  1. Think that's an excellent idea as long as I would get an invite Demonoid (downloading site) work in a similar way I can certainly see where Scotty/Caley D are coming from on this though... where's the reward for them taking the time to run the site only to be abused for the way it's run or have to deal with nimrods going onto P&B after they're banned calling them all sorts. I wouldn't, in fact, that's why I turned down the oppertunity to be a moderator because it's just too much hassle! I've been posting here for 6/7 years, love it, especially living in Glasgow where I have limited folk to discuss ICT related topics. I can't afford to make as many games anymore (grown up resposiblities and all that) so this is one of the few links I have to my claims of being an ICT supporter. Scotty/Caley D I hope you can keep the forum going because I would be truely gutted if it wasn't here anymore because of a few idiots that don't realise the work that goes in behind the scenes.. and that not everything deserves to be handed to them on a plate. Helindee has it spot on though, I think the majority of posts are negative at the moment because a lot of the fans might not have witnessed the work the club/fans/playes put in to making us an SPL club (until recently). Now we're not living up to their expectations all they can do is rant & argue
  2. Dingwall is at a higer altitude than Inverness... that's why we lost
  3. First half, I couldn't see a thing because of the low sun and if everyone's going to use the pitch as an excuse then I'll use the sun as mine. We were all over the place, Proctor was lost in the centre of the park and as Mike says our defence didn't have an outball because neither him or Duncan were willing to come short to take it off them + Gardyne was working his erse off in the hole. Looked as though we hadn't learnt a thing from the first game, IHE's right if Butcher had changed it and we'd lost he'd be getting pelters from our support but I think that's the hard decisions you expect your manager to make. There is a lot of work to be done in the January transfer window
  4. I'll be there
  5. :) can't believe you washed :)
  6. yeh was great to have 2 attacking full backs but Hastings was a lot more solid for the SPL where Golly seemed to be found out after coming back from injury. Crazy how it's turned out that now Butcher feels Golly is the preferred choice for the SFL
  7. Would agree with that but Golly wasn't at the top of his game the season we had our best defensive record in the SPL 05/06 (????)
  8. Hope he does end up in management eventually.. another potenial ICT leader Absolute legend.. my favourite player to wear the ICT jersey, never/rairly put in a bad performance for us.... absolute fecking legend!!
  9. Hastings was one of the most consistent players we ever had at the club and part of the best defence we've ever had: Brown Tokely Dods Munro Hastings For whatever reason some of our fans never took to him but I can't honestly understand why.... should still be at the club and should have finished his career here. Shame Kind of sickening to see him at Hamilton and if we hadn't won the last 2 games so convincingly I think a lot of our fans would be asking why we let him go.
  10. In the new football manager 2010, I signed a centre half, right winger & left back.... sold Barrowman. Team is undefeated in 5 Butcher take heeed!
  11. No sign of my ticket, fingers crossed it will be in the post this week
  12. The problem has always been people judging from the outside without having the full details to understand what goes on on a daily basis and what has been expected from Mike Smith He has received a fair amount of flack from this forum and I don't think it's fair that he's been used as a scapegoat but we live in a blame culture and every likes to point the finger. The gypogate, he had his hands tied but as someone already mentioned, did he really need to kick up such a storm? would there really have been action from the police if he had ignored the situation and just had a quiet word with the stewards? All I can comment on is the conversation I had with him and he seemed like a decent bloke, at least responded to my email and provided a detailed explanation for his actions. Being a manager isn't about being liked, infact, the most efficient for the business are usually the most hated... I just hope Darren knows what he's in for because as soon as there's a slip up our fans will demand his head on a platter.
  13. Venga boys
  14. That could be the next formation - reckon Eric on the bench fer the next couple of weeks will also pay dividends - and unleash this against Coatbridge. I just get the impression from Butcher's post match comments that he will be starting Eric as soon as possible... and I imagine Rooney will be first to be dropped
  15. Thought the ref did well and at least had the sense to overturn his decision + did he not give a penalty against Celtic at Parkhead??????? Case closed!
  16. and then... gers4.bmp
  17. and then... gers2.bmp
  18. Some emails flying about my work..... ooohhh the glasgae banter :) gers1.bmp
  19. Esson Tokely Bulvitis Munro Golly Proctor Duncan Odhiambo Sanchez Imrie Foran Odhiambo will be playing I reckon, so either him upfront himself or on the right and Foran back as lone striker Hope he sticks with a similar formation either way
  20. As per usual your spouting drivel harry Not getting any???
  21. Peter Reid has just become assistant at Stoke so i really don't see him dropping down a division to help out Keane. Burley and Butcher is a very possible duo to take over if Keane gets the boot and given the expectations Ipswich had this season that may not be far away. Burley is not going to leave Scotland for Ipswich. It was bad enough with Smith leaving for Rangers.... Burley knows he would be slaughtered, also he was almost begging not to be axed after not qualifying nae chance
  22. What a damming accusation.... He's not from Fife He's a Weegie. My bad... I'm glad that's the only thing you both thought to pick out though (just as bad to be fair) I think the most important points from my post were point 1, 13, 14 & 15
  23. Got mine sorted today.... bit worried about the postal strikes though, especially with the 2nd class post
  24. Again, that's because the BBC didn't do an interview and I could be pretty sure that the man from Westsound whom Moray Firth had there would not have done so either. Post match audio interviews almost certainly do not exist. Your next chance of post match comment should be tomorrow's Courier. Sorry Charles, I read your original post but think this is the first time I've not seen the official site with any comments... anyway here's the P&J Clicky for anyone interested although they missed out the bit about the bearded supporter
  25. Reasons why I would be f*cking raging if Calderwood came anywhere near the ICT manager post (hypothetical or not): 1) He's a pr!ck 2) He's been tango'd 3) He managed to alienate all the fans (something we don't need help with) 4) Aberdeen are struggling to recover from the wage bill Calderwood had in place 5) Aberdeen played the worst football in the SPL when he was there (again something we don't need help with) 6) Calderwoods tactical book contained 2 formations, 4-4-2 to start the game and then 4-2-4 as soon as they lost a goal 7) He made some of the worst signings ever to be made by any team in the history of the SPL 8) He thought Jamie Langfield was the best keeper in Scotland 9) He plays all his players out of their favoured positions to prove his tactical genius (like renegade's formation - Zadi probably would be played upfront) 10) He's best mates with Brewster and would probably hire him as assistant manager 11) We would never (ever) win a cup and at the end of day that's all a club our size can ever hope for 12) He's from Fife 13) He's a pr!ck 14) He's a pr!ck 15) yes he's a pr!ck
