  1. He'd be great but as you say probably unaffordable.
  2. Kenny Cameron in Press and Journal stating home end numbers haven't fallen but away numbers have. He says this is possibly due to County being in top league as well so fans come up once a season instead of twice? Would this explain DDs figures
  3. I think cost may be an issue for some but I'm not convinced it's as big as that. I think prices compare with a trip to the cinema etc when everything is added in. The football is our leisure activity in our family so we tend to do the cinema, bowling etc rarely. I think the family section is a great deal for those with young children and there are finance packages available to spread the cost. It is a big jump in cost when they reach 12 or 16 I know but at least there are still concessions available. The club do on the day deals on a regular basis but I do know the take up is generally poor! I really feel these numbers are down to away crowds and fixture manipulation. I will concede there probably is a drop in home fans attending as well. IMO attending football is a habit. It's easy to get out of the habit and go and do other things at the weekend unfortunately for the club. I do worry about the sustainability for the future however. I could pay for 2 adults AND 2 kids, to go Ice Skating, on a saturday afternoon, for 2.5 hours, for about £3-4 CHEAPER thn it would cost just ONE adult to get the cheapest seat at TCS!!! I could take that same family of 4 to the Cinema, in the afternoon, for a pound or two more than what it would cost just me to get the cheapest seat in the house at TCS! Football is a RIP OFF....plain and simple. I find my season tickets much better value than cinema etc. as I said its a matter of choosing where youspend your money. I've never got a family ticket cheaper than £22 at the cinema....tho £23.20 for a family of 4 on a saurday afternoon to get into the cinema. i think the cheapest ticket for ONE adult at TCS is £21 For 2 adults and 2 under 12s you'd be about £24 a game for the four of you in the family section with season tickets. So much the same really. Not everyone has kids under 12, who would ONLY qualify for that price you quoted if the family were rich enuff to be able to fork out for two adult season tickets!!! So a fairer comparrison would be 2 x adult tickets for footie, in amily section = £32, plus two junior tickets=£14......so all in all.....£46 Without you stating how old these theoretical kids are it's not really possible to make an absolute like for like comparison. However according to Vue a family of 4 ticket price is for a minimum of 2 children and a child according to their website is a 2-12 year old, so my original comparison seems totally fair. ETA- Forgot to mention a family ticket on a Saturday afternoon is £27.20 at the cinema, as it's a peak time, not £23.20. http://www.myvue.com/cinemas/ticket-prices/cinema/inverness I'm obviously looking at season tickets are they are the most financially prudent way to go to games. If you are 'rich' and bought 2 adult and 2 Jnr STs in the family section and paid them up over 10 months it's about £69 a month or about £35 a game, much cheaper than buying at the gate. If every penny's a prisoner then an uncovered family ST (1 adult & 2 jnrs) is £200 no idea how much for an extra adult, as it doesn't state that but lets say it's £100. So £300 all in for 2 kids/jnrs & 2 adults that's under £16 a game for everyone. Granted uncovered isn't ideal but if cost is the primary issue and driver and you have older kids then it's an option. Im talking about a family of 4....2 adults and two kids....walking in off the street to watch an ICT game. Even if the Cinema charges £27.20 for sat afternoon movies (i have never paid that price) its still £19 cheaper than the equivalent package for 4 at an ICT game And then, as i mentioned, a family of 4 can go skating for 2.5 hrs on a sat afternoon for near £30 cheaper than they can go to an ICT game. The thing is tho Smee most families don't do the walk in off the street? Most see the value of of a ST with monthly payments for those that need to spread the payments. I suspect most that come as a one off come as part of a school group or a deal?
  4. I would like us to be aiming for a top 6 finish and possibly a decent cup run tbh. However I do agree about certain fans overinflated expectations.

  6. Kinda hoping this is true if just for the seethe OTB! ....lol
  7. I didn't mind the Saturday at 5.30pm ko. Pity this not used more as an alternative to early am Sunday. I do feel Sunday lunchtime attendances are poor for various reasons.
  8. Think that's slightly inaccurate. They've tried all sorts over the years go and ask them. Obviously a lot of the deals will be when the club feels crowds will defo be lower like midweek unfortunately. I really don't think there is evidence that cost is keeping many away sorry!
  9. Remember it well. Was really bittersweet. Remember being the last to get on team bus at Huntley because I knew that when I did it was over. There's a clip on YouTube of the last derby at Telford Street. I on in briefly selling raffles at the front gate.

  11. Em think we should pass IMO.......
  12. Are away end numbers at the TCS recored anywhere and searchable!
  13. Subway in Scotland apparently according to ictfc.com http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/1288-subway-new-shirt-sponsor
  14. Wonder if away crowd numbers are being affected by County being in a Premiership also and lack of Sevco? Derby crowds not as big as Sevco games!?
  15. Think Gretna were sponsored by them some years back?
  16. Sorry but do you not remember his last game as our manager? I don't know what you think I mean but if they do stay up and he turns them round, like he did us, he could be back to haunt us. Anybody that was there that day at ER when he was so disrepected to our club, fans and chaiman I think is enjoying his troubles. As Ive said elsewhere I will always be grateful for the good days we had but seriously hope Hibs go down. The Caley Curse lives.
  17. Not strictly true as we actually attained 58 points in season 2005/06. So we did! Could be argued that some of those points were gained in the bottom 6 post split so easier to attain?
  18. He should have stayed put then? Actually I think butcher owes a debt to ICT it wasn't always rosey and we stuck by him. I will always be grateful for the good times but the manner of his departure was a disgrace!
  19. If you've got twitter you could ask him yourself? He's @OHenleyAlex
  20. Think it will be after the new sponsor is announced?
  21. The only person I see with over expectations is John Hughes and his "Barcelona" and " Educate " comments. All I expect is honest players being played to their strengths. I don't expect too much and the "Club of our size" is a false argument. We are similar to 50 per cent of all Premiership clubs and all I expect is honesty and commitment. I have posted about Yogi's comments just after he took over and other subsequent interviews. So just to reiterate all I expect is honesty and effort. As I said its your choice. I personally do not see lack of commitment, honesty or effort from the players? Can you give examples? Who mentioned players? Can you not just clarify what you mean then? I have huge reservations about statements made by our manager about not changing what isn't broken, good game plans and educating players. No-one has clarified the position of the under 20 players released, Evans, Cooper and a few others although rumours say they have been released. This is what I mean by honesty. I will plead the 5th about commitment but I have my reasons for saying this also. I have no problems with the honesty or commitment of a single member of our playing staff and apologise if that is how it came across. Thanks for that. I would imagine that the position re the ?released players will be clarified shortly when contracts expire? I actually agree with you re Yogi and the press bit hoping this is something he will improve in the coming season.

  24. I think it's sad that folk are consideing not renewing. Obviously a personal choice but I do feel some may have unreal expectations of what a club of our size can achieve and sustain. Less money can't possibly help can it?
  25. We were asking for bookings but assuming its not huge numbers, probably ok just to turn up now. Or pm me names and numbers?:
