or just don't ******* turn up??? You aren't representing ALL the fans point of view so I would appreciate if you all kept your mouth shut until at least after 90 minutes. That way you wont affect the players performance.... and you never know we might even come away with 3 points
-
I was hoping you'd clear up the Wyness one??
-
1 goal
-
As much as I would love to say otherwise Wyness did himself no favours towards the end of his contract... in fact, some would probably argue he struggled as soon as he started playing in the SPL He showed exactly what he is capable of at St Mirren this season.... 1 goal Your just looking for excuses now to get stuck into Brew at least try and make a fair arguement... you already have plenty of ammo

Dargo..... mmmm check Imrie...... mmmm check Esson.... mmm check Rooney..... check Cowie... check possibly his most impressive signings have unfortunately been at United Noel Hunt - playing and scoring regularly for Reading Kalvanes - voted top left back in Scotland and did he not bring Wyness back on loan from Hearts, although I think Christie made the signing?? give him the kitty then sack him (joking)... but seriously the guy has some pulling power and seems to know where to spend money

laugh all you want but what's the difference? Motherwell are interestingly enough playing Hamilton at the weekend Do you think they have been trawling through emails today asking for McGhee's resignation???
-
we aren't even bottom of the league and there is mass hysteria... I actually think we would be overachieving again this season if we finish anywhere above 11th... It's up to Brew (at the moment anyway) to get this team as far up the table as he can come the second half of the season
-
yip very simple but if you have 12 managers and 12 teams and 12 sets of fans and 12 boards all expecting the same thing then unfortunately there is going to be some that can't deliver so you need to put it in perspective by taking into account money spent, age of squad, players already in squad, how good is the support etc. etc. so it is not really that simple Brew is strugglling at the moment and so is the club, we are facing our first real threat of relegation and everyone has hit the panic button... When is a good time to hit the panic button? 3 games to play and 4 points behind? not now anyway (IMO), Brew has tried to completely overhaul the squad because he understands for a club like ICT to maintain we need to have faith in our youth policy, my major criticism is that he has done too much too soon. I think he has managed to free up some cash so I am looking forward to seeing who he buys in January... one thing I think anyone would struggle to argue against is that Brew has an eye for a bargain so I am hoping for another couple of gems. He has PLENTY to work on but I don't think he is a bad manager... arrogant, yes... stubborn, yes.... but name a top manager that isn't???

Hope my initial paragraph is now easier to understand for all those that had trouble realising I was taking the pi55 I am of the belief that if you have a problem you do something about it YOURSELF! For instance, if I were to send an email to the club to raise my concerns over our current form (and yes I am concerned) then I wouldn't come on to this site trying to find backing for a hate campaign.. instead I would hope that other people would forge their own opinions and take whatever action they felt was necessary Scotty/Caley D I'll expect another 3 page reply as usual but I am delighted to see you have taken it upon yourselves to rally the troops "with great power comes responcibility"... or so I've heard Imagine what it would be like if we had fans that would get behind the team, players and manager through this difficult time.... some might argue when their support is needed the most Serious question: What does a manager need to achieve with our squad to win over the support? Does it have to be Uefa qualification within his second season?
-
Bit hypocritical is it not? :thumb04: :018: Do you think we are as daft as your posts obviously

I'd love us to sign a pacey forward (Jackson - St J or Buchanan - Plastic) but it would cost the board to much cash.... it would be nice to have a foreign import so maybe Hagi has someone on his network I think we NEED a centre half though (McPake) and it should be priority for Brew I would also like to see some goals from the centre of the park, whether that be a right winger so Cowie can be pushed into the centre (as RIG suggested) or someone else more direct and likes to play a bit further forward than Duncan & Black
-
I have also organised my own email rebellion against your email rebellion and our main aim is to convince the club to discard emails from toothless yokels. I have gathered together 20 ICT fans with access to internet and all have sent an email to commend the board for their patience and also to thank them for continued service while delivering us into the SPL and doing so without collecting a mountain of debt...... I have managed to speak to 15 of the 'rebels against rebels team' since and all have received an email from the club thanking us for not reacting like a bunch of school kids.... I'd like to thank the board for their speedy reply really though do you think you are doing any good for the club? causing disbelief in amongst the players, putting the club into turmoil... what are you trying to achieve apart from losing someone their job?? I'd expect more responsibility to be shown from senior members on this board... and certainly wouldn't expect to see them openly encouraging supporters to send emails to the club
-
What a sad state of affairs... it's like little kids stomping their feet because they can't get what they want I'm not a massive Brewster fan but does he deserve to have this sort of witch hunt... I mean honestly???? As for the Bazza thing has it occured to anyone that he might be letting him go so he can offer better contracts to Cowie & Black or get in a new player?? Wyness went, it caused a big uproar and we got in Rooney who is younger, and already scored more goals than him and he is coming off the bench most of the time I would have preferred for Bazza to stay on at the club but I am prepared to see if he has a replacement lined up before I get my pitch fork out... Who else do you think we can attract as our new manager??? It'll have to be someone who can get us straight into Europe or he'll be for the chop same time next year when our fans start to get restless I can tell you now what will happen if Brew goes... some hatchet-man will come in on a temporary contract until the end of the season hopefully save us from relegation and then sign a long term deal only for us to find out he isn't the "Special one" our fans become restless yet again and we are back to square one I am far from happy with our current position in the league but I do think there are signs of a good young football playing team

Our fans have been spoilt by previous success IMO, we will never have another Pele, we can't expect to win every game, because we are no longer playing against lower division sides. We wont go through the majority of the season with a higher percentage of wins because we don't have the funding or fan base to compete with most SPL clubs. Brew has obviously realised that the only way the club can sustain is by bringing in our own crop of youth players and picking up players on smaller contracts from lower league clubs. He deserves credit because he has given these players the confidence to compete, however, because we have this inexperience in the team it will take time before we see the benefits. I can't remember 1 season in the SPL when our manager hasn't had at least half our supporters asking for their resignation... and then hide behind the "we are all allowed an opinion" arguement. Yeh, we all have an opinion but some supporters show some responcibility by not jumping on the bandwagon to chase out another manager (why do you think Christie walked out?). It could be any other SPL manager at the helm and unless they pulled off a miracle I guarentee they would be subjected to the same abuse. In short, we are an ungrateful support and there is nothing worse.

What a statement to make before getting pumped 3-0 at home because we started with 1 up front

Would you say he has improved then? Yes, his substitions are better(he actually uses subs now!), we seem to be trying to pass the ball rather than hoof it up the park, unfortunately we had Dods last time round which would make a huge difference to our defence. I'm not saying he is by any means perfect but there has definitely been an improvement Couldn't get much worse though, could it. Our away form is one of the best in the SPL we just need to win some home games... but no it couldn't be much worse Bad managers are judged on results. True again, however this is an extremely tight SPL season and a run of 4 wins we could on for a Uefa spot Why wouldn't he consider it, he hasn'e exactly got a queue waiting for him at the door has he? I was obviously joking
-
I like that he is trying to get us to play football, which is more than what he did in his previous stint, I am impressed that he has belief in our youth players and handed some first team responsibility. His purchases have been excellent but unfortunately the results haven't come yet and our home form has been poor... Rome wasn't built in a day but if Brew can improve our home form we could be on to a winner Good managers are always judged on their signings and Brew has added some real quality and completely changed the shape of the team I for one am glad to see him considering a new contract.... and if all fails hopefully Ynited will come in for him and line our pockets again

Yup Don't agree with this idea that Imrie isn't that good technically, I think its more that he's adapting to the SPL and trying to find some consistency. Yeh, have to say I think Imrie is possibly one of our most technical players... IMO he is a very raw talent and there is still the best to come from him. I'm sure Wilson will keep him right because in my eyes they are both cut from the same mould
-
Although he did give away a penalty in the dying minutes against Killie.. IMO he has offered far more good than bad to the team this season and is quickly becoming my favourite player in an ICT shirt He has offered the link between the forwards and midfield we were missing last season and has created and scored a wedge of our goals so far. I think Brew has made an astute signing and here's hoping he continues as he has started the season
