  1. And just what would this corner have gotten us? You can't say we were robbed because we didn't get a corner. It seemed to take an age to hit the back of the net. I thought it had gone wide at first. What a great little touch it was. If he had scored with that shot earlier Quique Sánchez Flores would have been on the phone to Charlie offering us Silva in a swap deal. Hart impressed me as well. I sometimes wonder if a move to central midfield might be a good idea to accommodate him and Wilson in the same team. Richie is very strong in the tackle and seems to have endless energy. He was buzzing all over the place yesterday winning the ball back. A very good showing. All in all the team done well. There were good play, there were mistakes but we stopped Falkirk from playing their game and made more of the chances. The one thing that I noted though was the pitch. It looked really good but the ball just didnt seem to do what it should. Seemed to be a lot of bawbled balls. The bounces didnt go where they were expected and the ball seemed to stick to the ground at times. Referee was excellent. When there was a head knock he halted play right away if the players didn't get up so I've no idea why you think he allowed play to go on. His assistant on the stand side on the other hand... Agree with most of that aside from the Hart and MotM but Caff also did very well. We were lucky to get the draw because we simply couldn't finish. Doesn't matter if we have 5 times more shots than Falkirk, if we can't stick it in the net then we don't deserve anything. Luckily we found a way through at the end. Kasper was great crack. He also had a good laugh when we started singing about Danish Bacon (Yummy yum yum!) and at the end he gave us the thumbs up. Good banter with him indeed :003:
  2. That's probably because Cowie is a central midfielder and not a right winger like Barry.
  3. :015:
  4. Some really excellent posts in this thread.
  5. Some more:
  6. As with Libero that's pretty much what I think as well :003:
  7. She'd get it. Twice if she was lucky. EDIT: I've just realised who it is! It's Ceilidh Watson from MFR - and Mannies local apparently. Here are some more pictures from the new strip shoot. I have doubts if she was wearing anything other than the top! :010:

  9. Glad you agree :011:
  10. Been doing that one for years :011:
  11. No. They have still to start work on their new ground so they have another season at Love St. yet thankfully as it's a great ground.
  12. No idea but it has been suggested that this would avoid conflict with the FA Cup final! :017:
  13. Good call there as usual! :003: Looks like I made a good call with Dunfermline returning to Inverness :003:
  14. Yup so that's: 21st April - ICT v Motherwell 28th April - Dundee United v ICT 5th May - Falkirk v ICT 12th May - ICT v Dunfermline 19th May - St. Mirren v ICT (Note this KO is 1pm)
  15. I've a feeling we'll have Dunfermline up in Inverness again but let's be honest - who knows really how the SPL work these things out.
  16. It's made the BBC some 3 days after the story broke. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t..._ct/6479025.stm
  17. No they wouldn't. Read most of the posts and it is the displays against Killie and the Pars that seem to have got to most people. While you could easily say no it doesn't make him a bad manager you could just as easily say it does. Celtic: You could argue that it was his changes that affected the teams set up and lost us the game. Aberdeen: In this game (I assume you mean the one at Pittodrie?) he put Caff on in midfield. You could argue that was the wrong decision when tightening up the defence would have been a better idea rather than play a defender out of position in midfield. We did brilliantly for so long against Celtic but that can be cancelled out by the horrendous performance against Dunfermline which is what CC critics will point towards. He has? We have played a lot of long ball this season from the games I have seen.
  18. Latest from the P & J: Interesting to note Paul Third seriously getting the digs in at ICT here, or is that just me?
  19. From the outset of his appointment I have never been fully convinced that Charlie is the right man for the job but I also didn't think we could get anyone better and he seemed to keep the ship steady. This summer will be a real test for him with losing some real key men. Previous managers have recruited well to replace the likes of Wilson, Wyness and Robson. If CC can replace Dods, Dargo and potentially Hastings then he should be fine. That said I don't like the way, when things go wrong, he seems to shoulder so little of any blame that may be attributable to him. The players will have been hurting enough from some of these defeats without the manager publicly putting the boot in. But I didn't think the performance against Dunfermline warranted such a ferocious attack on the team by the manager.
  20. I noticed they moved a few sections along on Saturday. They do a good job. Shame some of them don't go to Away games for extra vocal support.
  21. Aye, Inverness will be choked full of tractors when we next win the Challenge Cup.
  22. It only takes a game to go back up to 7th. I think there will be a lot of ups and downs before the end of the season.
  23. Agree as well and it's something so many of us have said for so long yet the club seem oblivious to it.

    Dorus

I wouldn't. Although I would like to see Fraser get his kicking sorted out. It was a bit slack to say the least at times! :007:

:017: Good thing he didn't make contact with his original challenge then ergo no sending off for Blackie! :015:
