  1. That'll be me going home Saturday then!!
  2. Ment to be going home Saturday, but, at Perth races today. So a good day today could mean an extra days holiday in Aberdeen!!!.
  3. I do hope so. A yorkshire tour would do nicely. Leeds, Huddersfield, Bradford, Doncaster, York, even Sheffield at a push. The goalkeeping coach is from these parts, so maybe he could persuade Terry to go to Yorkshire
  4. Have you ever seen/heard a good choir sing sitting down all the time? Standing gives your lungs more capacity and unrestricted air flow so allowing you to sing louder. Therefor, creating a noise which if put together with fellow singers,= support that helps drive team on, and therfor, creates an atmosphere. Drink, allows those of a quieter disposition or shy, like myself, the ability to join in with the choir. making more noise= more support for team and creates an atmosphere
  5. off topic, but, we are still waiting for potholes from November to be sorted, get the Japanese on the job!! Japan pothole fixed
  6. 1-0 inspite of the ref not wanting to give the pen
  7. Does anyone know if the game is still going to be on SKY?. As Tuesday is a Champion league night, will we still be on?
  8. Where will you be sitting? He won't be sitting anywhere!! but you'll know him, he'll be the Billy no mates standing by himself!!
  9. This must be up there with the most rediculous refereeing decisions ever. streaker sending off
  10. Haugh Aye replied to Yngwie's topic in Caley Thistle
Rather just have the turnip!!(the vegetable, not the player) .
  11. IF she has a baby boy and IF we win you'll have to name him after the player who hits the winner I'll put that idea to the missus TSNY but I think the response will be You could go for a middle name of, Esson Innes Hogg Tokely Munro Hayes Cox Duncan Doran Foran Rooney. It has a certain ring to it
  12. You had some time on your hands today Oh Wise One??
  13. I particularly like the last line of the last paragraph, "And it's what fans tell us they want." Whats the chance that he will sort out the league structure the way majority of fans have been telling him?
  14. As everyone has said bad, bad day at the office yesterday. Have to say though, after the bad press the stewards got the last time we were at Easter Road, I thought the stewards were great yesterday. Warm welcome outside ground happy smilling faces inside ground. Allowed to stand for full game and I can't remember any steward comming to "have a word" with anyone
  15. On oor way, cannae wait. Quieter day today though. Mrs dude canny hack the pace anymore!!
  16. I thought the pitch held up remarkably well. It was helped by the fact that Ireland so outplayed Scotland that only half the pitch was used in both halfs. Funny things last night were Main Stand emptying when rain came down and most fans moving to North Stand. Then when rain stopped, a lot of them moving back over. Also found out that I attract Stewards attention even when sober, for the heinous crime of daring to take photo's I had last laugh as he was stuck out in the downpour looking like a drowned, very cold and miserable rat!!
  17. Looks like we will be up for this one. Haven't seen a defeat in a league game since Aug 09. So long may it continue
  18. Hoping to get up for Hibs game Alex, so sort you out with a wee thank you drink
  19. sexist! Guzz, LG and yerself can officiate
  20. One of the comments reads, "The smartass. Not see that in this field the ball bounces as you want. While awaiting the auction and the boats are given in the potato fields of everything and move it is also impossible to top it"
  21. Haugh Aye replied to Wanderer's topic in Caley Thistle
Quite right Wanderer. And to prove I have moved on, I won't reply to your post about that marvelous night 10 years,364days, 10 hours and 30 minutes ago tonight.
  22. We had beer on the train up to Inverness from Stirling on the day of the Aberdeen game in October. Didn't have any bother with drinking it on train. Also on way back in the evening was fine.
  23. I thought it was the ref that calls games off Lucky that it gives any players carrying an injury a few more days to get fit for future games. Suspended players will still be suspended for next league game.
  24. Obviously I cannot comment on the quality of Alex MacDonald, not having see him play. But I find it strange that Burnley are happy for a 20 year old striker to go out on loan to ICT, and on the same day they sign a 21 year old striker from Swindon. With my cynical head on, it seems they are saying, they don't think MacDonald will make the grade in Championship? Hope he proves them wrong and scores a barrowload for us!!
  25. If it were a boxing match, I fear the ref would have stopped the contest in past 10 rounds!! Still think Terry will keep us safe this season, Just grateful for the great start to the season.
