  1. Who is all going then? Will be glad to get back to SPL duty after the International break. I'm going plus 1 maybe 2.
  2. Fixtures are on the SPL website then click on u20 tab. Playing Hibs today at home. 0-0 at half time.
  3. Agree with Rene. Weve seen a few good ideas at other clubs this season. As well as the ones he mentioned the ones I can think of the top of my head were 1 Dundee - Season Ticket holders benefit scheme ie discounts at local shops. entertainment venues etc for st holders. (not fundraising but maybe encourage sales). Motherwell - Have lunch with the players days. Aberdeen - Ladies days. An untapped market by ICT as far as I can see. Im sure there are loads more and think it would be an idea if the commercial staff could go looking at what other clubs are doing (sfl too) and pinch/copy some of the ideas. Im not sure they all would work but Im sure some would for us.
  4. Had a great afternoon. Thanks guys.
  5. Our scorer was Kyle Whyte.
  6. Hot on the heels of the big game last Saturday, the u20's did battle at the Global Energy Sandpit in Dingwall, and once more the Inverness side came out on top on a pitch that was reminiscent of a ploughed field. Inverness were three up before County staged a late comeback but it was too late as Shane Sutherland stamped his class all over this game with a hat-trick before a Gary Glen penalty and a thumping strike from Alex Cooper reduced the deficit, but 2-3 it was. Old Caley Girl is our roving reporter checking out the young boys.... Highland Derby U20 style A reasonable crowd on a cold Tuesday night turned out to watch the second highland Derby of the week. Ross County. McCarthy, finlayson, MacPhee, Grimes, Micic, MacKillop, Cooper, Ross, Glen, Crown, Hutchinson. Subs Hall, MacDonald, Poritt,Corbett and MacLeod. ICT. Mathewson, Cooper, Murphy, Hogg, Devine, Gibbons, Khutsishvili, Polworth, Sutherland, Christie and Whyte. Subs MacKay, Skinner, Watson, Ferguson and MacKenzie. ICT started the first half in a lively fashion with Shane Sutherland hitting the left post with a shot. However he didnt miss the target in t,he 25 th minute when a Kyle Whyte cross was dispatched home. 0-1. About 2 minutes later Jordon Gibbons neatly rounded the keeper to make it 0-2. Cou ty had few chances in this half and the few they had were well defended by a back line that included Chris Hogg and Danny Devine. Ht 0-2. 2nd half. Matthew Cooper was replaced by Andrew Skinner. 18 mins after the restart Shane Sutherland grabbed his second slotting home a Liam Polworth pass. 0-3. Ryan Watson then replaced Jordon Gibbons. Followed 5 minues later by Khutsivihvii coming off andCalumFerguson joining the play. It was pretty even until an ICT player was adjudged to have handled in the box. The game seemed to continue for a moment despite the County shouts and the ref decided to consult the West stand assistant Penalty awarded and duly scored by Glen but Matheson didn't look too far away! County also grabbed a second a minute before full time with an Alex Cooper 25 yd screamer FT 2-3. All in all an enjoyable game. Well done to Chris Hogg on his first 90 minutes back after his injury. Main talking point of the evening was the state of the County pitch. More sand than grass and very very heavy. A few of our young p,ayers commenting on it on twitter after the game too. Will it even survive the season if there bad weather?
  7. It was like an Indian war chant (like the old cowboy films) it was very effective IMO
  8. He needs to do the oddquine sarcastic sign then lol
  9. I can reliably report that I say Derek Adams smile! Yes really! Honestly! Will do a wee match report later when I warm up. It was freezing and I also can report that is the worst pitch I've ever seen!
  10. ?????? Surprised at this description of Mr Shinnie. Seems to be a team player as far as I can see and having met him a few times he is far from a prima donna.Nice guy who seems to get on well with everyone.
  11. For anyone interested our U20 team will be playing our neighbours at the Global Energy Stadium tomorrow (Tuesday 19th March) at 7pm. Admission is free and I believe you can get a cup of tea and a pie.
  12. Well I wouldnt. Personally I go want to see a successful first team achieving as much as they can. I spend a lot of money home and away and I like watching attractive football like this season. I would support the team whatever division they were in but surely we are in business as a first team first and foremost. It would be nice if we could bring through our own young players but if the talent isnt there then it isnt there. I watch the U20 s sometimes and although I take no pleasure in saying it I dont think we have players of Meekings, Taylor or Devine coming through our ranks at the moment. I also think most of our supporters really couldnt care if the players came from timbuctoo at present.
  13. I hope youll be handing out the valium then!
  14. He is normally at home u20 games
  15. We don't really have an under-20s, if it was intended to be a replacement for the under 19s to allow the local lads to improve and allow the facility for some injured players to get match practice/fitness.....but we do have a quasi-reserve team which just happens to be composed of the maximum allowed over 20s in any game, the maximum number of signed to the first team under-20s in every game and the minimum number of local lads in every game. I kinda wonder what is the point of dishing out money to pay our youth coaches when 99% of the kids they bring through the ranks to under 20 level are only there in case some first team player from an English or other club isn't available to play. Oddquine why do you think the club do this? I can only imagine it is because it is felt the kids coming in bring something different?
  16. Had to be one then? Ha ha
  17. Guilty as charged! I just thought he was averagely bad for both teams! I be actually seen lots worse than Brines this season tbh.
  18. Oh there's always one glass half full person on here! We won, we are top 6 for the first time ever, nothing else matters!
  19. The night before the biggest highland derby ever and on the verge of securing top 6 and this is all we are discussing?
  20. Here here! With hibs losing a win tomorrow would all but secure our top 6 place would be nice to get it the easy way..... C u all tomorrow .

Personally would rather Devine to Taylor as above. Probably will be Taylor tho.
  23. I was at the game and didnt notice anything at the time either! Didnt know about it till I got home so I agree totally with above.
  24. He's said sorry and he's paying the damage. What more do folk want?
  25. MrCrockett you will be able to pay at the gate I'm sure or why not phone the lovely Laura in the ticket office. You can pay for a ticket over the phone and collect when you arrive at the ground.
