  1. Am I alone in being a bit taken aback that the Board have been heavily criticised by some fans for not being communicative but now that they have they are being criticised for not being totally clear. Is any type of business likely to bear all. The plans are now out in the open and they’re to be quoted if they go awry. To me they are also saying that we are safe for another season but suggesting that it is a defining season. It has been evident for some time that there would be no management changes until the close of this season. That structure needs to be changed and that ties in individuals and financial outputs. They are also not going to release up to date financial information as it is not clear. what we should be doing is filling the ground for the Killie game and making a menacing atmosphere. Then we have another great day out and put much needed spondoolicks into the coffers. And are the excuses of depreciating away supports and wages to injured players acceptable ? I am resigned to getting this season over - preferably with a bit of a bang - but pressuring the Board if the expected and needed changes and improvements are not forthcoming. There a number of “true” ICT people in the mix and they also have to start making waves which I believe may have already begun. Watch this space !!
  2. Should we just wait for an ambulance to turn up ?
  3. Comments on the performance, the tactics and player monitoring. How did Carson look, where did he play Harper and Delaney - what was Shaw like and did Samuels look sharp ?
  4. Post Dungdee I remain at a 4. My main hope is a Hampden appearance and I am very close to giving up on the play offs but in this league, this season anything could happen. The wounded are drifting back and Dodds is evidently looking at the Fan Forums and taking direction !!
  5. Cant complain about a point away at Dungdee - but what about tactics - and other results have gone our way from a relegation persepective at least - Spiders are looking good
  6. Amazed that Carson is fit to start - presume that Delaney will be at full back and Harper moved forward. Can understand Danny Mackay being benched and Samuels in the Billy role. Only surprise to me is that Shaw has kept his place but suppose and hope that Doran takes over later on.
  7. I too have dropped but only to 3. I may have stuck at 4 as the performance on Tuesday - apart from the finishing - was actually quite promising BUT the loss of Billy is a big blow - and I will be amazed if Carson will be fit for Dungdee. Shure he will want to start but ??
  8. I realised that the meeting was about the Plastic Whistle match after I had a deluge of missed calls and pleading texts from Gerry Britton. I did request a discussion about the management structure but was simply advised - "We can talk about that after we go out of the cup and not before".
  9. Is there any way that I can stream this??
  10. A bit harsh methinks
  11. They are having a vote but it has to be a majority decision - there are 8 of us and CEO has the final decision if tied. What have I got myself into
  12. What rumours ? You are privileged to receive updates from an involved party
  13. Robbo to cover ??
  14. I have been invited to Zoom in on an urgent board meeting at the Dump this afternoon- I have declined as I agree that Dodds needs to go but not yet and I have made it clear that the Board is scapegoating and looking to plead innocence. I am going to have a few Doddsies later but not in celebration
  15. Rodger’s Did nowt wrong and helpless at both goals and had a relatively quiet night Carson 3 smileys for bravery if not stupidity. I would have hooked him after 20 minutes. He was clearly ineffective in the second half and I hope there is no lasting damage. Harper Anne Robinson would quickly recognise him as being the weak link in the defence. He is a midfielder- Simples. Duffy I would prefer to see him as a full back but he did alright last night Devine Deserved better Henderson was lost without the fit Carson. BUT he was kept out wide whilst giving him a deeper and more central role would have been more effective Welsh always looked to as the playmaker but played more passes out wide like a crabesque Ray Wilkins Allardice My MOM again - perfect foil for a playmaker and worked his feckin socks off. Shaw I would have hooked him and slapped him all the way down the tunnel- lily livered Danny McKay see comment for Shaw - wouldn’t get a game for Hibs Women Billy McKay- surely he is only staying to surpass Wyness. Look so frustrated by the lack of vision of those around him. Was the sending off out of frustration as both decisions looked wrong. And when you look at the bench what could we have done - Deas and Samuels are not 100% - Doran certainly could have replaced either Shaw or Danny - Delaney for Harper - and Hyde for Shaw.
  16. Absolutely spot on. He tried to replicate the Livi plan and that simply does not apply to Hamilton away. However if some players had applied a more deft touch then we could have left with a healthy win. But as the jaggie points out Dodds simply does not have the coaching brain. I do actually feel a bit sorry for him as he has had injuries galore and I would be livid at some players who he has retained the faith in. I do sense that there is a silent supporter factor fan wise and Dodds may think that he has the back up from above. But there would be widespread damnation if he stayed on after this season. His best bet is to get us out of the relegation potential and beat Killie. Then he can go with his head not touching the floor and leave the club to rebuild and recover. RIG’s match report is spot on so I will add a rather blunt smileymometer !!
  17. The only issue that I would have raised tactically tonight is that we should have packed the midfield more. Henderson was rarely involved, especially when Carson departed and Danny McKay was simply awful - whilst Shaw could not punch his way out of a paper bag. But again we went for it and for long periods were the better team. Our defensive frailty was down our left flank. Deas and Samuels will make a big difference. Going to stop now as I still can’t fathom how we lost tonight. With the returning players we may well make Hampden and be safe but the loss of McKay will halt any play on appearance. So it is not a Dodds at fault accusation but pointing the finger at 4 players who let us all down tonight
  18. Love to hear the thoughts of others in attendance but we really should have been out of sight and at one stage a hammering by us was on the cards. We either missed chances, made an awful last touch or made terrible touches when in good positions. We then gave away a stupid penalty and - perhaps blame Dodds - but we get it down the wing -?but instead of taking defenders on we blast it aimlessly into the box.
  19. Well I would have to say that I did NOT feel that Dodds was responsible tonight. Apart from Allardice and Billy there was no sense of quality. Danny McKay was awful and Shaw was a total lightweight. We missed or overplayed countless chances. We bossed large periods of the game but still looked uneasy and brittle every time that Hamilton came forward which wasn’t very often. We simply should have been strolling by the hour. Need to see replays but both of Billy’s cards looked soft if not wrong.
  20. Two absolutely ridiculous yellow cards for Billy McKay sum it all up
  21. And now even Billy misses a sitter
  22. Perhaps justice is done by a ridiculous challenge in the box by Danny McKay. Have we got the bottle ??
  23. Great block by Meekins to stop a certain goal
  24. At the moment and I am loathe to say it -,we are bossing this game and Danny McK let’s another chance go a begging
  25. We have started off really well and Duffy has missed an absolute sitter
