second striker... somewhere inbetween the forwards & midfield He is too indiciplined to play on the wing as he offers no cover for a left (or right) back... I expect that he was competing with Cowie for the midfield free role but now Cowie is gone he will be given the oppertunity to play off a striker. Foran is quite a similar player from what I remember of him at Motherwell so it will be interesting to see who is favoured and in what position!!

Malpas, fair enough but I think any manager always prefers to have their own assistant and most of the time he is someone that he has previously worked with. I think timing has been a big issue (help the homeless), he has had less than a week to make some signings that will give a positive effect on the team and he knows what to expect from Foran & Kerr. I actually think he has snapped up a bargain in Foran, as he was one of the best players in the SPL before he left Kerr is my least favourite signing because he has a rep as a trouble maker but I'm sure Tokely will hammer that out of him

again... you always knew they were going to lose on penalties though

Good to see United giving Celtic a torrid time before our game with them on Sunday 120 Mins, heavy pitch and now hopefully they will suffer a demoralising loss all good things

But then he isn't trying to weasel his way back into his job at County, because he knows the board at County were onto him after just a few months, so he spat the dummy big style when he didn't get it all his own way. I was just wondering now that there is no potential managerial position up for grabs at Caley (for the foreseable future anyway) if he was still trying to sook up to all the Caley fans. But I did have a few serious questions to ask him... Have to say after reading his intervew I am encouraged.... he almost answered all my questions obviously implying he will stay about if we get relegated and the fact he has ditched his media role has also shown his dedication to the cause I am not a massive fan of his personality but he has a very strong character that hopefully all our players will buy into do you think Butcher can convince the likes of Cowie to sign on???

I think the board have gone for the name rather than what's best for the club Butcher will get my support but at least with Robbo we were assured a manager that wouldn't rest until we escaped relegation or were promoted back into the SPL. He has more knowledge than anyone on the team and will be remarkably cheaper than Butcher..... I hope the board asked one very important question "Terry, if we are relegated can we expect you to stay?" What annoys me more than anything is that Butcher's media commitments could be a stumbling block... Robbo has also media commitments but you can be guarenteed that he would drop them in a second to fully commit himself to keeping ICT in the league They possibly thought that it would reflect badly on the club going for another ex manager and we would be tagged as a small club with no ambition..... public opinion doesn't matter a jot in my eyes (maybe if we were in a more respectable decision) at the moment the one and only concern for board is whether this appointment will save us from relegation unfortunately...... I don't think it will extremely disappointed to be honest

Bobby Mann had a collection of them to contest but I think Imrie's is by far the best I've seen.... If Ronaldo scored it we would be seeing replays for months truely spectacular drive take a boo
