STRIKERS!
To be honest at the moment I find it quite worrying where the next goal is going to come from, that's three in a row without a strike and a lot of huffing and puffing around opposing teams goalmouths. A total lack of confidence to have a direct shot, wanting far too much time on the ball and nobody who can get a free kick on target. Caley D stated on the match day thread that Nick Ross was played as a lone striker yesterday, sorry but listening to the commentary he missed a couple of sitters again this week. Nick is not a striker so why is he in this role and recognised strikers are playing wide or on the bench, the one he missed against St Midden a couple of weeks ago was unbelievable. I've noticed a few players 'off the boil' recently including Hayes, he needs to stop believing all this hype about moves to bigger clubs and get on with playing for ICT, he's a very frustrating individual IMHO who could and should be a lot more involved in games. Next week is our biggest game of the season for me, win it and we have a nice cushion for the remainder of the season, lose and Dumbfarmlife will take heart and put the pressure on the clubs around them. Don't want another last day Falkirk scenario so lets get it right Mr Butcher.

Next week is a must win if we don't want to be dragged back into the mire. Biggest worry is where the goals are going to come from

Orion extend sponsorship
Good news Alex, in the current market it's great to have a committed sponsor. You must be offshore just now............too much time for papers and forums

More of these type of community projects would go a long way to having local kids supporting ICT instead of the old infirm. Yesterdays paltry crowd is an indicator of how little we have achieved since our senior bow.

Richie signs on
I'm delighted for the club and the man............an inspiration to all around him on the park.

Just thawing out now. What a magnificent team performance, can't fault anyone although a little baffled by the sponsors MOM. Have not been an admirer fo Greg Tansey to date, but what a shift he put in. His passing was superb and also his tackling today was immense, never put a foot wrong. As for Richie Foran, what an inspiration as a club captain, the man was outstanding. Never mind looking at the teams below us after this performance, we should purely be concentrating on overtaking those above and aiming for our best ever league finishing position!!

Game OFF
That's me just home after another late postponment, totally frustrated once again by the contempt shown for both sets of fans with this farce. If there had been any doubt about this fixture and given the weather forecast a decision should have been made the day before. I left Aberdeen at 7.00am to ensure plenty of time what with the early kick off and all. Think it's totally ludicrous that an inspection is called for less than three hours before kick off with most fans already in Inverness or very close. I met up with 'Home Fans' in the social club who had travelled from Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen for the match who were all similarly minded, however not surprised by the decision. So what does this week-end hold for us?...........any lessons learned or thought given to the support.................I seriously doubt it. Don't seem to be able to find any explaination or dare I say apology on the official site............says it all really. Think I may just prepare an invoice for all of my costs and present it to our chairman.

Foran's best game
Tempted and all as I am to single out individual posters (who don't seem to have a problem singling out individual players) I cannot believe that anyone can slate Ritchie Foran's performance yesterday. He was immense and led the team in a role which suited him to perfection. The commentators and Sunday press had him as man of the match, in a losing side, yet the detractors are still out with the long knives, get a grip and give the man some well deserved credit.

Which unit have they booked you into??

Terry gives five week warning or else
Just go to the "Team Info" and check the figures as a direct comparison from this time last year..........depressing statistics, probably best ever league position as opposed to our current worst ever

Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Proctor came on for Meekings, commentators baffled as to why and Meekings apparently not happy at going off. That was 73 mins, winner scored in 76 mins with Bambi sleeping at the near post by all accounts.

Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Bambi on ice did it for me..........it took all of 3 minutes for him to fall asleep and make his mark on the game........agree about Ross and his finishing.......another totally frustrating afternoon with no apparent change from the management team's stubborn methods.

Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Wish I could share your optimism, same old same old.............poor finishing, questionable sustitutions..........and what about the timing FFS..........what was Sutherland supposed to do when he is sent on in the 91st minute! :irritated: !
