  6. had a meet the fans tonight at the stadium. what a refreshing change! it was great to listen to them both telling us how they have been motivating the team, their strategy to try to keep the club up, their hopes for the future. their enthusiasm was so evident even though they know the enormity of the task ahead of them. both acknowledged that to keep the club up would be one of the high points of their careers and both were prepared to put in the hard work with the team to do it. they were very funny but underneath it all what was evident was a desire to win. they'd learned a bit about our team already - even before they were given the job. i think everyone there left feeling so optimistic - i sure did! here's to the future with ict
  7. think if he'd had another day or 2 to think he'd still be with us....
  8. :thumb04: :018: not that keen - though i do have a reasonably good feeling about sunday you know so it might be an interesting experience! :015: watched us play them one time in an irish bar in prague. got talking to a couple who were extremely nervous about the game. she mentioned that we seemed to be their bogey team at the time. i pulled my ict top out my bag and as i put it on said 'so i must be your worst nightmare come true then?' she seemed a bit shocked i was in there and not a sellic supporter! we lost though... ;)
  9. take it that's at haymarket...
  10. welcome to the most fantastic club in scotland in the most beautiful part of the world. always had pride in the fact that we are a 'family club' with a truly loyal support. we care passionately about our club as you may have already realised. best quote i've read so far was about terry - you've bled for england now bleed for us! welcome to the ict family guys!

don't think anyone had ever stopped supporting the team as could be seen at the weekend game at hamilton. tons of fans in good voice singing cheering showing their support for the players on the park. however... i think when it became obvious that the manager didn't really have a clue about how to respond to hamilton's game (and only towards the end of the match) did the majority of the fans let their feelings to the manager be known... not too sure if you were there but there were some folk there who questioned the passion, support (and right to criticise) of supporters who travel vast distances to watch games just because they weren't season ticket holders was a bit rich when i suspect that they may get free tickets to away games.... there is no doubt that we will now see a resurgance of the old ict support, as always fully behind the team. but as IHE says there's more to the rot off the field...
