  1. Don't know but last week they did a divorce in the dugout. Congrats to CCC & GJ. :021:

The trust are doing it because the club has asked us to help them in this way. I have to say that by way of payment or incentives nothing specific as yet has been offered.
  5. :clapping03: Excellent news.

I know this has been brought up before, and some of you may have seen requests about it recently, but do have a read and consider if you can help. Inverness Caledonain Thistle is keen to put together a Ground Crew who would be able to help get the pitch, stadium and its surrounds ready should severe weather strike in the run up to any home game. In the past, last minute calls for volunteers have gone over the internet and local radio, but the club is now keen to see a properly trained and equipped group who can be called out when the need arises. If you would like to be involved please contact the ICT Supporters' Trust on [email protected] or call 07879 221569.

Rankin didn't even travel to Ibrox yesterday. I saw him out jogging at Inshes just before noon. So does this perhaps suggest that Brew doesn't think he's fit or strong enough. Even if he wasn't scheduled to be on the bench you would think he would be there as cover in case anyone got injured in the warm up.
  8. Seems like a scheme to try and keep Rangers at bay rather than try and be positive. By 34 seconds past three it had backfired.
  9. I think he's done pretty well thus far. No points from our first six games followed by ten from the next five games shows progress. I didn't really like the way he was appointed but I have no problem with the man himself or what he is achieving.
  10. I agree. Picking a goalkeeper based on which one is less of a worry is no way to go.
  11. Is that what they call a caravan through there now? Or maybe a Transit van? :015:
  12. Wise words, MacBandy, wise words indeed. In big games the atmosphere tends to be better as the crowd rises to the challenge.
  13. Just as well they weren't bottom of the league, eh. Charlie with Alex Bone - the new Viccy Park dream team.

How bad must Preston Athletic be to have been beated by Golspie. It will be a miserable week for Brora fans up there.

It certainly was just like watching Brazil - trememdous stuff.

Apparently you could ahve heard it on BBC Radio CUmbria who had a man there providing commentary. :017:
  17. Jealously is a terrible thing, Richard. :023:
  18. Of course, you'd be welcome late or not. Hopefully see you there, Buffy.
  19. I agree and I think Hearts targeted Black and his temper from the off today. I think it was Kingston who pole-axed him after about a minute and should have been booked. Well done for keeping the head, Blackie.

Aye, very good but his excitement may have got the club into hot water with the beaks in Glasgow who, I'm reliably informed, are expressing displeasure at the number of times fans enter the pitch at TCS. This has mainly been at the away end in the past but it doesn't matter what end really as ICT are still responsible. Get it into your heads people, if you keep breaking the rules and ignoring the warnings there are going to be consequenses for you and your team.

Thank you, Mantis, so definitely two different trophies.

This the trophy I remember (courtesy of caledonianfc.co.uk). So what happened to this Victorian piece of silverware? [img width=500 height=334]

Has the North of Scotland Cup trophy changed? I seem to remember a far grander and more elegant piece of silverware.

Very enjoyable afternoon. Both sets of players deserve credit as they had played yesterday and another 120 minutes today was the last thing they needed. Dale Gillespie's winner was a cracker - think Zidane for Real Madrid at Hampden and you won't be far wrong. McNulty looks like our most eccentric keeper since Jimmy Calder and must have been outside his box four or five times during the game. Liked the look of Jamie Duff who was captain and really seems to be coming on as a player.
