  8. Beaten 0-4 at home by Keflavik but he got a game. Hopefully they might do better in tonight's game away to Fram.

  13. Dougal ( ) is a Killie fan - it all makes sense now....
  14. "Will this be enough blood to sign that new contract with?"
  15. Butcher interview on BBC about next season http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18047672 And from Sporting Life - must be the only person that didn't want the season over with ;-) http://www.sportinglife.com/football/transfer_centre/nw_story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=soccer/12/05/12/SOCCER_Inverness_Quotes.html
  16. Are you suggesting that improvement on that is a big ask ?!! Shouldn't be but you never know. Squad for next season needs to get finalised asap and any new players bedded in pre-season so we can start off on the right foot. Would like to see better than 10th but still hoping for that long awaited cup final appearance - League or Scottish cup.
  17. 3pts and 10th place finish League Cup - 2nd Round lost 1-0 Ayr United Scottish Cup - 5th Round lost 0-2 Celtic Hopefully better next season
  18. And then a pen.... What next ;-) Put away well by Hayes
  19. A goal and then two substitutions - it's all happening ;-)
  20. Biggest talking point of 1st half was commentators take on Ross Tokely
  21. The Hibs match is worth 80K to ICT. That is what we would lose out on if we were beaten by a three goal margin and drop down to 11th in the table. I wonder if that will have any effect on the game plan. I can see Hibs now that they are safe looking to put a team out with one eye on the cup final so some of the bigger players may start on the bench. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Contracts-and-cash-up-for-grabs-against-Hibs.htm
  22. It is the Emir's Cup Final here tomorrow evening - Al-Sadd v Al-Gharafa. It is always a sell out - in fact in previous seasons they have actually managed to sell more tickets than there are seats but that is because the tickets are cheap and there is the lure of the potential prizes that are on offer for attending. This year the big attraction that forms part of a half-time draw is a 'win a million' penalty shoot-out. In total there are 3 million QAR (500,000 GBP) worth of prizes given away and your ticket (if you get into the ground) is your entry into the draw to be part of the penalty shoot out or one of the other prizes (phones, computers, Toyota land cruisers etc) which are drawn. Now that's how to get a full crowd.
  23. If it is any consolation it is 43 degC here today and a little bit of rain would be appreciated....especially by the players who will be playing in the Emir Cup Final tomorrow evening.... :clapping: :clapping: ....seriously though - well done - another tremendous effort... :clapping: :clapping:
  24. Will this be the FC Rangers new strip? A new start and all that....
