Captaincy
Rossco's too inconsistant to be captain, we need a regular starter who is consistant and not afraid to shout his mouth off when need be. Grant Munro for example, best man for the job at the moment.

Just for fun? What do you do for laughs? Club baby seals? :o

What to spend the pocket money on?
Because we don't need one? Watching the game is usually a good way to know the score. Keep the money to invest in the winter window as we will know our strengths then.

C*unty thrown out of top level Youth Inititative!!!
The clubs can recover but the players can't replace the valuable experience they would have gained, I can't help thinking something could and should be done to help them.

C*unty thrown out of top level Youth Inititative!!!
The real issue here is that it's not the clubs themselves who will suffer most because of this but the young players, I'd like to think that ICT could offer these players from across the bridge some support in that respect maybe sharing the training facilities and "registered coaches". Would that satisfy the SFA rules to permit County to participate?

Brewster in Salzburg
No arguments with that but on occasions we should expect a good cup run and even appearances at cup finals.

ICT to relocate?
Would you care to elaborate? And what's a Highland Theme Park?

Is Marius our Larson
Why did the Board of Directors not secure Marius on a longer contract before his appearance at Euro2008? This would not only have given him confidence for his future but also strengthened our bargaining position should any offers come in for him. Brewster's options were limitted were they not? Correct me if I'm wrong (I've no doubt you would anyway), but it's unfair to expect one player to perform at world class level when he's supported by his club class teammates. The support he receives at ICT is the best we've got - end of story. The explanation for this will make for interesting reading. I suspect we may be led down the path that its all because we broke the wage structure for one player but lets make this clear to those that might try that spin here and now .... A lot of people know some fairly detailed information about how his wages for two seasons have already been covered one way and another whether he is here for next season or not. The blame for any shortfall in the accounts cannot therefore be blamed on this one transaction. If there IS a substantial loss then I ask that the club do not treat the shareholders like mushrooms (kept in dark, fed on ****) but explain it without spin. Personally, I suspect that our abysmal cup runs will have had far more effect on the bottom line than one player. I'd agree with you on the cup runs or rather lack of this season having a big impact on turnover. However this season has seen Robson moving to Celtic for which there should be a commission coming in and Rankin's move to Hibs should also show up on this years accounts, so if there proves to be a loss rather than profit this season there should be some probing questions being asked of the Board of Directors. Marius our Henrik? Hope not! Larsson

What happens next season????
Are you implying that the SPL should favour Gretna over Hamilton on the grounds issue? :015:

CONSPIRACY THEORY!
That argument is fundamentally flawed as if we'd won our last 10 matches that would have reward the players better than 5 games after the split wouln't it! It would also have put a bigger price on their value to the club and/or prospective transfers/deals. A higher league position gives the club more money in the coffers with which to reward the players or attract new players.

The Reality Thread
Excellent positive post. While I'm happy for County, I am dismayed with our performances of late. However I am happy that we'll still be in the SPL next year and just maybe there's more going on in the dressing room/boardroom than we are giving them credit for, next season will expose whether the powers that be are on the ball or not. I reckon our first top 6 finish is on the cards. :011:

We Need A New Manager For Next Season
Remember Pele put him on the transfer list not long after he arrived which had an effect on his on field performances. He is now married with children so has a lot more responsibility. Let's see what happens to to his motivation? :024:
