  1. Just MacGegor and Machado isn't it?

Appreciate the feedback If anyone else has anything to offer please let us know. Stats aren't for everyone so we try not to be too heavy on that as well as having a mix of positive and negative opinions on all things ICT. I guess it's all about trying to strike a balance where possible. We're trying to see if we can set up some interviews with players past and present as well.
  3. Not your worst suggestion TBF. He was decent for a rank Falkirk side last season and a lot of their fans would have loved him to have signed permanently. I suspect though with Storey signing that probably kills of any chances of further additions to the attack.

Great thanks for letting us know. It's on TuneIn as well though Google Podcasts isn't pulling it through yet. Maybe tomorrow. I use Podcast Addict on my phone to pull in all my podcasts and it's showing there as well. Let us know what you think of the latest episode!

How? It's a limited edition release is it not? It's deliberately intended to not be well stocked like the current home / away tops.

Tonight we recorded the next episode of The Wyness Shuffle podcast. All being well it will be available tomorrow morning. Cheers!
  8. I'd be very surprised if Tansey comes back to us.
  9. Crazy to think that a player becomes more affordable to ICT when he is no longer under contract and won't command a transfer fee.
  10. The highlights don't show it but just before United get the opener a long ball over the top wasn't dealt with by Ridgers / McCart (?). Ridgers started to come for it but then backed away with McCart struggling to make up the lost ground. Donaldson loses Shankland for the second goal far too easily and for the third Tremarco looks like he is standing too far off Shankland and can't get near him to challenge for the cross. For the 4th goal Vincent gets sucked to the ball and lets his man run free. In all instances poor defensive play by us.
  11. A complete and utter dicking. Admirable of our defence to let Shankland score 3 carbon copy goals before Donaldson was easily turned for an excellent 4th. If there was little be positive about last week then we're scrapping the barrel for anything good to take home after that. Eye gauging long balls to White who seldom won a header, had little chances created for him and when an opportunity did come his way he contrived to pull a shot wide from about 3 yards. Robbo seemed to have no idea how to change things but it was telling that the rare time we did fashion a reasonable chance it was when we got the ball on the deck and worked it wide with Walsh. Trafford was garbage and needs benched immediately.
  12. Very surprised and ambivalent about this. I'd imagine that Alan Simpsons bedroom looks like a Jackson Pollock painting right now. Narey sums it up well (as usual). He was really effective playing off the shoulder of the last defender and thrived on some of the gorgeous slide rule passes that Christie would play to him. He's not really had the level of service at the other clubs he's been at since and I can't see who would offer that in this ICT team. Maybe if we still had a Vigurs or a Polworth perhaps but obviously we don't have that any more. Scott Burns is normally spot on so there would seem to be something in this. Wouldn't be disappointed but wouldn't really be jumping for joy at the same time. Awkward for the group of ICT fans who barrack him at Firhill if he does come back
  13. Can't think of a single positive for ICT today. Dundee fully deserved their win. Rock solid at the back and plenty of good attacking play in the first half with McGowan defying his years and abysmal hairline to dominate the middle of the pitch and link well with Nelson and Johnson. Probably should have been up by more than one goal at halftime though I felt we had a couple of decent chances to get on the scoresheet. Second half was just rotten from us with Dundee easily holding us at bay. Meekings looked class. Still can't believe that we didn't get a penalty for what looked to be a clear foul on White but the way we were playing we probably would have missed it. After three rotten performances in the group stage it's hard to argue that we deserved to go through to the next round. Clearly a lot of work still to be done to get the team firing on all cylinders but based on today's match it's hard not to say that Dundee are much better equipped for going up compared to ourselves.
  14. I mind having a drink in one of the pubs in Perth with "Mrs" Black. She got a bottle of Blue WKD and poured it into a wine glass. Classy stuff ?

No bother I've just tried searching for it on Podcast Addict (on Android) and it picks it up so hopefully anyone that uses a Podcast app "aggregator" will also be able to add it to their podcast library.

The podcast should be appearing on places like iTunes and Google podcasts now
  17. Definitely looked like a return to 4231 for me as well. We reacted well to the Raith equaliser and really took control of the game once we got our second. Slack at times but a lot more to be positive about after Tuesdays sluggish affair. Carson looks decent at right back though his positioning in relation to other defenders seems a bit out but that will hopefully improve with game time if he continues to deputise there. I thought Vincent was really good playing the Welsh role of carrying the ball forward and moving it across the pitch between the flanks whilst also helping out defensively. Welsh and Vincent would probably be our two best central midfielders but are they too similar? Keatings linked well with White who seemed to enjoy having someone to feed off the knock downs he was winning. Some nice crosses from Keatings as well. The star of the show was easily Walsh. He was utterly superb. New contract for the guy ASAP.
  18. Good summary from Caley Stan. In many ways it was reminiscent of last season. First half we had a lot of the ball but struggled to create chances. Peterhead were content to sit in and absorb pressure and try and hit on the counter. White had our best chance of the half when he pulled a shot across goal / it was palmed away by Flemming. Second half and Peterhead were all over us. Our best two chances of the second half came from a Vincent header off the post and a White effort clawed away by Flemming. A truly stunning save (think Mikey Fraser v Celtic). Apart from that the home side dominated and should have been out of sight long before the penalty shoot out. Jamie Stevenson and Aidan Smith seemed to be getting a lot of space on their respective flanks and it was disappointing to see how easily Peterhead were able to create space for themselves in the box or drop a ball in behind our full backs to get a cross in. We looked all over the place defensively and it was only thanks to Ridgers that we went to spot kicks. Neither keeper got near the penalties until Flemming thought he had saved Traffords effort but as he got up to start celebrating the ball fell back down from the bar and spun over the line Ultimately it came down to the keepers and Ridgers sadly sliced his effort off target before Flemming bagged the bonus point. Not really much to be impressed by from an ICT PoV. Looks like a change of formation is on the cards with a 4-4-2 / 4-4-1-1 played last night. Our only real change throughout the game was to swap Curry and Walsh. Hard to ignore the obvious Polworth shaped hole in our team at the moment.

Whilst I quite like the new top I think this is a valid point. The continual changes of style of the tops means we don't really have a classic ICT style of strip which I would quite like to see. Red and blue stripes from a few years back anyone?

I quite like the new home strip
