Another way to put that would be, we have signed a player who has scored one goal in fifty odd games in the last two seasons at a lower level than the one we are playing at. Perfectly legitimate to question his signing, although there are positives that can be looked at, as I posted elsewhere. I think Charlie has done a good job but why shouldn't people say what they think about the manager and what happens at the club? Do you honestly think that Charlie has come in for "constant slagging" on this forum? I remember Brewster and Robertson being criticised more than Charlie has been. Brewster was slagged for his negative outlook to football, his lack of substitutions and his rigid and boring stye of play. Robbo for his long ball game. Now we have CC who is trying to play attractive, positive football but how can he achieve this when the fans wont give him a chance... I mean what really has the guy done wrong to deserve so much criticism?? bought and ex Scotland international as a back up who hasn't even kicked a ball yet but has already been deemed as a failure??? It's not even that I'm being "over positive" as RIG put it... but would it not be a better idea to see how the team gets on before slagging the 5hit out of it??

I don't think anyone has ever had a bad word to say about Munro which is accolade enough on this forum ...but have to agree he is a cracking playe and 1 that will hopefully be at the club for a long time.

I think the most important thing is that we had 4 strikers on the park and all of them managed to score. This may have been a good performance against an inferior team but I am delighted we now have goals in the team and quite simply goals win games. We have signed McSwegan for cover upfront and still have 2 players on trial as far as I know, so realisticly we could make 3 signings, which is more than most teams in the league. Christie has already stated in the press that we have no scouting system, hopefully when that is sorted we will be in a better position to pick up players through the winter transfer market. Who cares if nothing in the BBC site, I prefer when we stay out the press these days anyway.

McSwegan with an assist and a goal... not a bad start

... and what if Bayne or McCallister got injured??? It might have been a panic buy but all we are actually needing is cover upfront and with McSwegan having played in the SPL and for Scotland previously he provides cover and experience. I'm sure he wont be the greatest player to wear an ICT strip but he will do a job. He is a new signing for ICT would be nice if everyone stopped bitchin about the transfer and welcomed a new player to the team

Broonie Rossco Dods Munro Hastings That is our defense! I think we need cover defensive areas but remember Morgan can also play at Left Back. Some cover on the wings and CC has said that he is trying to get a player to support upfront. Sorted! Rossco is a legend and has played his games this season without a sniff of preseason, give the guy a break I guarantee he will become as reliable as ever
