Niculaes future to be decided today.....
I believe you may have hit the nail on the head unfortunately. forced out the door my @rse! Niculae will be just as eager to move to another club, he said himself when he made the initial move that he was using us to find another club unless we can afford a year extension to his contract we would be niave not to sell him

Sean Evans
Watched Sean Evans play 2 years ago in the fa youth cup Evans was one of the better players and aparently quite well thought of by Ferguson I'm sure there will be footage somewhere, was shown being shown on sky at the time

Another new signing
Always delighted to see ICT investing in young scottish players.. look forward to seeing this lad getting a chance in an ICT shirt someday
-
Zadi Gone or Not (merged)
the reason County will never become an SPL team is as soon as you produce a player with any talent we'll buy them run along back to P&B now where someone gives a ****
-
Zadi Gone or Not (merged)
Welcome aboard Zadi but again Brewster has made another squad signing, where are all the purchases that are going to improve our first team?? where's the ambition?
-
Bayne attracting attention
well said jigsaw his tenacity to score at Ibrox won't be forgotten or his performance against Celtic in the semi final of the cup although we eventually lost one of the few players that never leaves the pitch without giving 100%
- ICT to relocate?

Andy Barrowman
Last Seasons strikers: Wyness, McCallister, Niculae, Paatelainen, McDonald, Imrie, Bayne... we badly needed a goal scorer IMO This season: McCallister, Wood, Paatelainen, Imrie, Barrowman and we are likely to sell McDonald, Bayne & Niculae we now have a goal scorer, I think Rory can do Bayne's job so it's whether we can find someone that can play with their back to goal like Niculae & Wyness I'd expect 2 more signings upfront but I'm excited to see some of our youngsters get a chance we are almost guarenteed ?500k (although I expect more) for Niculae, which is a huge amount of money so whether that goes towards the contract of a player or the signing fee or both I have confidence we can attract someone to the club Niculae has stated he is likely to leave, so have the club, unless we can extend his contract the club would be foolish not to sell him

New Strips
agreed positive step forward IMO even if some people don't like the strip
-
Andy Barrowman
as mentioned previously, just delighted we've made a signing whether he'll be up to SPL level, time will tell but 29 goals in one season is an impressive record no matter what level you're playing at considering we were going for Buchanan last year think Barrowman is a step forward but IMO we still need at least another 2 strikers if Bayne and Marius go Barrowman is our wildcard for next season we need 2 proven/SPL forwards

New Strips
if anyone does manage to get down to the shop can they find out what size a normal medium is? in Glasgow so going to have order mine online and know from past experience what the sizes are like

Brewster in Salzburg
my problem is that I think Brewster is still more concerned with forwarding his own career than ICT's. Obviously, if Brew is ever to improve his reputation he has to do it with ICT but I just get the impression he will be off again as soon as he gets a better offer. There is a time for European coaching qualifications and after finishing 9thin the league, now is not that time. my bad I didn't realise the training was mandatory
-
Brewster in Salzburg
I think the main point has been missed here What the feck is he doing in Salzburg?? By all accounts it sounds like a group of lads going to watch the footie ?The Pro-Licence is mandatory now. We take them to Euro 2008 matches and then they have to write up reports on what they have seen. We are here to work, it?s not a holiday. We have group discussions every day. However, it?s not dry classroom stuff. It is real football talk. Jim Fleeting organised tickets for all the games, which was hard because they are like gold dust. We are also taking some of the candidates to watch a Russian training session. It will be great for them to see how someone like Guus Hiddink [the coach] works.? only the guilty have excuses ready before they've been accused...... and I guarentee Brewster isn't paying for this out his own pocket Brew should be spending every possible second in finding replacements for those that have left and players that will progress the squad.

Callum Elliott
"is it true your going after Callum Elliott"? answer: I'm sorry, I'm not in any position to comment on another team's player! it really isn't that difficult
-
Callum Elliott
Then he speaks to the Press & Journal coming out and naming the exact targets he previously said we should be keeping quiet about: :017: you would think after the amount of players we have missed out on because of this sort of incompetence that the board would actually learn :008: :008:KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT UNTIL THE DEAL IS DONE!!! :008: :008: I would be happy to see Elliott at ICT for what it's worth

MARIUS WATCH
I was playing footie tonight so couldn't watch the game, if anyone has Niculae highlights for the game or video of any of his shots it would be greatly appreciated Well done Niculae on getting a start... he may not have excelled this season as an ICT player but he still goes down as an ICT legend!!!
-
MARIUS WATCH
I'd take the money and run, we've lost out on far too much money by letting players finish their contracts Niculae is a luxury player and one we/Orion have struggled to afford, if we sell him it is money for nothing that can be used to progress the club saying all that, I'd love to see Niculae with a pacey striker (Offiong/Buchanan/Jackson) upfront, I think we'd bag the goals and maybe even make top 6. It would just be criminal not to take a decent offer if it came along
-
MARIUS WATCH
or your upset that after your berrating of Niculae that he might turn out to be one of the best bits of buisness the club has ever done... no?
-
MARIUS WATCH
I really don't think the game was half as bad as the BBC made out. If you were watching from a French perspective then yes they were gash but Romania were well organised, played with no fear and never panicked on the ball. Niculae looked fresh and more than adequate at that level, I'm sure he will have more involvement as the tournament progresses
-
Niculae earns us UEFA windfall
?2 Mil in the bag... easy!! He replaced a player who was last bought for ?6 mil and is probably worth twice that after an excellent season thought he played really well tonight and wasn't out his depth hope for ?2 mil accept anything over ?1mil

Niculae earns us UEFA windfall
my bad :tic01:

Niculae earns us UEFA windfall
as far as buisness decisions go Niculae could be one of the best ICT have made, if he plays one game for Romania he should go for a tidy sum more than meriting his high wages
