still wondering how we got a crowd of 10 over the official capacity of 7512. In fact, wasn't the official capacity reduced further after the last Rangers game (7512 crowd). I believe it was dropped to 7500 as about a dozen seats were removed for TV gantries ???

I think CC would be the first to admit that there is vast scope for improvement and he has to try to make that happen. On the other hand, the players also have a responsibility for shoddy performances and many [but not all] of them should be looking in the mirror today thinking they could do better. I said yesterday that I didnt think there were any positives during the game and I stand by that. Others may think differently and thats their right and prerogative on a board where there can be many differing opinions. This may make me a whinger, but lets make this clear, I am in no way calling for Charlie's head on a plate. I still think CC can get the job done and am 100% behind him. However, its no fun listening to that **** far less for those of you paying megabucks to be there in person.

Probably not appropriate due to its connotations with another team but Pete MacKenzie (known to many of you as Calum's brother in law) wrote a full set of alternative lyrics to another well known tune .... can vaguely remember the chorus low lie the fields of Longman Drive where once we watched the I-----C-T play Through the wind and the drizzle, we will follow Caley Thistle at the fortress on the fields of Longman Drive Wolfstone - Battle does it for me - always enjoy that tune, Travis - 'why does it always rain' was another good one that everyone sang when we beat Hearts at Tynie a few years ago ... but the obvious one is Frankie Miller's 'Caledonia' if we can change the lyrics to incorporate 'thistle' as opposed to just 'caledonia'

completely disagree. we dropped two points against a side who virtually every other set of supporters have claimed to be the worst team in the SPL this season by a mile. By the sound of the commentary, we were not much better (or any better ?) than the Pars and I see absolutely no positives from today's result.

remember the cup game V Rangers at Tannadice ... the Rangers keeper was going through one of his 'bloated' phases and the crowd began singing that "there's only two Andy Goram's" ..... he walked to the edge of his 18 yard box, looked towards the ICT fans and started rubbing his belly, then laughed and winked.

The Tunnel Crew have had a few belters over the years ...... with Myself, Big Stu, Calum, Doresboy, Taz, Uncle Albert, ATT and P&B all in close attendance there was frequently an unspoken competition to out-do each other. Think Taz was usually declared the winner with some cutting yet humorous outbursts. Cant remember quite what he said, but he had Yogi Hughes almost rolling on the ground during one of the games when Frank Connor started chasing the stand side linesman up the park waving one of his sticks at him .... guess that wouldnt happen in the SPL (no 4th official in lower divisions) :015: :015: :015: to be fair to Yogi - he was also one of the best on the other side of the wall - frequently opposing managers/subs got quite annoyed with remarks from the stand but Yogi would have a laugh and a joke and join in.

This is something myself and Don were talking about for the history section .... to see if we could get ALL tops from all seasons added. We have scores, reports and such like and I probably have around 4000 pics from the first few years so hopefully we might be able to do something along these lines. I know of someone who would hopefully create artwork showing them so that we are not breaking any photo copyright if we could get the actual pics and then render an artists impression [similar to the shirts used in the next fixture module (but bigger)] .... so if anyone has pics, they could be sent to me here and we can try and create this history section ......... (as well as filling out the ICT pages of the oldshirts site :004:

You could be right, maybe the site creator could create a section for teams that are no longer in existence - Third Lanark, Clydebank, Caledonian, Inverness Thistle etc etc ....

The members club has served its purpose and since membership in it has been closed for a number of years (1996 / 1997 ?) it is only fair that the shares they were given are moved across to a body that is open for all fans to join. To my mind, the Supporters Trust should be an umbrella body that contains other 'lesser' organisations within it (perhaps as affiliates) - such as the official supporters club, other independent supporters organisations, members club, perhaps even a travel club for when we get into Europe .... these other organisations can then go about their business in whatever way they need to but the main supporters trust should be the liaison and focus point to bring fan issues to the club. The Supporters Trust may be in its infancy, and I know you have issues about certain things CaleyD, but I am fairly happy as a supporter that there is a decent level of experience and expertise on there at the moment. I am sure the faces will change over the coming seasons and when it comes election time we will undoubtedly give some space to anyone wishing to publish their manifesto if there are actually enough people putting their names forward to require a vote [seem to remember from my time on the Supporters Club committee that we virtually had to press gang people to be on it !!!]
