  1. This is fecking horrible... I'm meant to be on a weekend away with the mrs but plugged in with my laptop while she's in the corner with a face like a melted welley I fear the worst :D
  2. Tevez, Berbatov, Di Canio, Gudjohnson or Bazza Wilson
  3. Aye, but we took it well. I don't think they quite realise that we won't cause anybody any hassle if they just leave us alone. And as The Knowledge has pointed out, it was Chibber's shiny, pointy, homosexual, tacky, cheap call centre shoes that got the barstewards attention in the first place. ffs! :crazy07: Aye the support has been excellent away from home and most importantly it has been when the team has needed us the most. The St Mirren game was one where you could actually tell that we made a difference to result (of course it's impossible to prove), I doubt we would have got the goal to win that match if it wasn't for us lot getting right behind the team. I cannae make the Killie match but our fans will be as vocal as ever and I'm sure the stewards will leave you alone as long as you have chosen your foot wear accordingly!
  4. This is the reason we get looked upon as a bunch of sheep shaggin', cave dwelling, electricity fearing, backwards village idiots. Move into the 21st century guys. I can understand it coming from the ex-pats for the nostalgia inducing element but for the guys who live in the Highlands surely we are not as backwards as the movies would have the world believe, or are we? Why is it you only ever see Pipe bands in the Highlands during the tourist season? If we, as a people were that keen on them then the Dornoch square would have the band playing 52 Saturdays per week and not just when the schools are on holiday, so that the tourists can be relieved of their hard earned cash? (I use Dornoch as an example because that is where my ears get polluted by the noise). Mate you support a highland team, I live in Glasgow and couldn't give a feck about the stereotype... I'm proud to be from Inverness and supporting ICT. What's the alternative?
  5. Give the lad a chance under TB & MM IMO he doesn't deserve anymore of a chance than any of the younger players coming through at the club, being a decent player for a 3rd division side does not merit him a new contract. TBH I don't see why there is so much hype about the lad when he has done nothing to deserve it apart from showing off his skills before the start of a game. I know plenty of players that could compete with Ronaldo when doing keepy-ups but get them on a football pitch and they are completely lost... If he was half-decent he would have been given some sort of oppertunity by now IMO Vigurs has much more potential. Maybe part of the reason why he hasn't been given a chance is because he has been out injured since the day Brew left and is needing a second op on his knee?!? Sorry Zander... and while you're here do you prefer your first name to start with an X or a Z?
  6. you listen to dido I think McBain was left wing but to be honest I have never rated him as a winger IMO his best position is in the centre mid, you could see that in the way he kept drifting in-field. It was a bad night for him but I don't think he deserves too much flaak because he has been in decent form recently so hopefully that was just a blip. I know Morais was tired but if I were replacing anyone last night it would have been McBain for Duncan, leave Foran up top and stick Morais out wide for the last 10 mins Yeh Proctor was poor last night but no worse than Zadi
  7. I sincerely hope we don't live to regret that equaliser and it was such a sloppy goal to concede!! We looked shakey for the majority of the first half. I don't think the pitch helped but our midfielders looked as though they needed re-introduced to each other, Black & Kerr struggled to win any first or second ball and I don't think either of them completed a 10 yrd pass. McBain was very poor last night, his passing was attrocious (not helped by the pitch), he left Zadi exposed on a few occasions and his attempts to take on their right back were laughable. Everytime we broke from defence the move would come to a hault as soon as the ball came to our left side, which is a shame because I think McBain has been terrific since he's been back in the squad. We were playing direct long balls from the back and McLean was winning everything in the air against Foran (sign of things to come), Motherwell won a corner and floated it to the front post where McLean lost his marker (Rossco I think) and headed into the top corner...... as simple as you like. If it was Rossco again then that's 2 corners in 2 games we've conceded and he's been marking the player who scored, although I think you'd find it hard to blame him for the Hamilton goal because he was fouled but worrying statistics when he is likely to be marking the man-mountain Kevin Kyle in our next game. The one thing you can say about Butcher is he has installed some fight in the players and with Imrie, Foran & Morais in the team we look dangerous up top... Imrie got the ball left his man for dead (meg??) and cut back perfectly for Morais to fill the onion bag... great move and great goal. Second half we had the bit between our teeth and Kerr looked like a different player, getting stuck in whenever possible and giving the Motherwell midfield no time on the ball. Imrie always looked like a menace, Foran was working his erse off and the pace of Morais caused their defence a lot of bother. Zadi decided it was time for a wander down the left wing and put in a terrific cross which was missed by everyone in the box apart from Imrie who was standing completely unmarked... instead of taking a touch and slotting it in the net he sissor-kicked it into the top corner, superb finish!! 10 minutes left to guarentee safety and then Motherwell brought on Sutton and we took off arguably one of our best players to replace him with Barrowman and instead of looking like we were going to get a 3rd goal we ended up conceding, as alternative maryhill said it's hard to blame Barrowman for a goal he had no involvement in but we suddenly looked toothless upfront which let the Motherwell team drift further into our half. Their goal was avoidable... the ball from the right wing should have been stopped by Zadi, we had 2 oppertunities to clear the ball in the box until Sutton made a smart finish in the top corner... gutting after their goal the ref made a catologue of ridiculous decisions, obviously trying to avoid booking any Motherwell player... Zadi.... where to start? The guy doesn't know his erse from his elbow when defending, his heading is horrific for a 6ft+ player and I've not seen many professional footballers with worse positional sense, his decision making is shocking and for such a big guy he is a pu55y but at the end of the day he has created our second goal. I wouldn't take the risk but Terry obviously likes a gamble
  8. You must be getting wiser in your old age Johndo... I agree with the most of that :024: 2 is a bit harsh for Proctor but I agree he did have a poor night but no worse than Zebadee, he was woeful in the first half and he should have stopped the cross for their equaliser but he did set up Imrie's goal!!! If he could defend he would be some player btw... McBain had an awful game, don't think the pitch helped but he struggled to get the ball out his feet all game... Imrie, Foran & Morais were running the show but whenever the ball came out left the move would breakdown. I think we could have won the game comfortably if we had a better option on the left wing .... and Morais deserves a 4 as well, he is the new Barry Wilson!!! 10 minutes from safety just hope it doesn't come back to bite us
  9. what bollox! You ashamed of being from the highlands? We should be using every bit of our heritage to enhance the clubs image... I couldn't care less what other supporters/media think of us, we are ICT from Inverness in Scotland... f*ck everyone else!! (even if I have stayed in the central belt for the last 6 years )
  10. Superman!! Have you ever seen them in the same place at the same time??
  11. Any news on ticket prices? feck it... Aye go on then :blah01:
  12. Is meant to be a complete fandango.... we all ready have Imrie we don't need another

  14. Exactly use the current climate as an excuse and get them cheaper than usual contracts.... the banks do it with mortgages all the time why not apply the same ethics to football contracts??
  15. Esson Tokely Pavels Munro Hastings Morais Black Kerr McBain Imrie Foran 1 point succesfully gained at Motherwell
  16. IF we stay up: Iain Vigurs - Aye - 3yr contract Pavels Mihadjuks - Aye - 3yr contract Filipe Morais - Aye - 3yr contract Richie Foran - Aye - 2yr contract Brian Kerr - Aye - 2 yr contract Lionel Djebi-Zadi - Aye - 1yr contract (worth it for a laugh) Eric Odhiambo - Aye - 1yr contract Roy McBain - Aye - 1yr extension Richie Byrne - Naw Thierry Gathuessi - Naw Zander Sutherland - Naw
  17. Me neither, I didn't think Munro missed a trick at the back.... he was excellent against Mirren and solid again yesterday??? Zadi... where to start?? He's Here, He's There, He's every fecking where Djebi-Zadi, Djebi-Zadi!! I think that sums him up perfectly. I actually think he is one of our most exciting players when going forward, he's quick, tricky, boundless energy, good delivery and big enough to cause anyone trouble... problem is he looks completely lost when defending; his positioning is attrocious and he is making the wrong decisions continually. So really when you are looking a Zadi you have to decide, is he offering us more good or bad and with some of our most important matches ever coming up... I just wouldn't want to take the risk but I can understand why Butcher is taking the gamble.
  18. I couldn't make the game and was a bit pi55ed off with myself when I saw how little support our team had for such a crucial match. Then again it was an absolutely crazy choice by Setanta, even though I was glad to see the game without making it up the A9, I can't understand the sense of it... The game was awful at times to be brutally honest... there were moments in the first half when I couldn't look at the TV from embarrasment. Zadi was all over the place and the boy Asamoah was causing him constant hassle down the right wing, I was suprised too see him come out for the second half! We didn't seem to be able to string 2 passes together and for the amount of praise Black has been (deservedly) getting recently he was very quiet all game. There were a few bright sparks when Imrie, Foran & Morais were involved but we never really looked like scoring in the first half. Great start in the second half with an absolute corker from Foran. It was a sickner for them to go up the park and score such an easy goal, which looks like a foul on Tokely from the replays. We never really got going again after that, even when they were down to 10 men it never looked likely that we could get a winner. Disappointed we didn't get all 3 points because if we had just got a bit more support to our front men from the midfield we could be thinking about next season but we are still looking over our shoulders. Imrie, Foran, Kerr & Morais offered the most threat when going forward, Black & McBain were anonomous throughout, Fraer, Munro, Tokely & Proctor get pass marks but Butcher really needs to think long and hard whether Zadi is worth the risk when going into these final 3 games. He made a marked improvement in the second 45 minutes but it really wouldn't have been difficult after watching the first half... the man is a bombscare.
  19. It looked as though Redknapp was weeping when the camera came back to him in the studio, he was either gutted for Chelsea ot he sat on himself
  20. If you felt you had been blatently cheated out of an appearance in the Champions League Final would you not be upset... if it was one or 2 dubious decisions but some of his decisions were ludicrous and I can't blame some Chelsea players for throwing about acqusations First one, Malouda incident... yes he was fouled outside the box originally, and I full understanding of the advantage rule, but the ref has specifically called for the foul inside the box and then moved it outside the box to avoid making a decision. If he was playing advantage his arms should have been extended to confirm so... there is a perfect view at the ref making a decision as soon as foul in the box occurs otherwise I think he was going to let it go out for a corner or goal kick respectively 2nd one, I actually think Drogba made the most of it but his shirt was pulled and you can clearly see Abidal's leg make contact with Drogba's... penalty and red card. Out of all the decisions I think this one is the most debatable and is similar to Henry's claim at the Camp Nou so I can understand it not been given 3rd one, Anelka has skinned Pique and he clearly handled the ball.. ball changes direction... linesman has a clear view.... ref not too far away... 2 debatable/incorrect decisions already made... I have no idea why this wasn't given. I don't think there was anyone in the ground, watching on TV or listening on the radio who didn't expect this penalty to given... as clear as day and you really have to wonder why it was missed or what possible explanation the referee can provide for such a blatent mistake 4th, Ballack has hit a shot and Eto'o has his arm raised to block the shot... I mean come on??? If this was the first or second claim for a penalty I could understand a mistake by the ref but with all that went on before you have to consider this as some sort of personal vendetta... or possible corruption. In all seriousness I don't think I have ever seen such a bad display from a match official EVER! I don't know why everyone is suggesting Man U v Barca will be such a great final... Man U will destroy Barca! I wouldn't be suprised if Ronaldo scores at least a hattrick BTW I am not, in any way, a Chelsea fan I have just played in plenty of matches against 5hit officials and can understand the frustration of the Chelsea players (although Drogba is a c*ck).. you have to bear in mind that some of these guys might never get to play in a Champions League final again and from no fault of their own!
  21. Is there any paper providing player ratings for the game? Not they are ever accurate anyway but it would be interesting to see how Black faired
  22. Since Chelsea were rightfully knocked out of the Champions League it's only right we call the stadium 'The Bridge'
  23. why change the habit of a lifetime?
