  1. Classic blast from the past that!! runnys and stickys, Last touch or power counts... this is whats missing in todays football!! Last touch always!!!!
  2. Any news on Morais?? Someone mentioned he might be off to Partick but is he still considering contracts?
  3. How things have changed... I think it was the old website so I can't bring up any links but were you not head of the campaign to have him ousted at one point?? (apologies if not, my memory is terrible at times)
  4. All the best guys :(
  5. I'd be very impressed if we got him
  6. If so, delighted although not sure we're on about the same player
  7. Delighted McBain has signed a new deal... I expect a big season from him, he could be our most important player
  8. That's the best post you've ever written mate. seems like a back handed compliment
  9. Your for getting we still have Russell Duncan he can do that aswel :017: :015: Duncan's a cracking centre mid, I think he'll be one of our better players in the first division
  10. I think they might be talking about Killie as the club, which could potentially go bust.. I'm sure we'll be fine but I don't think it will have helped us, especially after being relegated
  11. Agree with that, they have struggled to find any decent strikers since Duffy left but for a time (when Latapy was pulling the strings) they did play some good football. I would always prefer wins over style but if you can do both you're on to a winner... I could see him doing well at Hibs.
  12. Worrying....
  13. I find it amazing that a journalist has the cheek to try and censor any fan's opinion Charles, I've always had respect for you and your opinion but this has to be the most ridiculous post you've made on a forum. Q) The most successful club in the world?? A) Barcelona Q) the majority shareholder A) the fans If you read any of my previous posts you'll find that I'm very grateful for what the board have done and how they've done it but to suggest they don't deserve criticism when things go wrong, or to have the arrogance to suggest that improvements can't be made or suggested is just ridiculous.
  14. retired players only I would think Calder Teasdale Mann Christie Wilson Stewart
  15. Sincerely, well done lads... great publicity for the club and a terrific advertisment for our fans. :021: :021: Was good to read Robbo getting interviewed about it as well... get him involved for the next one - he could do with losing a few pounds :P
  16. I have a lot of time for Falkirk fans after living in Stirling for 5 years but they have to be the most pessimistic/realistic set of supporters I've ever come across... I don't think they can have anything to complain about. Yogi's 6 years at the club have been a complete success, promotion, safety, cup final, good youth policy and a very decent brand of football..... tbh I'm suprised he's managed it because he's denser than the dead sea!! I'm sure everyone involved will agree it was the right time for him to leave after their scare with relegation but I can guarentee they wont be too far from it next season either, no matter who they appoint. It would be interesting if Falkirk were relegated next season - they will have lasted the same number of seasons in the SPL as we have.
  17. Although there is no old firm I still think we will have decent attendances. Winning games will make a huge difference and there are still big matches; County, Livi and Plastic (There can be only one) will bring attendances up as well as the Dundee & Dunfermline matches... plenty to look forward too :024:
  18. todays courier has an article saying that two midfielders are mulling over contract offers from ICT, both players are from england-shire, one would be a free transfer and the other a loan signing, Grassa hopes to have heard by the end of the week regarding deals. Also the article states that he hopes to have had some indication by the end of this week on whether the players offered deals at the end of the season are going to stay; foran, kerr, proctor etc..... not much but better than nothing True Cheers, in Glasgow so I miss out on the Courier :)
  19. CC is a f*cking legend... don't care what anyone says about him as a manager but as a representive of the club he deserves nothing but respect. The guy genuinely cares about the ICT and the city, he is biased as feck whenever he's on the TV or radio but I fecking love it. I felt let down when he resigned as manager because I had backed him to the hilt but I could understand he was doing it in the best interests of the fans, board and players (in that order) I hope he is forever affiliated with ICT... proper gentleman
  20. Players ain't that intelligent.. contract, money, sign I think the majority of released players will be eager to have their future's sorted asap (I know I would) so if we're not fast we may lose out
  21. So far all we know is that Foran might stay... come on ICT you can do better than that I'm bored 5hitless at work & sick of going onto P&B to find another team signing players GET A MOVE ON!!
  22. Your right, he was a class act up front with Morais against Partick so I must keep that thought in my head, but we will still need another 2 strikers on the books. Thing is it strikes me that if Odhiambo and Foran sign new contracts that I cannot see us bringing in another striker. I would far rather lose Barrowman or Odhiambo and bring in another big striker.. Thoughts?? From what I've seen of Odhiambo I think he'd have a field day in the 1st Division, since Dargo left we have been crying out for pace upfront. I'd be delighted if we could keep a hold of him, still young and there's a good chance we could make some decent coin. I have some sympathy with Barrowman, confidence is as important to a player as any other attribute and he was expected to jump 2 divisions, and in his first season in the SPL, be our main threat up top. I'll be giving him my full support next season and hopefully he'll repay that with a barrow-load of goals (see what I did there)
  23. I see him more as a Poalo Maldini
