I think a player like blackie won't tie himself down for longer than 2years, it's not in his best interest to do so. I think if he signs it'll be two years at the most and I think that would be best for both club and player to be honest. I really hope he signs, but it won't be anything more than two years.

i showed a little concern with how many clubs he had been with earlier, however, if these reports are correct then seems like we might be lucky with this one....lets hope.

Who was that? Zadi is 6' 2"....pedantic I know to be fair Alex your correct, Zadi is only 6'2". i'm 6' and he was only a tiny bit taller when i met him.

yes i maybe should have put that in there, obviously i dont think we should buy just anyone of that dimensions, he needs to be able to play as well, i just thought that went without saying.

we definitely need a 6'3 plus CB that's for sure, we really struggle to win the ball in the air in defence as our defenders are usually smaller than the strikers they play against...now i know heading is all about timing but we do need that pressense in the CB roll. possibly a player that can play both RB and LB effectively. we have enough midfielders. we need an experienced striker to guide our younger strikers.

can't believe some people on here are having a go at markus...the poor guy has had no luck with injuries, he has obviously decided it's best to resign from the club for whatever reason, i doubt it's for any reason other than the right one in his and the clubs mind.

just back from the game, oh the attendance was i think over 6000. em i felt we were unlucky today, maybe deserved a draw, we missed blackie in the second half i think. just need to get that ball in the back the net, bounce of the ball in the box maybe against us but we are creating chances, just need to finish them. individually i thought our best players were black, vigurs, duff and cowie. barrowman put up a good fight against the two big horses at the back, however, it was our two ian's who were again passing the ball on the deck every chance they got...black and vigurs look frustrated at lack of movement from other players in the team...top football brains these two, maybe noone else on the same wave length...its a shame. all in all a bit unlucky to lose the game, a draw a fair result.

yeah i reckon brew should stick with same team and tatics as last week too, i thought imirie playing up front with barrowman was effective. that leaves the ball players in midfield such as blackie and vigurs to get the ball up to strikers feet. i hope for all three points but reckon it'll be a draw.

Brew said in one of the papers that those who had been given a one year contract still had a lot to prove so don't expect contract talks to start this year. yeah i think he said that at the beginning of the season, however, it must be considered soon, as wood and especially vigurs is starting almost every game. it would suck if we were to miss out on keeping future prospects just because the club didn't let them know were they stood.

i know that vigurs, sutherland, wood and kerr's contracts are up at the end of this season, maybe not priority but need to get these guys signed too...especially vigurs and wood i say.

Fraser won't leave, as for blackie it all depends on who offers and what the offers are.

its unbelievable, every seat at fir park is filled tonight for the game against nancy, when have you ever seen that...we know that clubs in scotland have the fan base so why dont these so-called fans go to every game...what a league the spl would be then if every game had capacity crowds....its such a shame this doesn't happen

Ferguson, Hartley, Brown, Fletcher, Stewart and Arfield are all ahead of him at the moment. i still think he's a little off even being considered for a scotland call up, however, i would say Black is far ahead of Arfield...iain vigurs is already better than Arfield. As talented as I think Black is, have you seen Arfield. The boy is special. i just think Arfield is average, nothing great...just a good average scottish player. Arfield will be Scotland's most creative player within five years. Black is an excellent player, but offers virtually nothing going forward with the exception of the odd pop at goal. well i do agree with the lack of forward play from black but i think he plays a diiferent role from Arfield, but now anyway i think Black is a better player, i was at the away game to falkirk and black was controlling that midfield. as everyone will gather by now i am a maasive fan of vigurs and think he has more potential than arfield so i dont think arfield will be scotlands most creative player within five years. i seen vigurs rip apart arfield in every reserve game they played against each other. Do either Vigurs or Black have any under 21 caps? Has Alex Ferguson had Vigurs or Black watched? all im saying is when thse players have come up against each other Arfield has come up second best in my opinion. this is my opinion, i think black is better than Arfield and i think Vigurs is technically one of the best players i've seen in the spl and when he has had as much games as Arfield he'll be better. your not going to change my view. im not asking you to change yours i respect your opinion but we're just two different ppl with different views, thats all. ;) Fair doos. i hate cheating but i dont think what he did was cheating....why should defenders be allowed to fly in tackles without touching the ball because thats what was happening, anywhere else on the park then thats a free kick because its seen to be impeding the player, so why not a pen when its in the box??

After yesterdays reserve game I also feel I really need to add some comments. I was disgusted at the abuse being shouted at Rory, a grown man verbally abusing a young boy at his place of work (and not for the first time) made me feel sick. Call yourself a supporter??? Tell me how you have 'earned' your right to criticise (especially so loudly)? Do you also think you have earned the right to be abusive? I dont think so. And I dont believe you payed yesterday, so there goes the 'ive payed so I can express myself' excuse. Who needs the away fans when there's home fans like that. I had heard there was some idiot shouting abuse at Rory at the Morton game and yesterday I found out it was you! Tell me again what gives you that right? Oh yeah, was it because you have 'earned' it by being part of the supporters trust and buying a ticket? Doesnt wash im afraid. I wonder what police would say if you did the same to Rory on the street.... I dont blame Rory for lacking in confidence. If there were people abusing me like that in my place of work my confidence would go downhill too and I'm sure it would affect the quality of work I produce. If you hear it enough then you would start to believe it, especially someone as young as Rory. These players are just trying to do their job, and I doubt the loud abusive opinions of some of the people in the stands is going to make them any better at it. Definite dive by Barrowman would have been pissed off if Killie had done the same. yeah i agree a dive, however, killie can't complain they were flying these tackles in the box and thats just crazy...so if the defender goes to ground in the box and misses the ball then thats what happens. well done barrowman.
