  1. Henry Cooper is a bloody legend, I still have a few videos of his fights, he had phenomnal movement and timing for those days - unfortunately he tended to block with his face, hence the scar tissue. i tell ya what though - if that fight hadn't have been stopped Cooper would have definately won on points over Ali.
  2. I must have been lucky on my journeys then. Wireless Internet, working electrical sockets for your laptop or whatever, a decentish buffet car (still way too expensive), reasonable staff and only 1 majorly late journey out of tleast 40 or 50 including around a dozen to London.
  3. Having only been out of school under 3 years ago it already seems like forever, I seriously wonder what it's going to be like when (or rather if) I reach some of your folks' age! My memories from the IRA include a certain fire which broke out in the chemistry dept and watching the good ol' teachers v pupils football games where there a few dodgy tackles and one particularly memorable clash of heads. pretty **** boring compared to everyone else's stores it must be said.
  4. Never a better word said - brew is the man for the job on sat but i can't see him starting.
  5. Edinburgh City Council - in a similar circumstance to Rig - basically the are useless - they even admitted there is a 6 month lead time between them receiving confirmation of student status and the stopping harrassing me for money I don't owe them. First Scotrail. The MOST unprofessional company ever - cannot believe they way they are run - doublecharged me for train ticket by accident then took 45 days to get the money back. Had trains leaving early, train tickets not arrive on time, an 8.5 hour journey between Edinburgh and Inverness. GNER are ten times better
  6. We really need 2 good defenders in, with experience and guts.
  7. Time to bring Jimmy Calder out of retirement. actually i thin k fraser will do just fine if we can get a solid defence in from of him.
  8. Idiots, you think it helps the team in any way by giving our own players abuse, alright mikey fraser has had a few howlers but he is the b est we've got and i feel he is still a good young player. I reckon you're lucky all you got was the V's for your abuse - do us all a favour and pipe down if all you're going to do is give your own side abuse.
  9. I heard JR and Donald Park had a big style fall out, i'm not sure why that'd affect brew's attitude towards him though, who knows. i rate Rankin as a class player and surely he should at least be making the bench.
  10. Ritchie Hart i think youll find :rotflmao:
  11. well said - he may have some small anger managment issues but, in my eyes he's one of the few who is pretty reliable at the moment (og excepted)
  12. Managed to make it up the road for the game with my flatmate 'monthecaley' - the worst performance I have ever seen from Inverness in person - the only good football was in the last 10 mins of the 1st half. I really did think we missed Marius today - all we did was hoof it up the park, there was little in the way of structured passing and any one-touch football with the exception of tokley's ball into the box in the 1st half... Agreed the refereeing was pretty terrible but the perfomance was about a millions miles away from that against grenta - hopefully brew was kicking some arses in there after the game. On a positive note - nice to see a substitution before the 84th minute...
  13. Brewster is only saying that to discredit the SFA who have been scrutinising the allegation that Zibi Malkowski is in fact a goal keeper, and not as they believe a striker who has been disguised to help us get an extra man on the bench. I can see why they would question whether this man was truely a goalkeeper but they should surely give us the benefit of the doubt :023: :029:
  14. Asking for a Rangers to for my 7th birthday, man how i cringe now (that was Pre-ICT). Wish i still had it for when i'm low on sh*t-tickets...
  15. A Tat of Brewster??? I though he had a zimmer these days anyway?
  16. I think we are all agreed that Malkowski should NOT be anywhere near the goals for the rest of the season (and that means on the bench, as opposed to a referance to his very questionable positioning which means he pretty much isn't anywhere near the goals most of the time anyway!)
  17. Bag Points: Malkowski Malkowski Malkowski! Kicked 2 spot kicks straight out of the park in the first half, terrible hands for the first goal and some dodgy decisions like running to the edge of his box for a punch - can't help but feel that if it had been fraser in goal we could have at least had a point today. Marius: felt his positioning could have been better in the opponents box, but some good off the ball play. Tokley - poor header but good performance otherwise IMO. Good Points: Wyness - great play from him and of course that 100th goal, by far our best threat Black - hit some good balls in - like the one duncan got on the end of, was a bit dominated by the afc players when in possessention though Malkowski: he won't play in goals for the rest of the season now - that has to be good Overall performance: I thought ICT were unlucky to miss out on a point today, they really ha Aberdeen under pressure for a lot of the 2nd half - just missing that extra bit of class that could have brought on a goal - i'd be interested to see bayne on for atleast 45 min instead of niculae. Finally - what is with brew's far-too-late-to-matter subs? Niculae should have come off after 60 mins...
  18. The fact Har didn't appear in court for the entire case makes me think he isn't quite ready to totally face up to what he has done to be honest. Most sheriffs would insist he had to stand in front of court to exlain himself as opposed to a soliciter seaking on his behalf he is lucky to get away with this and to be honest it makes me think he isn't man eough to stand up in court and admit his wrong-doings, this upsets me quite a lot. Added to that the fact he pled not guilty then changed his plea, and then on conviction he had an interview with the HN which hinted at the fact he only pled guilty because he felt he would be convicted either was and he was in fact not guilty of possession. If he truely is rmorsful then i say he deserves a second shot for sure - send him off to the centre out of his own wages and give him a shot to start again, but if as i fear he's not leared his lesson then frankly i wouldn't welcome back at the club. So i say to Mr Hart - prove to us all tht you deeply regret it and want to stay a part of the club and rebuild your and the clubs reputation and Ifor oe wil support you all the way.
  19. Aberdeen have got a pretty sound defence in comparison to us, but our recent form is a lot better, I'd be happy with a draw from this, however i reckon we'll either win 1-0 or lose 2-0. I really hope we can keep it tight at the back.

  21. I think the Rangers shop is long gone and I thought that an ICT shop would be a good idea as well but it's hard to say how well it would do. Though the Pars have one in their town centre as do Hearts. although romanov hasn't been paying the rent for the hearts store for the last 6 months or so!
  22. Shocking - whatever happened to freedome of speech. No-one has to visit that forum so people's views are not being forced on anyone. I've not seen the posts in question but this is just ridiculous.
  23. A few weeks ago hearts would have been a good starting point for a win - they are so unpredictable these days that they could turn up and play their *** off or get walked over by brew and co. We can only hope the fact they have absolutely no team spirit and the worst diver in the world playing for them will help us. Added to that - i'd rather be playing the hearts team that beat rangers at the weekend than the hearts team of 2 years ago - gordon, hartley, pressely, etc - they are much scarier players to be up aginst than the kauness b-side they have at the moment.
