Exactly, it's baffling that some people seem so keen to perpetuate the myth that he said it was a blessing, or that he is somehow relieved that we didn't qualify and doesn't was us in Europe. All he said in a "brave face" context is that we aren't really geared up for European football yet. But anyone who thinks he or the club don't share the fans' desire to finish 3rd and qualify for European football needs to think again. Michael Gannon just tweeted that TB put a brave face on it after the game but was close to tears.

It was worth going just to be part of a fabulous support. I love being part of caleyaway but yesterday we the fans were exceptional.

According to Kenny Sheils last night on sportsound he wants competition for the goalie position.

Gary Warren got the fans player of the year and Billy got the players player of the year. Gary Warren also won the caleyjagstogether poty with Josh getting the caleyjagstogether young poty. Billy McKay got the caleyjagstogether most improved player of he year.

Back on topic I was talking about this subject with some folk on saturday. I think when the merger was taking place it was hoped that the club would go on to bigger heights over the years but imo this season has been something else. To be one of the top teams in Scotland consistantly for months was I think beyond our wildest dreams 20 years ago. I personally am very proud of where we have got too and rather than merger topics decending as usual into a slanging match can we not, for a change, celebrate the present and also celebrate our history (from both clubs)! My childhood memories are of HL (which was great btw) but my boys memories will consist of SPL matches and maybe just maybe a European dream realised.
