  1. Good call there as usual! :003: Looks like I made a good call with Dunfermline returning to Inverness :003:
  2. Yup so that's: 21st April - ICT v Motherwell 28th April - Dundee United v ICT 5th May - Falkirk v ICT 12th May - ICT v Dunfermline 19th May - St. Mirren v ICT (Note this KO is 1pm)
  3. I've a feeling we'll have Dunfermline up in Inverness again but let's be honest - who knows really how the SPL work these things out.
  4. It's made the BBC some 3 days after the story broke. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t..._ct/6479025.stm
  5. No they wouldn't. Read most of the posts and it is the displays against Killie and the Pars that seem to have got to most people. While you could easily say no it doesn't make him a bad manager you could just as easily say it does. Celtic: You could argue that it was his changes that affected the teams set up and lost us the game. Aberdeen: In this game (I assume you mean the one at Pittodrie?) he put Caff on in midfield. You could argue that was the wrong decision when tightening up the defence would have been a better idea rather than play a defender out of position in midfield. We did brilliantly for so long against Celtic but that can be cancelled out by the horrendous performance against Dunfermline which is what CC critics will point towards. He has? We have played a lot of long ball this season from the games I have seen.
  6. Latest from the P & J: Interesting to note Paul Third seriously getting the digs in at ICT here, or is that just me?
  7. From the outset of his appointment I have never been fully convinced that Charlie is the right man for the job but I also didn't think we could get anyone better and he seemed to keep the ship steady. This summer will be a real test for him with losing some real key men. Previous managers have recruited well to replace the likes of Wilson, Wyness and Robson. If CC can replace Dods, Dargo and potentially Hastings then he should be fine. That said I don't like the way, when things go wrong, he seems to shoulder so little of any blame that may be attributable to him. The players will have been hurting enough from some of these defeats without the manager publicly putting the boot in. But I didn't think the performance against Dunfermline warranted such a ferocious attack on the team by the manager.
  8. I noticed they moved a few sections along on Saturday. They do a good job. Shame some of them don't go to Away games for extra vocal support.
  9. Aye, Inverness will be choked full of tractors when we next win the Challenge Cup.
  10. It only takes a game to go back up to 7th. I think there will be a lot of ups and downs before the end of the season.
  11. Agree as well and it's something so many of us have said for so long yet the club seem oblivious to it.

I wouldn't. Although I would like to see Fraser get his kicking sorted out. It was a bit slack to say the least at times! :007:

:017: Good thing he didn't make contact with his original challenge then ergo no sending off for Blackie! :015:
  14. Really? The P & J don't normally update their site till after 9 so I will check that out in a bit.
  15. I'm not sure there really is any irony TBH. This thread was always going to start up after the game on Saturday.

That must be a joke surely?
  17. Seems EWS was speaking crap after all :003: I demand he be sold - it is obviously his fault we have lost! In all seriousness I thought Markus looked decent when he had the ball but he seemed to be using his right foot almost all the time whenever he received the ball on the left - was he playing out of position? Certainly started off on the right in games for us when he first arrived. Maybe CC is trying to figure his best position at ICT rather than where he was most effective at the Blue Brazil?
  18. As soon as Killies game plan was worked out by Hibs - punt ball for Naismith to chase - there was only going to be one winner. Well done Hibs! Special mention to Alan Combe - what a muppet! :015:
  19. I think it's bang our of order for Charlie to criticise the players like that. Indeed that was pretty much the same team that came so close to beating Celtic only a few weeks ago and he was praising them to the heavens. Have the same players that did so well under JR and CB suddenly become unfit for purpose under CC?
  20. Just read that and think it was a bit harsh to be honest, our defence wasn't that bad. I think the simple fact is that only one team stood to really get something out of this game should they have won it. That team was Dunfermline and they won it.

Completely shambolic play acting from the c'nt :003:
  22. But what would the penalty have been given for? Shirt pulling (which started outside the box) or Barry being out muscled by the Pars defender i.e. not a foul?

    Free Passes

I don't think it had too much of an effect really to be honest but would like to have seen the initiative combined with reduced prices. It doesn't bother me to be honest. I'd be glad if these people that did come along today because of this offer got ST of Half Season books for next season and swelled the crowd a bit more.
  24. Good for them. I have not said that you are talking crap. I am saying that I think you (and these other people) are grasping at straws if you need to rely on such a weak claim as that to try and get a penalty. Maybe you'll get to see for yourself on the TV however :003:
  25. Barry Wilson collected the ball at the byeline and drove towards goal, the Pars defender grabbed hold of his shirt and didn't let go, this was outside the box, this continued until he was inside the box at which point he fell to the ground. No idea what this 2nd foul could have been but I think the phrase that comes to mind is "grasping at straws".
