  1. great praise indeed I look forward to seeing him back in an ICT shirt
  2. I don't think anyone can argue that Bayne's goal scoring ratio is acceptable at this level but in terms of effort he has no rival. I have respect for anyone that has given their all for ICT compared to half hearted attempts we've seen at times this season. Bayne has put in some excellent peformances from ICT but just not enough to merit his place. In terms for the future of ICT I think we have a similar/better/younger candidate in Rory
  3. Bayne has never been favoured as a first team favourite yet whenever he has got his chance he has given everything. He has scored some VERY important goals for this club and has never moaned about his lack of first team oppertunities, we may have out grown him as a club but he certainly deserves more respect than that quote. I expect he will be off and I think it will be a good deal for everyone involved, we get some cash, Bayne gets first team footie and St J (I expect he'll move to) will get a very decent signing he has been a great signing for the club and I wish more players had his attitude
  4. cracking game I'd have Dobbie & O'Connor btw... if Brew got Dobbie into the gym he'd be a belter of a player Think the BBC have to be given credit today, the coverage has been excellent. Even in the studio there is meaningful discussion and Nevin, Levein & even McCall are showing good knowledge and appreciation for the game
  5. great win today.. it might have been against a broken team but 6 goals against anyone is an achievement Vigurs & Rory getting on the scoresheet shows promise for the future, all is not as bleak as once suspected and Imrie looks to be a great signing by Brew fair play to all involved today :clapping03: :clapping03:
  6. 6!!!! :010: :010: :010: :010:
  7. Lets all do the Tokely.. lets all do the tokely na na na na
  8. easy street now
  9. yaaaassss Bazza
  10. I'll be surprised if there is a professional club anywhere that doesn't practice defending free kicks religiously... and especially with the amount we have lost throughout this season you would think Brew would have emphasised it
  11. fair play to Rangers... and with 6 scottish players in the starting line up all this anti football is complete pesh European football teams have been doing it for years, Italians especially (I had to laugh when I saw Fiorentina's post match comments).. it's about time a British team stuffed it up them Liverpool won the Champions league playing the same way and Man U did it 2 nights before against Barca and you didn't hear a peep. Rangers have done what was required to win matches, and could have snatched it with 3 or 4 close chances towards the end... if Fiorentina played so well tell me exactly how many saves Alexander had to make?? it's about time a Scottish team won a European trophy, I'll be cheering them on in the final, just as I did Celtic in Seville btw.. how cool was whittaker with his penalty, I was hugely impressed with him throughout
  12. 2-1 :018: THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT... THE FUTURE IS RORY!!!
  13. Get in Rory... LEGEND!!!
  14. can't really disagree was thinking that while listening to the match at Tynecastle, over a career Wilson has shown some absolute genius and creativity doing things that no other player would think about. I would love to have seen him and Niculae playing together when Wilson was a bit younger, I think they would have bagged the goals Wyness, all though he has one of the best first touches in the SPL he has been found out as a one trick pony
  15. Just back from Wigan v Tottenham, cracking game and an excellent night out in Blackpool after ICT could definitely learn a few thing s from Wigan as an up and coming club trying to increase their support. ?20 a ticket, free inflatables, clappers and balloons handed out to all the kids. The best was the beer served inside the stadium at half time... superb really enjoyed the weekend would thoroughly recommend it to anyone
  16. on the other side of things I hope Brewster is looking at the Dundee players, Scott Robertson will be at the top of a few SPL clubs lists for next season
  17. Or sacked? yeh... that would work
  18. Sounds like a complete mess Why has everything suddenly gone to 5hit? We deserve everything we get, if true... and no doubt whatever we are fined will affect what the club has to spend the start of next season I hope whoever did the encroaching gets fined just as heavily
  19. Sampdoria and a French team called Stade Malherbe Caen There is another strip I've seen this season similar to the Sampdoria one but instead of the white, red and black going horizontally they go vertically in one bundle on the left hand side looked smart but can't remember what the club was any one got any ideas?
  20. quite like.... obviously without the St Georges cross or...
  21. we have to take risks to progress as a club, (I think it would be hard for anyone to argue with that) but has it been a success... not really! IMO we had to go for him knowing that he was available but probably bad timing when what we needed this season was a tall strong centre half and a pacey striker (i.e. Offiong) to replace Dods and Dargo Niculae is a better Wyness (only because his height and heading ability give a different dimension), they play best with back to goal and someone running beyond. I think it's hard to criticise either of these players when they haven't had the right partner up front with them... if Brew has any sense he will get Barrowman and hopefully we will also see the best of Niculae next season. Only problem being that unless we sell him in the January transfer market we'll see no money
  22. I'm the same Birmingham and Everton top of the pops just now I used to love watching West Ham when Redknapp was in charge and they had all the youngsters coming through, Rio, Lampard, Defoe, Joe Cole, Carrick... and the likes of Sinclair, *****, Hislop, Pearce and Di Canio at their best but then Roeder screwed that all up and now a days I just don't like media-hugging-Curbishley For quality of football just can't beat Man U just now, I don't think I've seen many teams, if any at all, over different eras that could beat Man U the way they're playing at the moment Going down to see my first Premiership game next week Wigan v Tottenham... probably nothing game but usually guarenteed goals with Tottenham
  23. a win against dons would be a massive plus after the score last week would be great to finally get one over the dons
  24. Harry Chibber replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
well it's a goal anyway fair play to the lad
