  1. One mans trash is another ones tresure.
  2. In fairness the North Stand was pretty livley compared to previous games in the past few seasons.
  3. Realisticly you would ahve these feelings regardless of who was appointed. These are uncertain times at ICT and I personally will have fears untill we are safe. Butcher was in my humble opinion a good choice.
  4. Brewster?
  5. Still think you need to read into statistics more.....
  6. Having just seen him on North Tonight he has inspired me. The fact that he mentioned being active in the transfer market gives me faith he will be after an experianced forward. Good luck Terry and Maurice!
  7. That was a really positive game yesterday, shame about the score. From the radio you could tell we were playing a good game of football and it is a shame about the scoreline. Lets take at least a point next week. You can do it lads!
  8. OH no! Elgin are my other team. He better not go there!
  9. I'd rather not an old manager (not as in age as in someone who has been at us before) so I voted Butcher.

    Butcher or Macglynn for me.
  11. I nearly wept tears of joy when I heard this today. Its a long time coming, granted I never like to see anyone out of a job but it was for the greater good. I'd give coaching a try if I was him. I actually feel positive about the team for the first time in months.
  12. I got one. As I'm on a year out I got a student rate. Has it been worth it so far? no. Granted I would watch ICT regardless of what division they were in but I still expect at least one home win.

Brewster = a number two manager.
  14. Is it possible that we have not signed a credible and consistant striker, something blatently obviously needed due to our lack of goals this season because Brewster; a great striket in his day does not want to sign someone who will show him up as he has hung up his boots? It could be an inferiority complex of sorts considering its already been proven that Brewster has a high opinion of himself.

Its funny how Robbo and Christie managed on that budget, Pele got us two promotions with that budget. Whats his next excuse? people still being stubburn over the merger and staying away from the club? I can't stand to look at that man, he makes me sick. Why can't he go and kill some other club and stop undoing other peoples hard work?
  17. Over the past few days I have had alot of people say to me that if ICT go down they will NEVER come back up. What does everyone think about this statement? I for one feel that we would be in for 10-15 years in Division One. Your thoughts?
  18. In response to the who do we get question what about Neale Cooper?
  19. Only when your good and well Pele.

As I said in my posts, although the flag IN QUESTION offends me and I do not agree that a football game is a place to air your political opinions unless they are related to the club. I wouldn't go as far as to stop anyone. I was asked two questions by Stan, what I found offensive about the flag and why I think football and politics whould be seperated. I think this is a case of tolerance. You may not like someones opinion but nobody should have the right to stop people saying what they belive in. I think the main question is why corrupt what is essentially a form of entertainment and escapism with issues that have nothing to do with the proceedings. For example I may go to a football match and boo an opposition player for a dirty tackle or a referee for making a bad decision. That form of protest is logical in the context but would I go to a match, completly ignore the match I PAID TO SEE and sing about Robert Mugabe? I don't think so. I know that these issues are a more life and death situation than a game of football but people go to games to get away from these things, al be it for 90 minutes, although iwe should all have the right to protest where we want. It should be in the discretion of those protesting to decide where and when.

In my opinion it is wrong for people to side with EITHER side of the conflict as it is exceedingly complex and both sides have blood on their hands., although Israel have not exactly kept a clean sheet in terms of minimum damage to the unfortunate people caught up in this conflict and I think their recent action which resulted in the obliteration of aid in the GAZA region is utterly despicable. I still feel they are just retaliating after years of similar treatment. We must remember Palestine as a state have shown utter contempt for Israel's right to exist and have been firing rockets into the territory for years. HAMAS who won the 2006 election in the region promote anti-Semitism with such outlandish claims that both World Wars and countless revolutions were caused by Jews, as well as comparing Jews to pigs, rats etc. For years the first point on their manifesto was "a call for the destruction of Israel? The fact that they are putting civilians in the region of Gaza in harms way by blending into the innocent civilian population. I consider HAMAS a terror organisation due to numerous suicide bomber attacks. As this organisation holds power in Palestine. Their flag evokes connotations of hate, intolerance and ignorance. To me it seems there is a deep routed undertone of anti Semitism in some of the protests I have witnessed. I saw protests on television where right next to people with Palestinian flags, there were people with banners featuring the Star of David and a swastika; showing a complete lack of knowledge in terms of history and the current conflict. Stan, as far as leaving politics at the turnstiles is concerned. I work hard earning money, football is my treat, my 90 minutes of escapism. I just want to my hometown team who have given me so many great moments in my short life. As far as I'm concerned the only politics that I want to be involved with this should be club related. The only reason I would get involved in those are because I want to see my team to as well as possible. If I feel that there is something wrong with the club that effects my and other peoples enjoyment of the games or the wellbeing of the club then I will make my voice heard. I would consider myself somebody who pays attention to the media. I read different national and local papers and watch various news programmes, but if I wanted the issues rose in these forms of media outside of the five minute sports roundup of the back pages. I would go watch one of the many supporters? buses that leave the Sneck on a Saturday morning and watch the bigot brothers. In truth I'd rather eat my own foot than do that. Regardless of my political feelings towards ANY situation in world politics. I will keep them away from Caley stadium. If you choose to air your feels on devolution, the crisis in Zimbabwe, Celebrity Big Brother etc at the games then that?s your choice I won't stop you, but to me that?s not what the game is about.

Given the flag to me symbolises something offensive I would take offence to its display. Besides football should be about escapisum and we should leave politics at the turnstyle unless directly linked with the club.
  23. I'm personaly devistated that I can't attend this meeting as I work Wednesday nights and have tried to get off but failed, but I want everyone to know I support what you are all doing and will hope to participate in future action. I hope somebody posts results/a summary of the meeting on here so when I finish I know whats happned. Thanks.
  24. I had an idea at work today. On January 17th we are due to play Hamilton away. Meanwhile Ross County play Queen of the south at home. As I know alot of people on here attend away games. I suggest you all boycot the Hamilton game and sit in the away end at Victoria Park and cheer on our hero Barry Wilson who will no doubt feature in the game. Thus showing the board we mean buisness and showing support for an ICT legend who was forced out of the club.
  25. Bad news for me, I'll be in Aberdeen at uni then so I won't have a local game.
