    RIP
  3. i would certainly think so!!
  4. One I remember that hardly anybody else will - we got a 1-1 draw thanks to a Martin Glancy equaliser, the year we went up with Livi, 98-99. This kept us 8 points ahead of Clyde. The team bus made it over Drumochter but the supporters bus didn't as the snow gates got closed. Only a handful of Central belters there. i remember that one - not cos i was there but because i was on the bus. i'd taken 2 wee boys to thier first away game. tried to get hold of the parents but couldn't as they were off enjoying themselves child-free. ended up going to see Elf in Vue cinema, taking them to Pizza Hut for lunch then over the bridge to the County game in Caley colours! guess it would be the away end we were in. kids had a smashing day - cost me an arm and a leg....
  5. if i remember rightly Jimmy Nicol spoke at on of the do's before - might have been Barry's testimonial and was absolutely hilarious. another one i could listen to again was Willie Young. he spoke at a Chest Heart and Stroke golf fundraiser at the drummossie a few years ago. John Robertson spoke first i think, and then Willie Young. Willie was actually sitting at our table and he was great! Brilliant night (£25 per head!). #theinvernessbranchofthewillieyoungfanclub!
  6. that's it - the butterflies have started sleepless nights x2 coming up looking forward to meeting up with many old friends can't wait!!
  7. it's not easy to get parked around easter road. leith links isn't that far away and parking around there is free park and ride or inverkeithing is a good shout and it's only about 15 -20 min walk from the town

havent been on the site for a few days and only heard about this today. absolutely gutted. it is a privilige to have known Gordy. as many have said his posts were witty and informed and he was the same in the flesh. i'll miss them. my thoughts are with Anne and the family. RIP Gordy
  14. fantastic IHE! missed the GTWB productions...
  15. oh - and good to see richie hart in amongst the away support too.
  16. not long home. guys played really well certainly in the first half. were pretty unlucky to lose 2 in quick succession. ryan had little to do in the game apart from that. ross was immense yet again. as has been said tade worked really hard and the rest didn't do too badly either. and big up to the boys for coming over to the travelling support at the end of the game.
  17. hopefully there - but does anyone know if you can take young people in? they're pretty tall but don't have much facial hair...

Em...Neros first name was Alex too but he was from the western Isles...not Skye...unless he moved...which is perfectly conceivable :) Nero was from Ness on the north tip of Lewis. In terms of the youngest player actually to take the field for ICT, I think that accolade is definitely Polworth's. In fact I'm sure Ian Broadfoot confirmed it after the Hibs game. Gee whiz bannerman - not like you to get it wrong!! nero wouldn't thank you for making that mistake! Nero was from the village of Back on the east coast of the isle of lewis! and mantis is right about neil macdonald's dad being Rasper from Ness - could have been a fantastic player if his demons hadn't go the better of him!

how cool would it be to have real celebrity supporters!! shame the aberdeen gig wasn't during the season and terry could have invited them to stop off for a game... however, i too will be in aberdeen in the summer - and hopefully will raise the profile of ict with the irons!
