  2. How the feck are we going to get pished before the kick ofF ??
  3. Well to be honest the reason that I started this topic - and the reason I have been posting after an absence - is that I was disillusioned and TBH totally cheesed off - by the negativity and IMHO a number of unfairly derisive posters who appeared to be more intent in catastrophising and being overly critical and negative. Shure there was a lot to complain about but I could not understand that the injuries this season were not seen as being a major reason for our poor form. No other team in this league would have dealt with the same situation. It gave me great pleasure to witness the rise in the scoring and the positivity in the last few weeks. And did anyone actually believe that we would take three points from Queens Park ?? Well some eejits are still talking about relegation. I sincerely am sticking at a FIVE - as I truly believe that we have an outside chance of making the play offs given our fixture list - and I intend to go to Morton and to Hamilton (away). We have been away behind before and made up the ground. I dont think that we will get promoted but we have to keep up the momentum for the Cup. And as for the sanctimonious amongst us - I wish I could start a podcast revealing the rumours that I have heard - I evidently cant - BUT wholly agree that the club needs a clear out and a managerial reconstruction. There may be individuals retained which I do not agree with but individuals given more creedence and influence plus financial support from a - lets say previously rumoured source. At the end of the day I am a feckin diehard and my season will be saved by two trips to Hampden and a play off or close to play off place ending. OK the negative may be that I have little confidence in the tactics during the league fixtures and the unbelievable, continuing lack of communication with the fan base.
  4. Perhaps we have actually been spoilt over the years and playing in a major semi final no longer holds any real sense of achievement, expectation or perhaps even passion. Perhaps it is about being the favourites and not playing against a more illustrious club. Perhaps many may be anticipating a win and saving up for a bigger day out playing one side of the Old Filth. Unfortunately in the current climate the obstacles of finances, travel and TV coverage also take its toll and the game may well have been better attended if it had been played at Easter Road or Tynecastle. My sense is that this is another unforgettable and unmissable episode in the history of ICT and Inverness football. So I am going to strive to be there and look forward to meeting up with the fortunate and the rich elements of our support
  5. Thank you for your response- I will record the statistic in the sanctimonious section
  6. Great to have you back Charles, especially as you are still biting
  7. Tomorrow is as difficult a match as we have had in some time. Unfortunately it is a must win for the play offs. I fear that there may be a backlash due to our recent performances and results. Personally I would be satisfied with a draw. Anything better would be the biggest confidence booster in a long time. Lets make sure that when we wash Incey Wincey spider down the spout that we plug it.
  8. will need to close after tomorrow's game. Would appreciate you all posting your initial score, your end score and your reasoning for the decrease or increase.
  9. This can only mean one thing - February 8th's computer has been interfered with by the spirit world
  10. Sponsored ICT Kiltwalk to Hampden ??
  11. LOL - who would have believed the posts in the last few days prior to this weekend- well apart from a Seer
  12. Sorry I was caught up in a Seer moment at the time of posting
  13. With the crowd problems at the last game the polis will push for the Saturday for the Old Firm
  14. Colin Hendry effectively fixes a Rangers v ICT Cup Final
  15. Or "Wont you stay - just a little bit longer" by Jackson Browne ?
  16. Now that is a post that hits the nail right through the MDF.
  17. Whoa - it has to be a song recorded by KC and the Sunshine Band. This could me a more defining audit of fan emotion at this particular time. So what are you carousing ? Thats the way (I like it) Shake your booty (could be reference to botty or spondoolicks) Keep it coming (love) Get down tonight Please dont go Give it up
  18. Let’s come down to earth and consider the rubbish talked in the post match TV interviews. Dodds talking garbage again - He actually thinks that injuries to important players has ruined our season. The need to playing reserves has affected tactics and led to vital mistakes being made. He then suggests that the spirit is still there- well listening to and simply looking at the non verbal presentations of McKay and Welsh it is clear that the dressing room is lost and there is no togetherness. Last night was simply a fluke and a total one off. I am sure that many others will concur with my views. I also feel that the players were hoodwinked into playing better purely because it was the CEO’s birthday and there was a threat to cancel Doran’s testimonial dinner. REAL fans will not be taken in
  19. I almost went to 6 after listening to the Dodds, McKay and Welsh interviews after the game. Those are not the words of a broken dressing room.
  20. No Caley, No Pyro - Come on I bet we all had flares in the 70's.
  21. As predicted
  22. Leave the predictions to the seers
  23. Staying at 5 but my only comment is "Who looked like the Premiership club tonight??"
  24. Well we took control after the worst start ever, better team and playing some good stuff BUT have we put too much energy into that half and boy do I feel nervous when Killie go forward. And let’s hope we learn the lesson of keeping it tight for the first 20-15 minutes
