  1. England because the seethe level at commentators and news channels in Scotland will reach critical mass and lead to a unanimous Yes vote in September. Oh, and they're our good neighbours.
  2. Why do you need a company to arrange maintenance? Set up your own resident's committee and put your requirements out to tender in the trade magazines. You'll get professional services without the commission payments to management company. Any surplus can go to improved landscaping/facilities.
  3. You think it a reasonable response is to imply I include Al Quaeda in a general statement where I make a specific reference to our foreign policy diverging from rUK's. And I'm the one with a bad attitude?
  4. Anyone that thinks terrorist organisations would welcome anyone at all other than like minded people are mistaken. What is the point you're failing to make?
  5. What about future generations who are born in an independent Scotland should the yes vote win? Not that it bothers me personally as I am always Scottish first in my mind My opinion As rUK's & Scotland's foreign policies diverge, Scot's overseas will see hosts becoming more hospitable to them than rUK natonals.
  6. Not 100% certain but I believe this to be the case. Precedent is that you can continue to have British passport and can also have Scottish passport if you so wish. Dual nationality is not a new phenomena. If you currently have dual nationality, then you will need to choose which passport you forfeit if you wish to have a Scottish passport.
  7. I was going to take screenshots and step by step ignore you Fraz, but can't be bothered. There's a help button at the bottom and you'll find what you're looking for.

  9. Charles does have a point about the level of representation we have at the centre of power. There is a democratic deficit in the UK but it is greater in Scotland. Jimmy Reid foundation have a report on it and what I'd like to see is a return to town councils so local issues are dealt with locally, locally funded through tax. The town councils pooling resources for many services such as environmental health, waste management, street lighting, road maintenance, etc.. How many people on here know who their community councillor is? Their regional councillor? How many involved in their local community? I see this referendum as only the beginning of a democratic revolution in Scotland. http://allofusfirst.org/the-key-ideas/how-to-restore-local-democracy/ http://allofusfirst.org/resources/library/ There are a lot of ideas in there about what we as a small independent nation can do differently, we'll not get everything right (who does?) but they'll be our decisions made in Scotland by the people of Scotland at the appropriate level of governance.
  10. Fuxake, I forgot to post this from Bella. http://bellacaledonia.org.uk/2014/02/11/falling-over/
  11. You mean like Eshenpee shupporter Shur Shaun who lovesh hish country sho much that he ushed to shtay in Shpain? The problem with these expats getting a vote would have been that none of them is going to have to live with the consequences in the event of a yes. Also, far too many people who may have begun life as domiciled Scots but now live abroad float about on some misplaced, Braveheart-motivated cloud of pseudo-romance and look nostalgically on Scotland as some kind of Brigadoon theme park. As opposed to those who walk around with their heads up their arses? Question for Laurence, I've seen the White Paper "Scotland's Future" on sale on Ebay and Amazon for silly money considering it's free to every household in Scotland. How much would one be worth were it signed by the Scottish cabinet ministers? (I'm not selling, just curious) I won first prize in a raffle at a Yes Burn's supper and Charles will love this, I had the choice of the signed white paper or a gallon of Malt Whisky. Here's a picture of me being presented it by Miss Scotland
  12. Our oddballs are creative in a good way, unlike the unionists which create their own version of history. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-r_J14n100 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-znkbMzi4A
  13. What Mr Carney seems to be saying is that the Romans have been rather busier than the People's Front of Caledonia would have us believe. http://derekbateman1.wordpress.com/2014/01/29/preparing-for-change/ http://derekbateman1.wordpress.com/2014/01/29/whod-want-to-share-anything-with-this-lot/
  14. Every time I read a post by CB I leer further into the BT camp but as I have dumped SNP for UKIP BT won't have me.
  15. Good choice, imho. Did well at Falkirk on a diminishing budget and helped set up a youth academy too.

  17. I see Anas "will you sign this, Nicola" Sarwar couldn't be arsed going to Westminster to vote on abolishing the bedroom tax. Obviously Anas "if we were in power tomorrow, we'd abolish bedroom tax" Sarwar had something better to do. Claims he didn't know about the vote? If he was my MP I'd be livid. My MP voted against the tax, most of you here have an MP that voted to keep it. Aye, Better Together indeed!
  18. Holly Willoughby please Edit: With me as assistant.
  19. For people who refuse to subscribe when they hit paywalls I found this little instruction tonight. Excellent Go to http://archive.is, put link into bottom box to see if someone has already done the link, if not insert link in top box and it will change to a new link that gives you full article. Also, putting in the domain name in the top box will open up a drop down box with a shedload of links too!
