Aberdeen V Inverness C.T.
Note that there are still a few sitting on the fence regarding Yogi. Let just call them the Humpty Dumpties. Butcher would NEVER have adapted the team and the system in the manner that Hughes has. I strongly suspect that he will adhere to some of the players. Tansey will have benefitted from his spell at Stevenage and may be the "buy" of the season. Williams has the skill and the touch. He just needs a run in the team and Doran may be the fall guy.

Calling Englandshire
By the way feckin great FA Trophy game last nite as Chorley only got beat on penalties by Tamworth - what terrible conditions but put your money on Alfreton for the FA Cup Replay as they were fecked at the end and Chorley should have won in extra time. And if anyone has influence on the scouting I have seen the left back PAUL JARVIS - seen him a few times and looks class.

Calling Englandshire
I am driving straight up and back to Chorley fer the Killie game and then up on Sunday morning and back (later!!) on the Monday fer the semi-final - anyone want a feckin lift ?

And again his decision depends on greed or gratitude and his predeliction to co-dependency.

And the outcome of his decision basically speaks volumes for what he thinks of ICT..

Agree - Retribution is merely a side salad - Narcissist crave for Northern Irish sirloin steak and thrice cooked Macclesfield chips.

Butcher will seek some retribution on us as it is part of his personality but if players choose to go then let them.

Team for Aberdeen (A)
We played well yesterday so why change it apart from Devine for Warren ? I would not throw in Watkins. in my opinion this game is NOT important but getting the following three are.

Penalty-kick taker?
To me penalty taking is an art - I was a regular penalty taker and only ever missed one. It is all about practice and making your mind up before hitting it. We should be getting the preferred players to practice, practice, practice. The one person who really impressed me with his dead ball deliveries was Williams - and he is our only player to me that looks fluent.

SMILEYMOMETER BRILL I am mot sure who to give the Valium to - Deano or me - that was very, very shaky. RAVEN Welcome back Dave. Looked a bit off the pace early doors but showed us what we have been missing. WARREN Solid enuff as usual but he will be the first to admit that he had the clearest scoring chance of the day but blew it. MEEKINGS Not his best day at the office. Lost his marking 3-4 times that led to goal scoring chances. Distribution also poorer than usual. TREMARCO Looked very shaky in the first but fortunately not put under pressure in the second. I honestly think that other teams let him have space as he does not carry a threat going forward. POLWORTH I thought that he put in a generally good display. He tired near the end but had also clearly been told to sit in the hole in front of Warren and Meekings. SHINNIE Did OK but still is a left wing back to me. Needs to be stuck back there as soon as possible. DORAN I will give him MOM, just in front of Raven. He worked his socks off today and was a real playmaker. WILLIAMS Some great dead ball deliveries but did little else. May have suffered as everyone was looking for Doran all the time. ROSS Was doing OK up until penalty miss and his head went down a bit. Really needs to get more aggressive. Mckay Fell so, so sorry fer the wee man. Gets a goal, works his socks off but gets isolated with no support. It would have been interesting if Christie had more time on the park so we could evaluate the difference. Mr BEATON - Poor but thankfully boobed at their undoubted penalty which would also have resulted in a for Warren. And why was it not a :redcard:at our penalty ?? YOGI - Liked his selection, liked his system - only real criticism is that we lost shape after the penalty miss. His substitutions were correct but both were too late.
