  1. I hope Brew was watching the game last night and I also hope he is doing everything he can to get Andy Jackson in an ICT shirt I had a dream [pause] that one day Rooney & Jackson will be representing ICT & Ireland as a forward partnership for years to come
  2. I will just leave this here then gutted..... I always thought that Rory would come good in the end for ICT but have to admit when I saw him get his chance against Morton I wasn't impressed All the best to him, I hope he does alright for himself in the lower leagues
  3. Here's my effort, thought I'd go for the River Plate style first attempt so go easy
  4. Have to say he might be a decent signing for us, unfortunately it reflects how poor a squad we have at the moment He will be vying for the left back position with Hastings and probably the first time he's had any decent competition since Golly left the club
  5. I like
  6. Don't think that's what they'll be after but if you decide to open a stall in Spain selling cheap replica ICT tops you might sell 1
  7. that is very nice mate... maybe not enough blue but a cracking design none the less
  8. Considering Falkirk had a reputation for bringing through young exciting talent they have recently done a complete U-Turn.. McNamara, McCann, Bullen and now Pressley considering they had relative sucess when trusting these younger players seems strange that they have gone in a completely opposite direction
  9. Is there any particular reason the strip has to be predominately white?? I would have thought the current away top would have been one of our better sellers... White is so plain it doesn't leave much room for negitiation, think you have to go with a collar because the neck on the last 2 white strips from Errea was attrocious
  10. I'm not 100% but because he wasn't carded at the time of the incident could he not be punished afterwards?? I know this is usually for bad challenges or off the ball incidents but what's the difference, he's still cheating? the interview with Adams afterwards was comical though
  11. good work, the club and yourself Scotty as the legend that is Andy Gray would say... "take a boo"
  12. Sorry just been typing an uber complaint to the Herald Yeh think I mis-read our Latvian friend and what Caley D said, cheers chris123. I think if Brew values his job he will do everything he can to make sure Mihadjuks can play.. I just hope he doesn't burn himself out from being out of action for so long
  13. Mihadjuks is out for our biggest match to date then... I was really looking forward to seeing this guy play on Saturday
  14. nearly spat my lunch at the computer
  15. Esson Tokely Mihadjuks Munro Hastings Duncan McBain Cowie Morais Imrie Barrowman but I expect Cowie and Imrie will be swapped...
  16. I hope to god somone has emailed to complain about how biased that article is... that is an email petition I would be interested in joining!! I live down the central belt and even the Partick fans I work with aren't that bitter shocking
  17. can't argue with any of that (wait for it) apart from Morais being the new Dargo. Morais isn't an out and out striker from what I've seen of him previously and I would still like to see a real investment (about ?100k - ?200k) on a decent centre forward I still think Barrowman could be a good player for us but we need someone with a bit more attitude to lead the line oh and Wyness & Bayne haven't proved anything at their new clubs to make me think that freeing up their wages wasn't a good thing
  18. There has been other questionable tactical decisions but I think the root of all Brew's (and our) problems have been since we lost 20 goals, in Dargo, and the 3rd best defensive record in the SPL, in Dods & Brown! The first transfer window he had a day (? week at the most) to improve the squad and with the purchases he made, in this short period of time, he managed to get us into a more than respectable position in the league. The last transfer window he was waiting to see what was going to happen with Niculae before he could make any signings. I agree though, this is where Brewster went wrong by not making a dominant centre half his priority We have been the shadow of our former selves since Dods left, we have consistently leeked goals and as soon as the team start losing confidence in the defence it gives a negative effect on the rest of the players. I think because Brew was rushed into signing a centre half (McGuire) he has been paying for it ever since. McGuire was never a permanet solution to the problem and isn't half the player/leader Dods was for us but because he was bought half way through last season Brew obviously thought he deserved the start of this season to prove he could be the player Dods was.... and he definitely hasn't been! As good a signing as Morais could be I am more encouraged now we have a big lad at the back and hope he can make himself a permanent fixture in the starting line up and we might start to get back the defensive record that got us the highest postion in the SPL to date. Now we just need to find a replacement for Dargo... any ideas?
  19. I'd prefer it is 11 Scots in the starting line up every week but if there isn't a candidate up to the job you need to find someone who is, doesn't matter where they were born.
  20. First of all he hasn't bought anyone yet .... and let me get this straight you are having a dig at him because he is trying to sign players and improve the squad?? We are ICT, not Chelsea, even if we wanted to we couldn't buy ourselves out of touble Yes he has been mince in the first half of the season and it hasn't been acceptable and he has deserved his criticism but that is a ridiculous comment
  21. ICT's new head of public relations
  22. Firstly, Everyone has the right to their own opinion. What has got me annoyed throughout all this is that some fans have taken it upon themselves to speak for all the supporters when some clearly disagree. Organising email petitions, protests, banners at games... it reflects and represents all supporters and I don't like (and never have) someone speaking for me. I can understand why people would want someone else at the helm but all this organised chaos has reflected badly on the supporters and made us look more like a fickle mob than the loyal support we should be (IMO)
  23. Vyacheslav Hleb? He was rumoured to be signing for Hearts at the beginning of last season but it never materialized. He is an excellent player from what I gather, currently playing for Dinamo Minsk I think? Football manager? tbf football manager is usually pretty accurate i do remember an amazing 17 year old colombian winger on fm 07 who is terrible in real life though too true, although Mark Kerr's still pish though
