comment!
  25. Like...?
