  1. I love him as yon waiter in Benidorm.

I am reliably informed that Mahonio is Terry Butcher. Starchief is spot on - and I now think that Hughes is cleverer than he looks and sounds. Although Starchief has a long feckin way yet to convince me.
  3. I was going to drive to Killie but I had a premonition about today and this season. So I am going to the following games - ICT in the cups and the last league game; Everton in the cup; Chorley in the league. I think that ICT may have played a feckin master stroke today. I suggest that we have given up on Europe which could be a financial disaster - I suggest that we are happy with Top Six and two mega cup runs - I think that we played same again today with the thought that we may not have enuff but to appease the majority of the support and then it is back to the usual starting X1at Butchers Back Garden - and wot a place to get to a final - and possibly back again for the final. And then I am reliably informed that we will be in the Algarve fer the pre season so keep yer feckin passports and summer hols free - I feckin am.
  4. Lets come back to this on Sunday to see who was closest !!
  5. I thought he was from Crapsville and was adopted by a butcher.
  6. Yogi was asked about where he got in touch with Latapy to accept the job - Jamaica ? - No he made his own decision. Butcher was asked about where he got in touch with Malpas to accept the Hibs job - We had decided months ago and it was my decision.
  7. It will be Butcher next.
  8. Let's hope that Caley D is not asked to assist in any offers as he is the only **** who knows how to spell is name !!
  9. Johnny Walker has helped me forget a lot of players.
  10. Yip - play well "consistently" or get dropped. That is as good an incentive as anything else to any footballer. But that also means being a team player and not an impressive individual. And that shows up on the training pitch and in the training as well as on the pitch.
  11. Have I got it wrong about Tremarco. I certainly think that he is a solid defender. I certainly think that he would die for the jersey. I certainly do not think that he would let us down. BUT I still do not think that he is an asset in going forward. I feel that some teams (Arabs twice) basically did not play anyone against him as they appeared to feel that he would not provide anything going forward. That is one of the main reasons that I want Shinnie back at left back.
  12. But he wasn't to blame as he never is.
  13. Aint it great to be back to so many different selections !! Brill Raven Meekings Warren Shinnie Draper Tansey Doran Vincent Williams McKay That would be my starting X1 but I have a hunch that Yogi will stick with Tremarco, keep Shinnie in the middle and save Vincent for the bench.
  14. Those comments smack of manipulative, egotistical codswallop.
  15. He is never going to shag anyone if he can't even make a semi. I am also becoming increasingly nervous. To me Stevenson is their best motivator and would die for the jersey. He was the biggest threat. This is all going too well !!
  16. Do you think it smacks of narcissism ?
  17. I will have to pre-book as I can't see anybody taking my word that I am over 55.
  18. Thanks Pops but I am going to Stranraer from Paisley so how do I qualify ?
  19. Feck me - can you get cheap train tickets when you are 55 plus - How ?
  20. Ith mo chac piseag. Rach tu agus a'sgaoil am leather de bhur paithar
  21. This must be the guy who sits behind all the sweetie wrappers
  22. The only headache that Yogi will get is from the terraces. He is going to have to axe some players and that is bound to upset a few if not many. Cometh the Hour. The biggest decision of the lot lies with Foran. As Yogi is more of the old school and I suspect is twitchy with the one up front system it would not surprise me if he went with. BRILL RAVEN WARREN MEEKINGS SHINNIE DRAPER TANSEY VINCENT MCKAY FORAN WILLIAMS
  23. Shinnie is a big plus because of his versatility. Unfortunately he is very, very one-footed. The only position where he has looked truly comfortable and effective in is at left wing back and if he was to play there on a regular basis he may well sneak in to the Scotland squad. We have enough cover now in midfield, especially given the arrival of Tansy and the recovery of Vincent.
