  1. We are going to feckin annihilate them and lay the ghosts of yore. They broke our hearts a few times so let's taste the sweetness of revenge.
  2. Chorley in the play offs and big James Dean already on the 25 goal mark. You never know ? Still the rise of FC United can only be good for the game. Very impressed with the new ground and look forward to visiting - hopefully in the FA Vase or summat like that.
  3. Would it not be great if the final venue was switched to Parkhead ?
  4. What shocked me most - and probably did to several thousand others was this.
  5. Listen to your psychological expert here please Yogi is being mega polite but totally pisshh taking. What do we now care if the penalty was given or they scored. We won 3-2 - end of story. Of course it should have been a penalty - of course it should have been a sending off. I don't think that Yogi or Josh Meekings have ever contested that. Point is that Yogi is clearly stating that it was the fault of the referee who made "an honest mistake" and not Josh Meekings. Josh has also made comments in the press (fortunately) where he accepts that the hand ball could have been a shot saver and that he would not have been surprised had he been sent off. What he is saying - and the most important issue of all - and again he said it in the press - is that he did not deliberately attempt to prevent the ball going in to the goal with his hand. He has stated all along that he went in to block impulsively and that it was split second and Griffiths was a matter of a couple of feet away. So again he is saying that it was NOT a deliberate act and in many ways that it was a "ball to hand" situation. And again that projects the blame on to the officials - THREE of them - in this instance. Anyone know what the referees report was ?
  6. SARCASM. The use of words to clearly express the opposite of what they are seen to mean.
  7. Yeah read between the lines
  8. That is the sheer stupidity of it all. You either do it totally deliberately which means that you had to consider all the options or you did not mean it and it was the instinctive reaction of a professional future. IF the Judgement is a one match ban then it is the end of football. The SFA have bowed to pressure from Cellic and they are the laughing stock of the world.
  9. Join my Facebook event and call your friends - Johndo Ihe Mackenzie
  10. Absoluel Lizi - ok so Meekings gets sent off and Esson saves the penalty. Second half and Gordon gets sent off and Tansey scores. 10 against 10. Bollicks
  11. Apparently Cellic have asked for the hearing to be chaired by Jeremy Kyle and a lie detector test utilised.
  12. England may now have finally screwed Maradonna but they may also have lost the 1966 Cup Ginsl
  13. Shittt we could be in trouble - I never noticed the linesman
  14. So I can start planning for a non car driving day. When can we expect the final info about the feckin kick off - surely given it is us and the Wheel lovers it has to be a traditional Saturday at 3 pm ?
  15. Reckon as cup winners and third placed team that we may well be.
  16. Clockwork Bar on Cathcart Street.
  17. Well I can't believe that I even considered staying in Chorley to watch the game on Sky. Amused many that I had to drive home and here I am - absolutely feckin knackered - emotionally drained - but have to say that was the BEST feckin ever. We looked the better team for 10-15 minutes but then Celtic bossed the rest of the half. Raven was given a roasting by Forrest and their width was taking us apart at times. Two decisions either side of half time swung it. Josh should have walked but the ref and linesman missed it but there was no missing or doubting the Gordon red. I thought that we were the better side from there on in. Thought we were heading fer penalties before Dave the Rave settled it. May as well be harsh !! Ryan boobed for the second goal. Raven looked shell shocked at half time but then settled and game up with the goods. Warren was immense and what a shame that he misses the final. Shinnie was my MOM. He was inspirational and international class. Tansey was allowed to play as a creator. Draper outshone Scrappy Doo in the enforcer role. Williams got hit more times than Henry Cooper but kept going. What an engine Christie has and he came in to his own in extra time when he had been quiet in the second half. Still not convinced by Ofere but he notched the second. Watkins again played up front which made sense today and he fair rattled their back two. But what the feck - scottish Cup Final - time fer a voddte
  18. Some peeple can actually judge managers by their performance and not their skin colour. Barnes was an inconsistent but potentially pleasing and skillful player. He has become a proven and capable "activist" and role model in relation to racism BUT he was never going to succeed as a manager as many, many whiter dudes ever would either. Controversial but he may have got the job becos of his skin colour in the first instance.
  19. I will be wearing flares
  20. I have to concede that I really considered not going to the game. The Sunday itself was a bit of a blow as, probably like a lot of others I am working on Monday. Plus to me a semi final is not just about the game, it is a day out. That means having a few beers before and after the game. Hampden is also a nightmare to get to and made worse by the thousands of Cellic fans en route also. Plus Hampden ain't a novelty any more. When it is half full it is like a graveyard. This would have been better in Embra. I suspect many are looking at this as being a possible hiding and no chance of winning anyway. THAT I disagree with. And I doubt whether the system will be much different to last Saturday. I expect the team to be the same but with Watkins given more freedom to attack with Christie played deeper.
  21. Pity that I wasn't there. I would have vaulted over and calmed him with my compassionate, soothing counselling style.
