Terry Butcher backs team GB
Totally disagree, would be setting a very dangerous precedent and could not trust FIFA under any circumstances. This would be the first step towards losing our national status and identity as a footballing nation.

BBC Goals of the Season
Like; Gomas and Grainger distance strikes, my type of goals. Dislike; Imrie's first minute strike, had just placed a large wager on a home win and only reached the top of the main stand stairs when I saw my money disperse courtesy of that wee ned!!

Whos happy playing the Dons on 24th Dec
Personally I recall us being extremely grateful to Aberdeen for accommodating us to gain SPL status. Initially when we were seeking backing and support for admission I presented the AFC copy of our petition and received great support and encouragement from those within Pittodrie. I'll be in my usual seat on Christmas Eve, probably with a 6 hour round trip, let's just hope the biggest problem with our "dung heap" visits, the A96 is passable and safe for all fans.

Caledonian Scarf?
Am i right in thinking Ex ICT player Martin Bavidge is the son of (the rather gifted) Ex Caley player Mitch Bavidge? Yes Smee, you are correct, Martin is indeed Mitch's son. He used to come to our games quite regularly when Martin was on the books.

ICT -V- Hearts : Matchday Thread
If the rules had been applied black would have been sent off three times in the last ten minutes..............for simply kicking the ball away, unbelievable how he just kept rubbing the "edinburgh" Referee's nose in it with no retribution. In all my years watching senior football I have never witnessed such an inept performance from match officials. You would normally expect this blatant leaning against old firm opposition, not their clones from the east. Never have I seen so many sweetie paper rustlers in the main stand getting on their feet and giving the officials pelters complete with Kessock type expletives to boot.

Fixtures after the split
More likely Wednesday May 4th I'm told, but yet to be confirmed by the SPL. This means three home matches in a week - May 4, 7, 11. Having spoken to the manager about this at lunch time, I don't think I'm out of order telling you now, an hour before broadcast, that his other concerns are having to play in Perth at 2pm on a Monday (with classic TB understatement he suggests there will be "about 10 people there") and the last five games of the season (based on Celtic being May 4th) taking place in 15 days. Just underlines the total ineptitude of these muppets running our game. Splits, 10 team league, blinkered vision, death wish.

Kilmarnock -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Have made a week-end of it down here and went in to see Harry at the Ship Inn today. Good craic, good Guinness and we 'reviewed' the photos from the game last season. Let him know the boys are planning a wee excursion if Ayr end up playing the Gudgies for a place in the first division, delighted to have the additional support! Sends his regards to all.

Ayrshire away day
Very poor fayre given what was at stake. We looked good for about fifteen minutes and then the wheels came off and it looked like a laid back end of season stroll in the sun. So frustrating with many wayward passes and being honest some players appearing to lack interest. Team selection; no Duncan and Munro, really baffles me with Cox and Ross struggling in midfield and Tokely covering every blade of grass to prop up the defence. All in all glad it's over and if this is what to expect when the stakes are high I won't be attending any SPL post split games this season. What a contrast from our "day out" in Ayrshire this time last season.

Ayrshire away day
Already checked into my hotel in Ayr thanks to the manager being an ICT fan. Bookie then the Hunting Lodge................don't know if the wife would approve of the "fanny by gaslight" exploits

What's your fondest memory of Roy for ICT
Then again a certain ex-manager might have a say in where he plays next season (along with Golly) Have to agree with Mannies selections as well.

Scottish Cup Quarter Final Roll Call
I'll be in Los Cristianos, having a few in Goodfellas Bar with my Man City supporting owner pals. They always find a station for me to watch ICT games and the last time I saw a Celtic cup tie there Denzil scored the winner. Hope this is an omen, especially with my 35/1 Billy Hill ticket still running!!

Butcher & Malpas
We always struggle when Russell is dropped/scapegoat, yet Cox is picked ahead of him. Said it before and will repeat, Cox is no match for Duncan in any shape or form and his backtracking in particular infuriates me..........just gives up and looks as though he can't be arsed.

Shane...
I'm with Richturd on this one, thought the game passed him by and he never really got involved.

10 team SPL marches on
"commerciality of the current structure in Scotland" Says it all for me, fans and their opinions don't count, just listen to the likes of Stewart Milne at Aberdeen sucking up to the old firm and bleating absolute nonsense about how good it would be for scottish football.

Perth Preview & Report
Hope we match their Elginesque "away day" numbers, don't see a roll call thread this week.

Scottish Cup run....
You'd be more than welcome SP. I'm really surprised you got in before Naelifts when there's a whiff of free drink

Highland Huns
What a load of tosh. I've lived in Aberdeen for almost 40 years and in my experience there is nothing other than admiration and respect for what Caley Thisle have achieved and how we have established ourselves in the Scottish game. I'm in Inverness this evening and left the "Caley Club" about an hour ago. What pisses me of is the amount of "Huns" who still frequent the club and think they have a divine right to loudly bad mouth Caley Thistle fans (in our own domain)and confirm their loyalty to the Boyne or whatever else these bigots pretend to understand aboud 400 years of Irish history which has absolutely feck all to do with the Highlands of Scotland. Seventeen years down the line I get seriously annoyed with these morons who should be supporting their local club and buying thier brats Caley Thistle strips instead of old filth merchandise.

Scottish Cup run....
I got 35/1 on the day of the last round before we played Elgin Shi**y. On the Monday we were down to 16/1, tasty odds and the drinks are on me if we win the cup!!
