Merger Dreams
Back on topic I was talking about this subject with some folk on saturday. I think when the merger was taking place it was hoped that the club would go on to bigger heights over the years but imo this season has been something else. To be one of the top teams in Scotland consistantly for months was I think beyond our wildest dreams 20 years ago. I personally am very proud of where we have got too and rather than merger topics decending as usual into a slanging match can we not, for a change, celebrate the present and also celebrate our history (from both clubs)! My childhood memories are of HL (which was great btw) but my boys memories will consist of SPL matches and maybe just maybe a European dream realised.

The "Who Should We Sign" Thread
Given that we recently started a match with only one Scot on the pitch I don't think we should start throwing stones from that particular glass house. I see that Simon Ferry has been released by Swindon. A competent midfielder who might be a replacement for Andy Shinnie. Yes agreed but we havent been bragging about having different morals or local guys for a local team have we?

Kyle White
Just tweeted that he has been released by the club. Think today is the day all the u20 guys find out if they are staying and going. Good luck to him and the others departing for the future.

that was quite a stunning game of footie. Just had a night out with a couple of gers fans who were telling me how poor the SPL was this year. Destroyed, so they were. Crowd could have been better, but crap, nah. There was little or nothing to be dosappointed about today but if you want to (potentially) be part of history, it might be a good idea to get your erse to Caley Park next week. Tell them davie sent you.Would get my erse down to 'Caley Park' next week but I really don't need any electrical goods. Think I'll go down the Longman instead to watch a game of football which may be of historical significance. Last time I looked the park was called the Tulloch Caledonian (Caley) Stadium much as you kingsmills folk don't like it. This is a tongue in cheek comment (no icons on iPad) ....lol

New Strip.
Good top - another theme on the Crystal Palace classic. Unfortunately unless we switch to adidas/nike et al is not going to happen. Too much like a Rangers top....reminds me of Dado Prso for some reason. St Mirrens Black and Red away top is decent, something like that would be good. Caley pre merger had a top like this, it was a disaster and we hardly won a game that season!

Team fer Muvversmell ?
Would like to see Shane come on as centre forward as that is where he plays for the u20s. Nick Ross came on as the loan striker last week and it wasn't really a success.

Scottish PFA Manager of the Year shortlist
Adams got it last year so maybe it was felt it should be someone different? Delighted for Terry.

So what Celtic players stood out Mr Lennon
Not even the best spl keeper this year never mind the best player in the league!

ICTFC U20s
Does the suspensions carry over to first team? That would mean Daniel Devine is our only available CB on Sat. I believe Matthew Cooper is currently injured. As far as I know they do Iain. Didnt County lose Boyd this way lately?

ICTFC U20s
Well done to the guys. Think next tuesday at home v Aberdeen is the last game of the season. Poor Chris Hogg must be our week for the sending offs. Also puts another defender out for Saturday!!!

SPL Player of the Year
Higdon and Wanyama for me. Both been superb every time I've seen them. Tbh we've seen too much Higdon magic!

Andy Shinnie to Birmingham City
Great to see Andrew among the nominees for the PFA player of the year. Interested that in his interview he stated he would definately be putting in the utmost effort to get us Europe, Maybe been hearing whispers that some think he's not bothered. Personally don't think that he's not trying, just had a wee dip in form and maybe other teams have got wise to him. Wish him lots of good luck at Brum. I
