  1. radio coverage had Roy on the right and Barry on the left with Rankin in the middle although they mentioned that Roy and Barry had 'switched' so maybe Barry started on right .... who knows, but it was Roy who setup Bayne.

    Happy NewYear

Happy New Year to one and all - friends, acquaintances or otherwise :004: - Its not midnight here yet but most of our users are at least 30 minutes into it so hope the heads arent too sore in the morn :002:
  4. Dmacca - while you are probably right, there is absolutely no excuse for what he did today and we would have had more chance with 11 players on the park than 10 - even if one of the 11 was not Black. This player has crippled Charlie Christie's game plan once too often and has to go - either to the reserves for a lengthy period or out of the club completely. CC gets criticised for his gameplans and sometimes for his subs but he routinely has to use one of his 3 options to merely keep 11 players on the park because the little nyaff is acting up and has to be taken off before being sent off. We may not have won it today because of Stokes/Latapy but Black didnt help with his infantile antics.
  5. not a knee jerk reaction, just reacting to a jerk !! (meaning Black not you ;)). If his bookings were for his determination and tough tackling then fair enough, but most have been for temper tantrums or childish petulance. get him to **** until he can behave like an adult. This game is over so subbing Wyness and Bayne is more to give them at least some rest before our next game in less than 48 hours time.
  6. dont care how good he is, or how nice he is off the park - 21 yellows and 1 red in less than a season and a half means he has to go, or at the very least be dropped for a very long time, especially as most of these bookings are for temper. If he wants to behave like a kid, let him train with them
  7. merged topics.
  8. 21 yellow cards and 1 red in a season and a half - sorry, he has to go or be dumped in reserves until he can control his temper tantrums. If he was getting booked for tackles or something 'sensible' then fair enough, but I perish to think how many of these bookings have been for 'petulance'.
  9. Rankin playing wide right, Morgan on left

  11. SPL/Setanta probably complained because of copyright infringements.
  12. Basically, the 'new' info is to say that tickets will be available at Falkirk after 2pm on Saturday - as posted in a previous thread. Here is the main information: - Tickets available from Away Ticket booth after 2.00pm on match day - Adult £19.00 - Concession £13.00 (over 60 and under 16 only) - No Student Prices - Falkirk do not participate in the U-12 passport scheme.
  13. sounds sore : Ouch !! [attach=1]
  14. totally agree - Stokes will be looking to go out with a bang rather than a whimper ... so we need someone to make him whimper :004:
  15. We specialise in 'care in the community' here on this site and I have no doubt that resident psychologist, IHE will be along with some words of encouragement. But before he scares you off, just wanted to welcome you aboard the HMS Sneck. :021:
  16. also known as 'Fairy Nuff' :004: Happy New Year ya big bassa

  19. Falkirk and local police are also advising the following: Police are advising members of the public about new parking restrictions in and around Falkirk Stadium. The restrictions include additional double yellow lines at junctions and local streets near the stadium and the introduction of urban clearways on main roads. [attach=1] ‘Urban Clearways’ prohibit vehicles from parking, waiting or stopping on roads that are subject to restrictions. The clearways – enforced at all times - replace the lines of cones previously placed on Laurieston Bypass, Northern Distributor Road, Grangemouth Road and Falkirk Road. Sergeant Jim Allan, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “These new restrictions will not only assist in maintaining public access but also help to promote road safety and prevent indiscriminate and inconsiderate parking. “Where motorists park, wait or stop vehicles in contravention of the restrictions they will be moved, may be issued with fixed penalty tickets, reported to the procurator fiscal and may have their vehicle, if left unattended, removed.”
  20. Simple truth is that if any of the 3 players most frequently mentioned (Dods, Dargo, Brown) decide their future lies elsewhere we will either get peanuts from the buying club to let them go in January or we will get 100% of nothing if they leave when out of contract at the end of the season. would far prefer to see Grassa and Charlie try to pull off a minor miracle and try to keep 1, 2 or even all 3 of them, and Dods would be top of my list despite the early season doubts about him and a move to DUFC.
  21. Yeah, they used to be quite easy to catch with a net in Muirtown Basin.
  22. Tickets are currently on sale to priority groups (Season Ticket Holders, Shareholders, Centenary Club Members, Supporters Club Members and Supporters Trust Members) and will go on general sale on 10th January. (maximum of 4 tickets per person). More info and pricing on the OFFICIAL SITE
  23. According to sources down south, those who don't have tickets for the Falkirk game need not fear. Any unsold tickets will be returned to Falkirk and will be available probably after 2pm on Saturday.
  24. appears to be back up now
