  1. It's funny because it's all true!
  2. An absolutely disgusting performance from us. Fair play to Sanchez for coming on and giving us that creative spark that we'd been missing all game. A win is a win, but there is absolutely no excuse for the first 89mins.

    I'm in. (+1)
  4. I'll be all over it post-match. Canny beat a wee Wed-sesh!
  5. I'm in. Then the Wed-Sesh can continue!
  6. Lots of confusion over the scorer. Take your pick from Rooney, Foran or Munro.
  7. Pretty hectic stuff by the sounds of it. Hearts edging the battle of the midfield so far.
  8. Feckin' Yaaaaaaaaaas! Get into these arseholes!
  9. Do tickets need to be bought in advance or can you pay at the gate?

I said at the time he signed that I thought it was a bad move. Sanchez was struggling for form in the first division, why he was even offered a contract to play in the SPL is puzzling.

You genuinely believe that there's nothing wrong with the team as it was tonight? Having seen the game on Hurdy Gurdy TV now, I thought we were **** poor and in no way deserved to win. I think our Irish trio are mis-firing up front and we look extremely suspect at the back when questions are asked of it from reasonably pacey attacks. We aren't even that good in the midfield, we have no one that can dictate the pace or direction of a game! Before anyone attacks what I'm saying, have a think about how we've got to where we are in the league. We've had massive amounts of luck! Luck like we've had doesn't carry on forever and when it runs out, if we've not sorted our act out, we will sink back down to the bottom six and potentially get heavily involved in a relegation battle toward the business end of the season. Any way, here's how I'd line up against one of my most hated teams in Scotland on account of how many scum-bags they have in their squad: Esson McAnn Innes Munro Shinnie (Gillet if fit) Duff Morrison (Duncan if fit) Hayes Odhiambo Ross Sutherland Here's my thinking: CB - I'd drop Tokely because against a pacey attack, he is a total liability. LB - Shinnie has had a torrid time now in his last two games, especially the Motherwell game where Humphrey tore him a new hole on several occasions. The sooner we get a fully fit Gillet back in the team, the better. CDM - Although Morrison looked like he did an OK job against Aberdeen, he didn't boss the game like a defensive midfielder should. Though it genuinely pains me to say this, I think we miss Duncan in there. LM - Drop Foran and move Ross out to this position allowing Odhiambo back into the team. Foran may well have created Granty's goal tonight but he is far from his best and something needs done about that. CF - Drop Rooney, he's not been at the races for the last few games and he made some appalling decisions in tonights game. Sutherland, I feel will be more suited to taking on long balls that are aimed at him from our defence and bring the supporting cast attacking from midfield into the play more.
  12. FFS... Any chance of us ever putting in a good performance against teams lower than Rangers or Celtic...
  13. The monthly awards are a complete curse and I'd not be losing any sleep if Butcher doesn't get it.

I agree with the OP. I like being able to have a go at County fans constantly singing songs about us without them being able to come back with "well you do it too..." I cringe when I hear us mention County while we're in the SPL.
  15. In what way? There is a quite obvious problem with the coaching in Scotland and simply saying "but there's Scottish coaches in England doing well" doesn't mean that the coaches here are doing a good job. As Mabawsa pointed out, the only players you see coming through youth systems these days are the one's that have the physical attributes. Usually heavily weighted to being able to run for a long time at different paces. The point I'd raise, is why do we waste time in training sessions getting players to run pretty much constantly. Your level of fitness, once achieved does not disappear over night or even over the course of a week. Why then, do we not use some training sessions to introduce players to a ball and say "Look lads, this is what you'll be kicking about on Saturday, let's see what you can do with it..."? The real problems with Scottish football are so brutally obvious it genuinely pisses me off that nothing is being done about it. Sod it, let's just go out and spend the half billion quid "required" to repair Scottish football on the say so of some no-mark ex footballer.
  16. I wouldn't have LDZ or Hastings any where near our defence either. There's a good reason neither are playing in the SPL...
  17. I've been thinking that since McCann and Gillet got injured!
  18. Has anybody else noticed that within the last few seasons, when ever we've been on the receiving end of a horsing, Proctor has been in the defence?... I get the feeling that's no coincidence...
  19. Aye, right you are! What game were you at?
  20. Today has just shown that we do not have sufficient strength in depth in our squad. Without Gillet and McCann, and with Munro and Innes playing like that we are absolutely abysmal at the back. Tokely is way beyond his best. He may well have been on the left today but that is no excuse what so ever for being as slow as that. Proctor is not a defender. How many times does Butcher need to see him get roasted by opposing attackers before he figures that out?! So we've established that we can't defend... Can we attack? Only until the final ball needs to be played. What the f**k are we doing in training if we're not practising defending or attacking?! :irritated: It's f**king basics that we're messing up out there! Good to see Butcher has learnt something though, Duncan is not an SPL player. Great shout replacing him with Duff - who for me, was a competitor for MoM today. Nick Ross had a great game and only just edged out Duff. Good to see Foran back, but did anyone else think he looked no where near fit enough? Couple of nice touches and passes but as soon as he needed to do anything energetic at all he was not his usual self. He's got at least 2-3 weeks before he's back to being competitive I reckon.

He allegedly had sexual shenanigans with a 15 year old girl. No worse than chanting it at Graham Rix or Tony Bullock I'd say.
